This story, and the characters in it, belong to me.
Previously on Star and Ember:
Stareye, and Embercore, are trapped in the Synervian Liberation Force's headquarters. In a shocking twist, the SLF are revealed to be Star's and Ember's friends. It was all a setup. Now, Star and Ember have to save themselves.
5.1. Technodroid reveals his plan.
In the Control Room of the SLF's flying transporter, Stareye and Embercore are surrounded by the six leaders of the force. Stareye is still injured, and his wound is still glowing orange. He covers his stab wound with his left hand. He, and Embercore, are still in shock over Technodroid's transformation into his super-villain suit. Power flows through Technodroid's body. A huge smile is on his face.
Technodroid the Destroyer:
All of this power gained from the turmoil, and desires, of my fellow Synervians.
He looks at Stareye.
Technodroid the Destroyer:
Like that terrified expression on your face, Star. It looks beautiful. Just like you said, it was all a lie from the very beginning.
Technodroid has a flashback.
Technodroid the Destroyer's (Narrator):
Remember that incident with the Prowler figurine at the Creation Crew Station? Well, after you and Ember left our home, Wrath and I had a little conversation.
Wrathenus:
I... I'll admit that I... envy Ember...
Technodroid:
Only "envy?"
Technodroid is hugging Wrathenus from behind. She turns around, and looks at Technodroid dead in the eyes. Tears start to roll from her eyes.
Wrathenus:
...I hate her... Everything that she has should be mine... MINE!
Technodroid:
Then, let's take everything from her.
Wrathenus' eyes widen.
Wrathenus:
W-W-What do you mean?
Technodroid:
You want her life? You want her castle? You want to get rid of her? Let's do it.
Wrathenus:
You mean... put her to slumber?
Technodroid:
If that's how we defeat her, and Star, then yes.
Technodroid raises his right hand. Orange fire forms around his hand.
Technodroid:
I think I understand how my powers work now. The fire that broke out at the castle, and Slickshot's figurine going haywire at the station, has caused my power to increase. Now, after you told me your desires, I felt my power surge within me again.
The flames around his hand disappears. Then, he puts his hand on Wrathenus' cheek.
Technodroid:
I can help you achieve your dream. In return, I'll need power.
Wrathenus:
I'll do whatever it takes. There are a lot of people that I've dreamed of putting to slumber.
Technodroid smiles.
Technodroid:
And I'll be right beside you to help make that happen.
Wrathenus smiles. They kiss each other.
Technodroid:
We might not be able to do this alone.
Wrathenus:
We'll need an army?
Technodroid:
Yes. I want every Synervian to submit to our will. If not, then we'll put them to slumber too. Imaging being the queen of Synervia, and I as the king? We'll have multitudes of people worshipping us, and fulfilling our every command.
Wrathenus:
Everything that I deserve...
Technodroid:
Indeed.
Wrathenus:
When do we start?
Technodroid:
I already have a plan.
Technodroid the Destroyer (Narrator):
Wrathenus faked her disappearance. As a result, Ember experienced emotional turmoil and other Synervians exposed their true feelings. This, along with putting our enemies to slumber and increasing our numbers, made my power grow exponentially.
Detective Stareye (Narrator):
You two exploited Slickshot, and the others.
Technodroid the Destroyer (Narrator):
"Exploited?" They joined us willingly.
Wrathenus the Enchantress (Narrator):
They were craving for a remedy and we gave them what they truly needed, unlike you and Ember.
Technodroid the Destroyer (Narrator):
I also have to thank you for your contributions, Star. I recorded the training routines, and the schematics for the superhero suits, that you created. I created all the weapons that the SLF utilizes, and Wrath and I taught them how to put people to slumber. We even created a secret base to run our operations. You are in it right now. It is a ship that we call "The Conqueror." Eventually, we managed to capture you, and Ember.
The flashbacks ends. Stareye, and Embercore, look defeated.
Detective Stareye:
I... I wanted... to protect people...
Technodroid smiles at Stareye.
Technodroid the Destroyer:
I perfected your creations. Star. You should be thanking me.
Detective Stareye:
You're... a thief...
Technodroid leans down, and looks at Stareye with a twisted smile on his face.
Technodroid the Destroyer:
Are you angry, Star?
Stareye lowers his head to avoid eye-contact with Technodroid.
Technodroid the Destroyer:
Aw. Don't hide those sweet bitter emotions from me, Star. I love it. However, if you want someone to blame for all of this, then you should blame yourself.
Stareye raises his head, and his eyes widen.
Technodroid the Destroyer:
Remember when I called you for help, and you found me lying on the floor in Wrathenus' house?
Stareye has a flash back to the event.
Technodroid the Destroyer (Narrator):
If you didn't save me, then none of the proceeding events would've happened.
Stareye's remembers everything that happened afterwards. Then, the flashbacks end. Stareye doesn't move. He's in shock.
Technodroid the Destroyer:
Yes, Star. All of this is your fault... And, I can't thank you enough.
Stareye closes his eyes, and lowers his head. Technodroid turns to Embercore.
Technodroid the Destroyer:
I guess that vision you had was true after all, Ember. If the SLF didn't coalesce, we wouldn't have been able to take you and Star down.
Wrathenus the Enchantress:
And now, we're going to collect your orbs.
Stareye grits his teeth. He leans forward in order to try and stand up, but Embercore holds on to him. Then, her eyes turn white. Stareye starts talking to her telepathically:
Stareye (Telepathically):
Ember... I...
Embercore (Telepathically):
Don't move.
Stareye (Telepathically):
I promise... to get you... out of here...
Embercore (Telepathically):
Shhh. Heal up first. Then, we're getting out of here.
Embercore stands up, and walks in front of Stareye. Her focus is honed in on Wrathenus. An evil smile is on her face. Embercore's face is stern. Her eyes glow red, and her body begins to transform. Stareye's eyes widen as he sees Embercore transform into a yellow, and red, Octo-Serpent! She opens her mouth, and fire shoots out of it! It flies towards the SLF members. Technodroid extends his arms forwards, and his hands block the fire from hitting his team. The Octo-Serpent's tail grabs Stareye, and puts him on top of her head. Stareye's eyes turn white, and so does his body. His wound begins to heal. Wrathenus eyes glow blue, and she transforms into a purple, blue, and green Octo-Serpent. She slithers up to Embercore, and opens her mouth. Water comes out of it, and shoots towards the yellow Serpent. The yellow Octo-Serpent shoots her fire breath at the purple Serpent. The two breaths collide, creating a stalemate between the two Serpents starts. While the yellow serpent is distracted, Technodroid flies up to the yellow Octo-Serpent's head, and grabs Stareye!
Technodroid the Destroyer:
Uh uh uuuh! No healing!
The yellow Octo-Serpent turns her attention to Stareye, and Technodroid. The purple Octo-Serpent sees an opening. Her eyes turn green, and she bites the yellow Serpent on the neck! The yellow Serpent's eyes turn green. Technodroid, and Stareye, fly through the entrance to the room. Slickshot transforms into mud, and sinks into the floor. Redeye transforms into fire, and disappears. The yellow Octo-Serpent tries to grab the purple Serpent, resulting in the two Serpents going in a circle. The yellow Serpent goes up into the air, and the two Serpents' bodies become entwined. They hit the ceiling, and then fall back down to the ground. The two Serpents transform back into their human forms. Embercore's body glows green, and so do her eyes. Her body is paralyzed. Then, blue ice appears and traps her. Eviscera, and Icecore, walk up to Wrathenus. Wrathenus' eyes are glowing blue.
Wrathenus the Enchantress:
Let the boys have their fun with Star.
Embercore faces Wrathenus. She frowns at her, while Wrathenus has an evil smile on her face.
Wrathenus the Enchantress:
We're gonna have some fun with you.
5.2. Stareye vs. Technodroid, Slickshot, and Redeye.
Technodroid throws Stareye through the door to the pit. Stareye lands on the ground on his back. He is in the middle of the arena again. Redeye's clones are still present, and they cheer as Stareye lies on the ground. Stareye leans up, and sees a bright light near the entrance. An orange lightning bolt strikes the ground, and morphs into Technodroid. Stareye gets to his feet. He clenches his wound on his chest with his left hand, and raises his right fist. On Technodroid's left, mud comes out of the ground and transforms into Slickshot. On Technodroid's right, red flames appear and turn into Redeye. Technodroid smiles, and Stareye bears his teeth. Technodroid stops walking. Slickshot and Redeye stop as well, and they turn to Technodroid. Technodroid raises his hand. Slickshot's eyes turn brown, and his body turns into mud. Redeye's eyes turn red and his inducers insert inside him, causing his body to transform.
Technodroid's eyes turn orange, and flames appear around his head. The flames morph into his helmet.
Stareye's eyes widen as he recognizes the Destroyer's helmet.
Technodroid snaps his fingers. Slickshot slithers towards the left side of Stareye, and Redeye flies towards Stareye's right side. Technodroid flies foward. Slickshot's hands turn into axe bladeclaws, and he swings them at Stareye. Stareye's eyes turn white, and so do his arms. His arms turn into ice. He raises his arms, and block Slickshot's bladeclaws from hitting him. Slickshot swings his left bladeclaw forward. Stareye swings his left arm forward, and cuts off Slickshot's lower left arm. However, Slickshot swings his body around, and kicks Stareye in the abdomen. It activates Stareye's wound! Stareye yells out in pain, and leans forward. Slickshot turns around, and extends his right arm forward. His wrist eradicator forms on his arm. Stareye raises his arms, and crosses them to protect himself. Slickshot fires a mud rock. Then, Redeye swings a fist at the mud rock. The fist connects to the rear of the rock, and forces the rock to hit Stareye with double the force! Stareye flies backwards, and hits the ground face-first.
Slickshot the Tracker:
Gotcha!
The crowd cheers. Stareye's arms return to normal. Technodroid walks up, and picks up Stareye by grabbing the top of his hat.
Technodroid the Destroyer:
Oh, I've been waiting for this. I'm gonna savor every moment of your agony.
Technodroid punches Stareye in the face. He flies across the arena, and hits the wall! Then, he slides down to the ground. Technodroid flies towards him. He watches Stareye struggle to get back to his feet. Technodroid crosses his arms.
Technodroid the Destroyer:
You know, Star, your misery can end if you just give up.
Stareye continues to try and stand up. Technodroid swings a fist at Stareye, but Stareye catches it. Technodroid knees Stareye in the abdomen. His spiky knee pad penetrates Stareye's abdomen! Stareye bends over, and gasps. Then, Technodroid does a roundhouse kick to Stareye. He hits him in the face, and Stareye is sent flying forward. Redeye intercedes, and backhands Stareye in the face! He falls back on the ground face-first. Technodroid laughs as he begins to walk up to Stareye.
Technodroid the Destroyer:
You just won't learn your lesson, will you?
Redeye walks up to Technodroid.
General Redeye the Multiplyer:
Tech, let me at him. I want to see how my power matches against his.
Technodroid thinks about Redeye's proposal.
Technodroid the Destroyer:
I'll let you play with him for a little bit. Then, we're putting him to slumber.
A smile forms on Redeye's face.
General Redeye the Multiplyer:
Thank you.
He turns around, and faces Stareye. Stareye lifts his upper body up from the ground. Redeye flies up to him and kicks him in his chest, hitting his wound. Stareye is flipped onto his back. He looks up, and sees Redeye standing above him.
General Redeye the Multiplyer:
I finally have a chance to fight you, Star.
Stareye:
W-What did he... promise you?
General Redeye the Multiplyer:
A life without pain...
He raises his boot above Stareye.
Gneral Redeye the Multiplyer:
...And his solution actually WORKED!
He slams his boot on Stareye's head.
General Redeye the Multiplyer:
I did what you told me to do win back my partner. She was going to leave me regardless. Thankfully, Slick told me about the SLF. They helped me to move on...
An evil smile forms on his face.
General Redeye the Multiplyer:
...By giving me the strength to put my ex, and her new lover, to slumber!
Stareye:
Y-Y-You're a... monster... now...
Slickshot walks up to Redeye.
Slickshot the Tracker:
Really? I don't think Red has ever looked better.
General Redeye the Multiplyer:
I agree, and I can't let you or Ember take my new gift away from me.
Stareye's eyes turn white. He grabs Redeye's boot, and uses his remaining strength to push Redeye over. Redeye falls onto his back. Slickshot's eyes turn brown, and his wrist eradicator forms on his arm. He extends his arm towards Stareye. Stareye's eyes shoot ice beams out of them, and they hit Slickshot! Slickshot's body gets frozen in ice. Redeye gets back to his feet. Stareye opens his mouth, and shoots his ice breath at Redeye. Redeye's eyes turn red, and he opens his mouth. He shoots fire breath out of hit, and it flies towards Stareye. The fire and ice breath collide! However, the fire breath overpowers the ice breath and hits Stareye. Stareye is blasted backwards, and rolls across the ground. The crowd cheers again. Redeye, and his eyes return to normal. Slickshot melts the ice off of him by turning into lava. Afterwards, his body returns to normal but his eyes are still glowing brown. He bears his teeth in frustration.
Slickshot the Tracker:
THAT'S IT!
Redeye puts an arm in front of Slickshot.
General Redeye the Multiplyer:
Hold on. Let me wear him down first. Then, you can cut his head off.
Slickshot raises an eyebrow at Redeye. After thinking about the proposal, Slickshot's eyes return to normal.
Slickshot the Tracker:
I'm fine with that.
Redeye smiles. He starts walking up to Stareye. Stareye gets to his feet, but he hears footsteps behind him. He turns around, and swings a fist up at Redeye. He uppercuts Redeye in the chin! Redeye is stopped dead in his tracks... However, he doesn't show any reaction to being hit. A smile forms on his face. Stareye bears his teeth out of frustration. Interestingly, Redeye doesn't retaliate. Confused, Stareye retracts his fist.
General Redeye the Multiplyer:
Go on. Try again.
Stareye doesn't move. Instead, his eyes glow white again. Redeye doesn't move. Stareye opens his hand, and a snowball drops out of it and hits the ground. The snowball rolls up to Redeye, and explodes. Ice comes out of it, and engulfs Redeye! Then, Redeye breaks free from the ice. His fists are stretched out, and he still has an evil grin on his face.
General Redeye the Multiplyer:
Is that it!?
Stareye gets annoyed. He swings another fist at Redeye, but Redeye catches his fist. Then, he grabs Stareye by his hat and lifts him up in the air. His other hand grabs Stareye by his leg. He lifts his knee up, and then he slams Stareye's back onto his knee! Stareye's body is cut in half! As Stareye screams in pain, Redeye tosses Stareye's legs away and slams Stareye's upper torso to the ground. Redeye's clones cheer in approval. Redeye kneels down on one knee, and looks down at Stareye.
General Redeye the Multiplyer:
That's the price of being a good man, Star. It will leave you broken, and alone.
He starts punching Stareye repetitively in the head! Half of Stareye's head turns into water from the impact of the punches. Redeye stops to admire his handiwork. An evil smile forms on his face.
General Redeye the Multiplyer:
Pathetic. I can't believe I used to be as soft as you. I think Ember deserves a better man... Someone like me.
Stareye's eyes widen. Redeye laughs, and the crowd cheers.
General Redeye the Multiplyer:
Face it, Star: There's no place in Synervia for a man like you anymore.
The crowd starts chanting:
Crowd:
Finish him! Finish him! Finish him!
Redeye smiles. He flips Stareye over, and grabs his hat. He lifts Stareye up, exposing his neck. He turns to Slickshot.
General Redeye the Multiplyer:
Hey Slick, would you kindly do the honors?
Slickshot smiles. His eyes turn brown, and his arm turns into mud. His hand turns into a mud axe bladeclaw.
Slickshot the Tracker:
Don't mind if I do!
He swings his bladeclaw forward. Stareye's eyes glow white, but Slickshot's bladeclaw cuts his head off! A loud gasp is heard from the crown. Technodroid raises an eyebrow, wondering if the task had been successfully completed. Redeye lifts up Stareye's head with his right arm. Then, Stareye's head turns into ice and it encases Redeye's entire arm! Stareye's legs turn into water, and the water starts to grow. Slickshot, and Technodroid, fly out of the way. The. water goes up until it hits the force field surrounding the pit. Then, the water wraps around Redeye and turns into a giant snow ball.
Technodroid the Destroyer:
What!?
Inside the snowball, Redeye looks around to try and find Stareye.
General Redeye the Multiplyer:
Okay, Star... Show yourself!
The ground underneath him turns into water. The water raises up to his waist, and then freezes. Behind him, water comes out of the ground. It morphs into Stareye, but his body is made out of ice and his eyes are glowing white. Stareye grabs Redeye's head from behind, and his eyes turn white. Redeye starts to yell! He swings his head, forcing Stareye to let go of him. Stareye hastily runs back up to Redeye, and grabs his frozen arm, and elbows it in the middle. Redeye's arm snaps! Redeye feels the pain, and screams! Then, Stareye grabs Redeye's head again. Redeye's head turns black, and gets covered in white veiny ice over. Redeye's eyes turn red. Stareye punches him in the head, and then kicks him in the abdomen. Redeye is kicked so hard that he is freed from the ice! Stareye grabs Redeye's broken arm, and pulls him back. Stareye raises his knee, and knees Redeye in the head. Redeye falls to the ground. He grabs his head. A look of fear is on his face. Stareye's body returns to normal, and his wound is gone. He doesn't say anything. Redeye frowns, and bears his teeth. His eyes turn red again, and his body turns into flames! He stands up. His arm has healed.
General Redeye the Multiplyer:
YOU CAN'T HURT ME!
His body returns to normal, except for his hands which turn into flames. He flies up to Stareye. He swings multiple fists at Stareye, but Stareye dodges all of them.
General Redeye the Multiplyer:
NO ONE CAN!
Stareye's eyes glow white, and so do his fists. He punches Redeye in the head, and then a roundhouse kick to his head. Redeye swings his body around, and he swings a leg towards Stareye. Stareye catches Redeye's leg with both of his arms, and swings him around. Redeye hits the wall of the snowball. His body sticks to the wall. Stareye knees Redeye in the abdomen, but Redeye doesn't feel it. Redeye's body starts to get encased in ice. Redeye breaks one of his arms free, and he grabs Stareye's leg. He throws Stareye to the ground. His eyes turn red, and his body turns into flames. He melts the ice around his body. He leaps off of the wall, and curls up into a ball. He flies towards Stareye, and explodes when he hits the ground! Stareye flies across the ground. Redeye stands up. Suddenly, his body returns to normal except for his head and hands. He feels cold. He looks around the snowball. He realizes that the longer he stays inside it, the weaker he'll become and the stronger Stareye will get. He turns around to try to leave, but Stareye grabs his leg. Redeye's eyes turn red, and red smoke comes out of his back. The smoke hits Stareye. His eyes turn red, and he starts growling. He grabs his head, and writhes in pain on the ground. He starts to growl as well. Redeye turns around, and notices that his trick worked.
General Redeye the Multiplyer:
How do you like my "rage plague?" Now, you will feel the same rage that flows through me.
Stareye gets up from the ground, and lunges after Redeye.
General Redeye the Multiplyer:
Stop.
Stareye's freezes. Redeye smiles.
General Redeye the Multiplyer:
I can make you do whatever I want. However...
Redeye walks behind Stareye.
General Redeye the Multiplyer:
It would be prudent to take advantage of the situation, and get rid of you once and for all.
He grabs Stareye by the head, and his shoulder. He rips Stareye's head off! Then, he rips all of Stareye's limbs off! Redeye opens his mouth, and fire comes out of it. The fire lands on Stareye's severed body parts, and melts them. The body parts evaporate into smoke. When they're gone, Redeye closes his mouth. His eyes return to normal.
General Redeye the Multiplyer:
Come on... Show me the orb...
Above him, water from the roof of the snowball drips down and transforms into Stareye. He lands on Redeye, and grabs him by the head. Redeye's eyes turn white. He starts to scream as his face starts to turn ba=lack, and white ice veins start to come out of his eyes and cover his head. Underneath him, ice starts form around his legs. He grabs Stareye by the head, and throws him off of him. He kicks the ice off of his legs. Before he can heal himself, Stareye gets up and punches him in the head. Redeye feels it! He swings a fist at Stareye, but Stareye dodges it. He goes underneath Redeye, and raises him up on his shoulders. He power-bombs Redeye to the ground on his back! He flips Redeye over, and wraps his legs around Redeye's chest and grabs his head again. The rest of Redeye's body starts to change to black, and covered in white ice veins. Redeye starts to scream. He tries to grab Stareye, but he loses control of his body when he turns completely black. freezes over. His head returns to normal, and the plungers on Redeye's inducers go up. His body returns to normal. Afterwards, Stareye lets go of him. Redeye shivers on the ground.
General Redeye the Multiplyer:
C-Cold... I f-feel... c-cold...
Detective Stareye:
You’ve finally cooled down, huh?
Stareye's body returns to normal. He falls to his hands and knees, and catches his breath.
Detective Stareye:
I miss the man you used to be...
Redeye looks at Stareye.
Detective Stareye:
I'm sorry... that you were betrayed, but I won't turn... into a man like you. Hopefully, I can save you.
Outside the giant snowball, Redeye's clones start to glow red. They grab their heads, and start to yell. Then, they all disappear in flames. Slickshot's eyes widen, and he turns to Technodroid who is standing on his left.
Slickshot the Tracker:
Red is down...
Technodroid flies upward. He raises his hand, and his eyes turn orange. An orange lightning bolt forms in his hands, and he throws it at the snowball. The snowball is obliterated, and turns into smoke! On the ground, Slickshot aims both of his wrist eradicators at the smoke. Suddenly, Redeye's body is thrown out of the smoke, and hits Slickshot in the face! The back of Slickshot's head hits the ground first, and then his whole body flips over. He lands on his abdomen. Redeye's body lands above Slickshot, and he is also on his abdomen. Slickshot gets up. He looks turns his head, and sees Redeye quivering on the ground. He turns his head around, and sees Stareye appearing out of the smoke. The two men stand still as the smoke dissipates. They frown at each other. Slickshot's eyes turn brown, and he puts his right hand behind his back. His hand turns into a mud axe bladeclaw. Stareye's eyes turn white, and his right hand turns into a fist. A white light forms around his fist, and then disappears.
Then, Stareye extends his arm forward, and releases an ice ball towards Slickshot. Slickhot raises his left arm, and fires his wrist eradicator. A lava rock fires from it, and connects with the ice ball. The two objects explode. Slickshot runs forwards, and swings his bladeclaw forward. Stareye ducks his head, and dodges the bladeclaw. Stareye swings a fist towards Slickshot's head, but Slickshot blocks the fist with his arm. Slickshot swings his knee up, but Stareye blocks it with his thigh. The two of them swing their fists at each other, and their fists connect with each other! Slickshot swings his bladeclaw at Stareye's abdomen, but Stareye move backwards and avoids it. Stareye leans back, and tries to kick Slickshot in the abdomen. Slickshot crosses his arms, and protects his abdomen from the kick. Stareye turns around, and tries to knee Slickshot in the head. Slickshot blocks it with his arm. Stareye swings another fist at Slickshot's face, but Slickshot grabs his arm. He swings his bladeclaw to try and cut Stareye's arm off. Stareye catches the bladeclaw, and his eyes turn white. He blows frost breath on Slickshot's arm that has the bladeclaw on it, and the arm freezes. Stareye rips Slickshot's arm off! Slickshot yells. Then, Stareye kicks Slickshot in the abdomen. Slickshot flips over, and lands on his feet. His eyes turn brown. His second arm turns into mud, and it grabs Stareye. The mud wraps around Stareye's abdomen. Then, Slickshot's body turns into mud and grows larger. His severed arm regenerates. Slickshot lifts Stareye up in the air with both hands, and slams him all the way back down onto the ground! Stareye's body turns into water. The water glows white briefly. The water grows larger, and turns into a giant version of Stareye made out of water!
Stareye swings a fist at Slickshot, and he hits him in the head. Slickshot leans backwards, and hits the force field surrounding the arena. Slickshot opens his mouth, and mud breath shoots out of it. The mud hits Stareye in the face. Slickshot clenches a fist, and swings forward. He hits Stareye in the face. Slickshot raises his other arm, and punches Stareye in the chest. Stareye stumbles backwards. The arena starts to shake from the movement of the two colossal men! Technodroid flies up next to Slickshot. His eyes glow orange, and he raises up his arm. A lightning bolt forms in his hand, and he throws it. The lightning bolt hits Stareye, and it goes through his chest! Stareye falls to his hands on the ground. Slickshot laughs. Stareye's eyes turn white. Underneath Slickshot, water hands come out of the ground and grab Slickshot's arms. The mud on Stareye's face freezes over. Ice breath shoot out of Stareye's mouth, and the frozen mud on his face splinters into pieces. The ice breath hits Slickshot in the abdomen, and the ice starts to move up his body. Slickshot's eyes turn brown, and he opens his hands. Underneath Stareye, three mud hands come out of the ground. Two of them grab Stareye's hands, and the third goes around Stareye's neck. Stareye stops firing his ice breath, but his eyes remain white. His body turns into water, and flies forwards Slickshot. Slickshot gets covered in water, and the water freezes into ice. Inside the giant ice block, a brown light glows briefly. The ice block breaks apart, and green lava comes out of it. Technodroid flies out of the way of the falling ice. The ice turns into water. The lava turns back into Slickshot.
Behind Slickshot, water leaps up from the ground and transforms back into Stareye. He grabs Slickshot from behind, and puts him in a chokehold. He wraps his legs around Slickshot's waist, and Slickshot falls to his knees. Stareye's eyes turn white, and he puts a hand on Slickshot's head. Slickshot starts yelling. His body starts to turn black, and white ice veins emerge from his head. He falls to his knees.
Slickshot the Tracker:
I promise... you... Star... You... and Ember... will be put to slumber!
Detective Stareye:
I remember you told me to keep Ember safe. I'm going to keep that promise, and I'll find a way to bring the old you back as well.
Slickshot's falls to the ground on his left side. His body turns completely black, and the ice veins cover his whole body. He goes limb on the ground. His eradicator comes out of his body. Stareye lets Slickshot go, and gets to his feet. He turns around, and sees Technodroid land to the ground. He gets into a defensive position, but Technodroid doesn't do anything yet.
Detective Stareye:
Two hotheads down. Just one more to go.
Technodroid the Destroyer:
I remember when Ember showed us the Book of Synervia.
Detective Stareye:
Is this the story that you want to have written about you? How you put people to slumber, lied to your friends, and tried to start an uprising across Synervia?
Technodroid the Destroyer:
I wouldn't have it any other way.
Stareye frowns.
Technodroid the Destroyer:
In fact, I'm about to write the next chapter. It will be titled "The end of Stareye."
Stareye flies up to Technodroid, and swings a fist forward. He hits Technodroid in the head. Technodroid doesn't move. Stareye gets annoyed. Technodroid retaliates by doing an uppercut to Stareye in the face! The force from the impact sends Stareye flying backwards, but Technodroid grabs his leg. He turns around, and tries to slam Stareye to the ground. Stareye extends his arms in front of him, and his hands touch the ground. He rolls forward, bringing Technodroid with him. Technodroid rolls forward as well, and both of them get back to their feet. Technodroid turns around, and is greeted by Stareye's foot to his abdomen. He doesn't flinch. Stareye elbows Technodroid in the face, but Technodroid doesn't feel anything. He starts to laugh. Stareye turns around to try and punch Technodroid, but Technodroid clotheslines Stareye instead. Stareye falls on his back. Technodroid grabs Stareye by the neck, and drags his across the ground head-first! Half of Stareye's head erodes away on the ground! Then, he lifts Stareye up and kicks him forward. Stareye hits the left wall near the entrance of the arena. His body turns into water from the impact! The water glows white, and transforms back into Stareye. His head healed up.
Technodroid's eyes glow orange, and he raises his arm. Fire on his arm transforms into a wrist eradicator. It fires a fireball that heads towards Stareye. Stareye's flies around the fireball. The fireball hits the wall, and explodes behind him. He flies towards Technodroid. Technodroid lowers his arm, and the wrist eradicator transforms into flames Stareye's eyes glow white, and so his hands. Ice beams shoot out of his eyes, and fly towards Technodroid. He bends his head to the left, and dodges the frost beams. As he gets closer to Technodroid, Stareye makes a fist and swings it towards him. Technodroid catches it. Stareye feels a sharp pain in his chest. He lets out a gasp. He looks down, and sees Technodroid's wrist bladeclaw stabbing him! He goes down on one knee.
Technodroid the Destroyer:
Any normal Synervian would've been put to slumber by now. You truly are a freak, Star, just like me.
Detective Stareye:
I'm... nothing... like you!
Technodroid the Destroyer:
Is this the story that you want to have written about you? As one of my victims?
Detective Stareye:
I want to be remembered... as someone... who did the right thing...
Technodroid the Destroyer:
Ha! You have the power of the creator inside you, and you choose to waste it on that?
Detective Stareye:
You made your choice, it seems... This is mine!
Stareye stands back up. The two of them glare at each other. Then, white and orange electricity comes out of their hands and shocks both of them. A shockwave erupts from their hands, causing both of them to fly backwards. Technodroid's bladeclaw exits Stareye's body, and both of them fall to the ground on their backs. They lean up, and shake their hands. They realize something...
Detective Stareye:
Just like before...
Technodroid the Destroyer:
I was right. We were destined to be enemies, Star.
Both of them get back to their feet. Stareye's eyes glow, and his stab wound heals up. Technodroid's eyes glow orange, and he extends his arms towards Slickshot and Redeye. Their bodies glow orange. Slickshot's eradicator goes back inside his body, and Redeye's plungers go back down. Redeye's body transforms again. The two of them get back to their feet, and face Stareye.
Detective Stareye:
Oh, come on...
Redeye's eyes turn red, and he starts walking towards Stareye. He creates two clones, then four, then six. The sixth clone flies up into the air, and curls up into a ball. His body turns into fire, and flies towards Stareye. Stareye tries to run, but the clone lands on the ground and causes an explosion. The force from the impact hits Stareye, and he flies across the ground. He lands on his abdomen on the ground. He looks up, and sees that he is surrounded by Redeye's clones. They formed a circle around him. Behind him, orange fire comes out of the ground and transforms into Technodroid. His eyes are orange. He swings an arm forward, and stabs Stareye in the back with his wrist bladeclaw! Stareye falls to his knees. In front of him, mud comes out of the ground and transforms into Slickshot. Next to him, Redeye walks past his clones and enters the circle. A huge scowl is on his face, and he is bearing his teeth.
General Redeye the Multiplyer:
You're gonna pay for that!
5.3. Embercore vs. Wrathenus, Eviscera, and Icecore.
In the Control Room, Embercore is surrounded by Wrathenus, Eviscera, and Icecore. She is still encased in ice. Her eyes glow red, but then they turn green. She gets a headache. Wrathenus' eyes are green too.
Wrathenus the Enchantress:
My powers have increased since our last meeting. I have you to thank for that. While you were under containment, I absorbed your powers.
Embercore glares at her. Wrathenus smiles.
Wrathenus the Enchantress:
Just one step closer to taking what it rightfully mine.
Embercore closes her eyes. The ice encasing her starts to break. Wrathenus' eyes turn blue, and she extends her hand out. The ice holding Embercore shatters, and Embercore frees herself! However, she falls back to her hands and knees. She is still poisoned. Wrathenus' eyes are green, and her hand is glowing green as well.
Wrathenus the Enchantress:
Oh no, you don't!
She kicks Ember in the abdomen. Embercore rolls onto her back. Wrathenus extends her hand out, and her eyes glow green. A green knife bladeclaw forms in her hand. She gets on top of Embercore, and swings her bladeclaw down. Embercore grabs Wrathenus' arms, and tries to keep the blade away from her. An insane smile forms on Wrathenus' face.
Wrathenus the Enchantress:
You're not going anywhere!
Embercore begins to struggle to keep the blade at bay. Then, here eyes turn red.
Embercore the Oracle:
Eruc... em!
Embercore's body glows red. Wrathenus' eyes widen, and her smile disappears. Embercore's body explodes into flames. Wrathenus is knocked backwards, and falls onto her back. Eviscera, and Icecore, run up to her. She leans up, and the three of them see the flames transform back into Embercore. Her arms, and fists, are raised. Wrathenus gets back on her feet.
Embercore the Oracle:
Don't do this. Let me help you.
Wrathenus bears her teeth, and points her finger at Embercore.
Wrathenus the Enchantress:
I'm DONE listening to you! I can't stand to even look at you! I want you gone PERMANENTLY!
Embercore looks heartbroken, but she maintains her focus. Wrathenus grabs her hood, and puts it back on. Her eyes glow green, and so do Eviscera's and Icecore's. Eviscera flies towards Embercore. She raises her arm up, and her eyes turn pink. Pink wind appears in her hand, and it transforms into a spear bladeclaw. She throws it forward. Embercore moves to her left, and dodges the bladeclaw. Eviscera kicks Embercore in the abdomen, and pins her to the ground.
Eviscera the Siren:
You and I still have unfinished business. Here's a song I made just for you.
Eviscera's eyes turn pink, and she opens her mouth. A screech leaves her mouth, and hits Embercore right in the head. Cuts begin to appear on Embercore's head, and fire comes out of them. Embercore tries to punch Eviscera, but Eviscera uses her super-speed to dodge Embercore's strike. She runs to the left, and then runs back. She uses all of her strength to kick Embercore in the head. Embercore flies forward. A blue tentacle grabs Embercore around her waist. It's one of Wrathenus' hair tentacles. Her hair has turned into tentacles. The tentacle throws Embercore against the right side of the wall, and then against the left side of the wall. Afterwards, the tentacle lifts Embercore above Wrathenus. A green tentacle reaches up, and wraps around Embercore's head. It starts to squeeze Embercore's head! Embercore grabs the tentacle, but two more tentacles grab her arms and stretch them out. Wrathenus smiles.
Embercore the Oracle:
Pir... rednusa!
Wrathenus' tentacles glow red, and then they are torn apart! Wrathenus' winces, and retracts her tentacles. Embercore stays in the air. She looks at Wrathenus. Her eyes turn red, and she extends a hand forward. Eviscera stabs Embercore in the back with a spear bladeclaw! She uses all of her weight to shove Embercore down to the ground. Embercore is impaled to the ground on her abdomen! Embercore tries to get up, but then she starts to feel cold and starts to shiver. Someone walks in front of her. She looks up, and sees Icecore standing above her. The same cold expression is on her face. Her eyes glow white, and she grabs Embercore's head with both of her hands. Embercore's eyes glow white, and she starts to scream! Her body begins to shrivel up.
Icecore the Teleporter:
You deserve a lot worse than this, Ember.
Embercore raises her left hand, and tries to grab Icecore. Eviscera flies up to Embercore.
Eviscera the Siren:
I concur.
A sword bladeclaw is in her hands. She swings it, and cuts off Embercore's lower left arm! Embercore screams, but her voice starts to fade as her body starts to become lifeless. Wrathenus raises her arms, and begins to laugh.
Wrathenus the Enchantress:
Behold, my lovely ladies! This is the end of the false queen of Synervia. The false king is next.
Embercore's eyes widen. Wrathenus walks up to Embercore, and kneels down towards her. A smile forms on her face.
Wrathenus the Enchantress:
He will be my plaything to do with as I please.
She licks Embercore's cheek. She stands back up.
Wrathenus the Enchantress:
Now, your real queen will take the thrown and Synervia will be ours.
She turns to Eviscera. Eviscera nods her head. She grabs her sword bladeclaw with both hands, and flies towards Embercore. Embercore's eyes turn red. Eviscera swings her weapon, and cuts off Embercore's head! Wrathenus' eyes widen. and her smile grows larger on her face. Icecore holds Embercore's head in her hands.
Icecore the Teleporter:
And you told me that putting people to slumber wouldn't solve anything.
Then, Embercore's head turns into flames. They burn Icecore's hand, and she drops it. Embercore's body turns into flames as well. The two flames reunite, and melt the spear bladeclaw that once impaled her. The flames take the form of Embercore, but her body is still made out of flames. Icecore walks back to get away from the flames. Eviscera, who is still in the air, is starting to get a sense of deja vu.
Eviscera the Siren:
Here we go again...
Wrathenus the Enchantress:
No, we are not!
Wrathenus stretches a hand out, and her eyess turn green. Embercore's body returns to normal, and her eyes turn green again. Her body gets covered in ice, and she is frozen in place. Wrathenus clenches her hand into a fist, and Embercore's frozen body explodes into pieces!
Wrathenus the Enchantress:
She will be put to slumber by any means necessary!
The ice shards turn red, and transform into flames. Then, the flames disappear. Wrathenus is shocked, She looks around. Behind her, flames come out of the ground and transform into Embercore. She wraps one arm around Wrathenus' neck, and she grabs Wrathenus' head with her other arm. Her eyes turn red, and so do Wrathenus'.
Embercore the Oracle:
Nruter tahw ev'uoy nelots!
Wrathenus begins to yell as red fire comes out of her eyes, and go into Embercore's. Icecore, and Eviscera, grab Embercore and try to force her off of Wrathenus. Eviscera grabs Embercore's hand that is on Wrathenus' head, and Icecore grabs Embercore's arm that is around Wrathenus' neck. Eviscera's eyes turn pink, and she lets out a screech towards Embercore. Scratches appear on her face. Icecore's eyes turn white, and Embercore's arm that Icecore grabbed starts to shrivel up. Embercore does her best to maintain her grip on Wrathenus. Then, an explosion happens! A psychic blast from Embercore forces Wrathenus, Eviscera, and Icecore to hit the floor. Embercore clenches her fists, and her eyes blaze in red fire. She turns to Wrathenus.
Embercore the Oracle:
Let this be a lesson to you all: Don't take anything that doesn't belong to you.
Wrathenus, Eviscera, and Icecore get back to their feet.
Wrathenus the Enchantress:
This changes nothing! You will meet your end on The Conqueror.
Eviscera walks over to Icecore, and whispers something in her ear:
Eviscera the Siren:
I have an idea...
Wrathenus' eyes turn green, and a green knife bladeclaw attached to a whip strangler forms in her hands. She throws the bladeclaw at Embercore. Embercore bends her head to her right, and the weapon hits the wall behind her. Wrathenus pulls the whip strangler back, and the bladeclaw pulls a chunk of the wall off. The weapon and wall piece come back, and are about to hit Embercore in the back. Embercore flips over the broken wall piece, and lands back on the ground. The broken part of the wall glows green and disappears into smoke, freeing the bladeclaw. The hole in the wall behind Embercore turns green, and repairs itself. Embercore flies towards Wrathenus, but Eviscera flies in front of her. A spear bladeclaw is in her hand. She thrusts it forward. Embercore ducks backwards, and grabs the shaft of the bladeclaw with her legs. She flips over, and causes Eviscera to be thrown forward. Embercore continues to fly towards Wrathenus. On her left, Eviscera runs up to Embercore and punches her in the face. Eviscera stops, and runs back towards Embercore. Embercore stops moving, and her eyes turn red. A white portal appears in front of Eviscera, and she runs inside of it. Embercore is confused. Behind her, another portal appears. Eviscera runs out of it. She extends her arm out, showing her wing. The feathers are bladeclawss. She swings her arm forward, and her wing cuts off Embercore's head! Embercore's severed head, and body, transform into flames. The flames rush towards Eviscera. Eviscera's eyes turn pink, and she blows wind from her mouth. The wind blows the flames away from her.
Eviscera the Siren:
I'm not falling for that trick again!
The flames materialize back into Embercore. Eviscera swings her wing forward, and three bladeclaws fly off of it and fly towards Embercore. Embercore flips backwards three times, and the three blades hit the ground instead. Eviscera, with glowing pink eyes, flies up to Embercore and tries to kick her. Embercore blocks the kick by raising both of her arms up. A portal appears on Eviscera's right. She shoves her other leg through it. Another portal appears on Embercore's left side. Eviscera's foot appears through it, and kicks Embercore in the head. The portals disappear, and Eviscera flips to her right and lands on the ground. Embercore feels fire coming out of her head. She touches her face, and feels three scratches. There are spikes on the bottom of Eviscera's boot that kicked her. They turn into wind, and disappear. An evil smile forms on Eviscera's face. A green whip strangler wraps around Embercore's neck. Wrathenus pulls the whip back, pulling Embercore towards her. Wrathenus swings an arm forward, and clotheslines Embercore! Embercore hits the ground on her back. Wrathenus extends her hand out, and her eyes turn green. Embercore's eyes turn green, and her body freezes in place. She levitates off of the ground, and is rotated to be vertical. Her body is forced to turn around to face Wrathenus. A portal comes from underneath Embercore and teleports her lower torso away. A second portal appears beneath her, on her left. Her legs appear through it. Icecore's eyes are white, and her hands are extending outward. She closes her hands. The two portals shrink, and Embercore's body is cut in half! Embercore screams. Before she can heal, her upper torso is shoved against the wall.
Wrathenus the Enchantress:
Rip her to pieces!
Eviscera's runs to Wrathenus' side. Her eyes turn pink, and she raises her arms up. A tornado comes out of the ground, and hits Embercore's upper torso. The wind begins to rip Embercore apart! Then, her eyes turn red.
Embercore the Oracle (Telepathically):
Tilps.
Embercore's upper torso turns into the yellow Embercore.
Wrathenus the Enchantress:
Oh no...
On the ground, her lower torso transforms into the red Embercore. The red Embercore puts her hands on the ground, and her eyes glow red.
Embercore the Oracle (Red):
Dloh meht!
A red psychic ball emits from her eyes, and starts to surround the room. Wrathenus and Eviscera stop attacking the yellow Embercore. Eviscera, and Icecore, run behind Wrathenus. She extends her hands out, and her eyes turn green. A green psychic ball surrounds her, Eviscera, and Icecore. It protects them from Embercore's psychic ball, and causes it to break. The red Embercore runs up to the group. Wrathenus extends a hand towards her. The red Embercore's eyes turn red, and her body turns into flames. The flames disappear into smoke. Wrathenus turns around and extends a hand behind her, expecting to see the red Embercore. She's not there. Underneath them, the floor in their psychic ball glows red. The three women inside it feel heat coming from underneath the ground. The ground underneath them explodes! The three women are forced onto the ground. Wrathenus' psychic ball disappears, and the yellow Embercore is freed from Wrathenus' control. The yellow Embercore flies towards the red one, and they combine to form the original Embercore. Her hair turns into tentacles, and they grab Wrathenus and Icecore.
Eviscera manages to get into the air. She grabs a feather. Her eyes turn pink, and the feather transforms into a spear bladeclaw. At the bottom of it, the shaft splits in two. A string is in between the two points. It's a sonic spear bladeclaw! Eviscera plucks the string, and sonic waves emerge from it. One wave hits Embercore, and two more waves cut off the tentacles that are holding Wrathenus and Icecore. Eviscera throws her bladeclaw at Embercore. Embercore's eyes glow red. She leans backwards, and catches it with her palms. Fire comes out of her hands, and melts the bladeclaw. Eviscera's eyes glow pink, and she flies towards Embercore. She extends her leg forward in order to kick her. On the bottom of her boot, wind appears and transforms into an ice heel. Embercore crosses her arms, and blocks Eviscera's boot from hitting her.
Embercore the Oracle:
I hate to say it, but you've improved since our last encounter.
Eviscera the Siren:
Slick and I wanted to make sure you, and Star, would not humiliate us again. It was a powerful motivator.
Embercore the Oracle:
I understand.
Embercore's eyes turn red. Her legs transform into a tail. It grabs Eviscera around the waist, and shoves her to the left. The tail lets go of Eviscera, and she is thrown against the wall. Embercore turns her attention to the location of Wrathenus, and Icecore. Both of them are gone. Above her, Wrathenus is slithering on the ceiling. Her lower torso is a tail. Her upper body leans down, and she stretches her arms towards Embercore. Her eyes glow green, and green smoke shoots out. of her hands. Embercore turns her head around, and looks up. She sees the green smoke take the form of a green Octo-Serpent, Embercore's body turns around, and her eyes turn red. She lifts her arms up, and red fire comes out of them. The flames take the form of a red Octo-Serpent. The two elemental serpents collide, and explode! A white cloud of smoke is created from the aftermath. Wrathenus bursts through the cloud, and catches Embercore! She opens her mouth, and exposes her fangs. She bites down on Embercore's neck. Her eyes glow green, and she injects poison into Embercore's body. Embercore's eyes, and body, turn green. She closes her eyes.
Embercore the Oracle:
Esrever stceffe.
She reopens her eyes, and now they're red. Her body glows red, and returns to normal. Wrathenus' eyes turn red, and her body follows suit. She is now poisoned! She lets go of Embercore's neck. Embercore elbows her in the head, and her tail hits her in the abdomen. Wrathenus is forced backwards, and falls to the ground on her back. Behind Embercore, a portal appears. Icecore's hand appears through it, but it's not close enough to grab Embercore. Her fingers grow longer, and grab the back of Embercore's head. Embercore's eyes turn white. She yells as her head starts to shrivel up. She forces her head free, and Icecore's hand retreats into the portal. Embercore swings an arm backwards, and swipes the portal away. The portal turns into mist, and disappears. She turns around, and looks for Icecore. Her eyes glow red, and her head heals up. Embercore senses Icecore's consciousness originating from behind. She turns around, and reaches outward. She grabs something, but it's invisible. Icecore appears. Embercore has her by the hair, and her right arm. Icecore shoves her left hand forward, but Embercore leans her head back. Icecore's fingers stretch out, and grab Embercore's head again. Embercore yells out in pain. Her eyes glow red again.
Embercore the Oracle:
Erutpac!
Icecore's hands glow red. Icecore's eyes glow white, and her arms detach from her body. Afterwards, she disappears again. Wrathenus stands back up on her tail. Her eyes glow green.
Wrathenus the Enchantress:
Eruc!
Her body glows green, and returns to normal. Embercore's attention returns to Wrathenus. Behind her, Icecore reappears again. She is far away though. Her eyes glow white, and she stretches her arms forward. Her arm become elongated, and they grab Embercore by the back of the head again. Embercore's eyes glow white, and her body starts to get covered in ice. She starts to see images of Icecore getting beaten up by her former friends. Everytime Icecore gets hit in the flashback, a wound appears on Embercore's body!
Icecore the Teleporter:
Now, you will see and feel everything that I went through.
Embercore's body begins to shrivel up as well.
Wrathenus the Enchantress:
Keep her steady, Ice!
Wrathenus' eyes turn green, and she extends her hand out. Green smoke appears in it, and transforms into a knife bladeclaw. She slithers over to Embercore. Embercore closes her eyes.
Embercore the Oracle:
Erotser... dna... eruces.
She opens her eyes, and they're red again. A psychic blast is emitted from her head. The ice containing her body melts away. Icecore tries to detach her arms again, but the psychic blast engulfs her whole body before she is able too. She is frozen in place, and her eyes and body are glowing red. Wrathenus stops, and she extends a hand forward. Her eyes glow green.
Wrathenus the Enchantress:
Kcolb!
A green psychic ball covers Wrathenus' body, and protects her from Embercore's psychic blast. Above them, Eviscera sees the psychic blast extending towards her. She flies down, and lands behind Wrathenus. Wrathenus' psychic ball engulfs her, and protects her. She does this before the psychic blast engulfs the whole room. Embercore swings an arm behind her, causing Icecore's arms to break into pieces of ice. The ice shards catch fire, and melt away. Icecore's eyes turn white, and she tries to disappear. Embercore flies up to her, and elbows her in the head. Icecore falls to the ground.
Embercore the Oracle:
I'm sorry for what you went through, but I cannot let you hurt anyone else.
Wrathenus the Enchantress:
Etacidare!
Wrathenus's psychic ball explodes, causing Embercore's psychic blast to disappear. The room returns to normal. Eviscera jumps into the air, and flies towards Embercore. Her eyes turn pink, and she lets out a screech from her mouth. Embercore lifts up a hand, and her eyes turn red.
Embercore the Oracle:
Esrever.
Her raised hand glows red. The sonic waves from the screech hit her hand, and then glow red. They fly back towards Eviscera. Eviscera's eyes widen in surprise. She flies around the sonic waves. A look of relief forms on Embercore's face.
Embercore the Oracle:
Finally! That was so annoying.
Eviscera the Siren:
You dare to use my own voice against me!?
Embercore the Oracle:
My apologies. I'll use my own.
Embercore's eyes glow red.
Embercore the Oracle:
Raeh ym eciov.
Embercore opens her mouth, and she lets out a loud screech aimed at Eviscera. Eviscera's eyes widen in surprise. She flies down, and evades the sound waves of Embercore's screech. The sound waves hit the wall behind Eviscera, and cause a dent in it. The dent glows green, and then disappears. Eviscera swings her arms forward. Bladeclaws from her wings detach, and fly towards Embercore. Embercore smiles. She goes down on her hands and knees, and her eyes turn red. She whispers something to the ground.
Embercore the Oracle:
Dnuorg reh.
Embercore roles across the ground, dodging the bladeclaws. They hit the ground. Underneath Eviscera, the ground glows red. The ground becomes liquid, and turns into a hand! It reaches up into the air, and catches Eviscera. The hand goes back down to the ground, and sticks Eviscera to the floor. Embercore turns around to face Wrathenus. She is stabbed in the chest by Wrathenus' knife bladeclaw! Embercore gasps. Just like Technodroid stabbing Stareye, Embercore is weakened. A smile forms across Wrathenus' face.
Wrathenus the Enchantress:
Finally... Finally!
She extends a hand out behind Embercore. Both Eviscera's, and Icecore's, bodies glow green. The floor encasing Eviscera releases its grip on her, and returns to normal. Eviscera is freed. Icecore can move again, and she gets back to her feet. Wrathenus removes her bladeclaw from Embercore's chest, and kicks her in the abdomen. Embercore falls backwards. The three women surround her.
Wrathenus the Enchantress:
A valiant effort, old friend, but I told you that you will meet your end here. I intend to make good on that promise.
5.4. Star-Core.
In the arena, Stareye is getting beaten up by Redeye and his clones. His body is filled with injuries from the punches. The original Redeye punches Stareye in the head. He breaks Stareye's jaw on the left side, and it hangs from Stareye's head on the right side. The blow forces Stareye to turn around. Slickshot is waiting for him. His hand is in the form of an axe bladeclaw. He swings his arm forward, and hits Stareye in the head with his bladeclaw! A huge gash forms on Stareye's head, and water pours out of it. Stareye struggles to stay on his feet. Technodroid walks between Slickshot and Redeye, and goes up to Stareye. A wrist bladeclaw is on his arm. He swings his arm forward, and stabs Stareye in the chest with it. Stareye gasps, and falls to his hands and knees. Technodroid's eyes glow orange, and he raises his other arm. Orange fire appears on his arm, and transforms into a wrist eradicator. The eradicator fires a fireball at Stareye. The fireball hits him, and sends him flying backward. He hits the ground, and can barely move. The stab wound in his chest is glowing orange. Technodroid, Slickshot, and Redeye walk up to him.
Technodroid the Destroyer:
Behold, gentlemen! This is the end of Stareye.
Wrathenus the Oracle:
And Embercore.
Everyone in the arena turn around. Wrathenus, Eviscera, and Icecore are hovering in the air. Wrathenus is holding onto Embercore by the throat. She throws her forward, and Embercore hits the ground next to Stareye. Her body is shriveled up, and the stab wound in her chest is glowing green. None of those two are moving. The three women fly down to the ground. Wrathenus goes up to Technodroid, Eviscera flies up to Slickshot, and Icecore goes up to Redeye. Technodroid leans down, and touches Embercore's head. Her body glows orange, and then returns to normal.
Technodroid the Destroyer:
No healing for you, Ember.
Technodroid leans back up, and wraps his arms around Wrathenus. A smile is on her face.
Wrathenus the Enchantress:
I've waited sooo long for this moment.
Technodroid the Destroyer:
We're not done yet, my love. We still need to put them to slumber.
Wrathenus turns her head to him.
Wrathenus the Enchantress:
I have an idea.
Her eyes glow green, and so do Technodroid's. Then, they return to normal.
Technodroid the Destroyer:
Good idea.
Technodroid's eyes turn orange. His helmet turns into fire, and disappears. Wrathenus turns around, and they kiss each other on the lips. Their eyes open. Their right eyes are orange, and their left eyes are green. Their bodies glow white, and then merge together. A new person is created. They are wearing white and purple armor. Stareye, and Embercore, manage to look up. They see this new person looking down at them.
Embercore the Oracle:
T-T-They... m-merged...
Techno-Wrath:
My name is Techno-Wrath, and I am your destruction.
It raises both of its arms. Its eyes glow. An orange fire forms in its right hand, and purple water forms in its left hand. Somehow, Stareye gets on his feet and walks in front of Embercore. He is also directly in front of Techno-Wrath's aim. His previous wounds haven't healed yet. Techno-Wrath laughs.
Techno-Wrath:
You truly are a fool, Star. It's over! Just let it happen.
Embercore rolls onto her chest. She desperately grabs Stareye's left leg.
Embercore the Oracle:
Star...
Stareye doesn't move. Embercore can see the determination on Stareye's face. They, their eyes turn white.
Detective Stareye (Telepathically):
I love you, Ember.
Embercore's eyes widen. Then, and idea forms in her head. A look of determination forms on her face.
Techno-Wrath:
So be it. Have it your way.
Techno-Wrath fires its fire, and water, beams. The two streams wrap around each other, and become a single stream of fire and water. Stareye doesn't move. Embercore grabs Stareye's left knee pad, and pushes herself upwards with her feet. She wraps her arms around Stareye's neck, and kisses him on the right side of his mouth. They open their eyes. Their right eyes are white, and their left eyes are red. Techno-Wrath's beam hits the two of them, but a white and red ball of energy protects them from the beam. Techno-Wrath's eyes widen.
Techno-Wrath:
Oh no...
Stareye's, and Embercore's, bodies heal. Then, they both glow white. The white and red ball of energy explodes! Techno-Wrath's eyes glow, and a orange and green ball of energy surrounds it and the other SLF members. The white and red ball of energy disappears. Techno-Wrath's eyes stop glowing, and the orange and green ball of energy disappears as well. The SLF members look forward, and see a new person hovering off of the ground. It has black and yellow armor on, and is looking at them with a scowl on its face. Its right eye is white, and the left eye is red.
Techno-Wrath:
They did the Spirit-Soul Merge as well...
Star-Core:
My name is Star-Core, the guardian of Synervia. I’ve tried to reach you all, but you have refused to listen to me. Now, my objectives have changed: Defeat the SLF, and get off this accursed transporter.
Star-Core's eyes glow. Its right eye glows white, and its left eye glows red. A water and fire beam shoot from each eye, and wrap around each other. They connect, and turn into a singular beam. The beam flies towards Techno-Wrath. Techno-Wrath raises its hand, and it blocks the beam. However, the beam forces Techo-Wrath to be forced backwards. Techno-Core uses both of its hands to block the beam, but the force from the beam continues to send them backwards. The other members of the SLF move out of the way. Techno-Wrath realizes that their plan isn't working. Their eyes glow green, and a green shield emits from their hands. The shield stops the beam for the moment, but the shield begins to crack. Techno-Wrath flies up into the air, and then the shield breaks. Star-Core stops firing the beam, and flies up to Techno-Wrath. They crank a fist back, and punch Techno-Wrath in the head! Techno-Wrath's head is forced backwards. The other members of the SLF don't know what to do. Techno-Wrath regains its composure, and swings a fist at Star-Core's head! Star-Core's head is turned to the left, but they turn their head back to the front. Techno-Wrath is annoyed.
Star-Core:
We're evenly-matched now.
Star-Core raises their fists. Their eyes glow, and so do their fists. The right one glows white, and the left one glows red. Below them, Slickshot turns to Eviscera.
Slickshot the Tracker:
Evi, just in case Tech and Wrath need backup-
Eviscera the Siren:
Do you think they'll need it?
Slickshot the Tracker:
I'm not taking any chances. We have to make sure Star and Ember don't escape.
Eviscera nods her head.
Eviscera the Siren:
Okay.
Slickshot, and Eviscera, kiss each other. Their bodies glow, and they transform into Evi-Shot. Their body is green, and white. They fly up towards Star-Core. Redeye, and Icecore, turn to each other. Then, they look away.
Icecore the Teleporter:
Nope.
General Redeye the Multiplyer:
Not gonna happen.
In the air, Star-Core flies towards Techno-Wrath, and raises its right fist. A lava hook-and-rope strangler wraps around its arm, and stops them from moving. They look down, and see Evi-Shot. Their right arm is the lava strangler. Techno-Wrath punches Star-Core in the head, and they land on the ground. Redeye's clones run up to them, and grab them. They try to hold Star-Core down, but Star-Core's eyes glow white. A white ice blast emits from Star-Core's eyes, and forces Redeye's clones off him them! The lava stranger around Star-Core's right arm freezes as well. Evi-Shot rips its arm in half in order to prevent its own arm from freezing entirely. Its arm heals up, and returns to normal. The Redeye clones get covered in ice. They fall to the ground, and break into shards. The original Redeye is shocked to see his clones get defeated so easily. He turns to Star-Core, who gets back to their feet. They rip off the frozen lava stranger, and it breaks into pieces. Then, Star-Core looks at Redeye.
Star-Core:
We are not going through that again.
Behind Star-Core, Icecore tries to sneak up on them. She reaches out to grab Star-Core, but Star-Core's eyes glow red. A red ball of fire appears around Star-Core, and burns Icecore's hands. She backs down.
Star-Core:
Or that.
The sound of an eradicator going off is heard. A mudrock flies towards Star-Core. Star-Core catches the rock with two fingers, and snaps it into pieces. They turn to the location from where the mudrock came from, but they don't see Evi-Shot. Behind then, Evi-Shot uses their super speed to run up to Star-Core. Star-Core goes down on their hands and knees, and their eyes glow red.
Star-Core:
Eudbus.
A red psychic blast emits from Star-Core's eyes. Evi-Shot is frozen in place, and so are Redeye and Icecore! The psychic blast goes upward, towards Techno-Wrath. Techno-Wrath's eyes glow green, and they stretch their hands out. Before they could do anything, Star-Core flies up and grabs them around their waist. They continue to fly upwards.
Star-Core:
Nepo.
A hole appears in the green force field surrounding the arena. Star-Core forces Techno-Wrath, and themselves, through the opening. They crash into the wall, and appear in a new room. The two of them lannd on the floor. They are in the Control Room again. Star-Core, and Techno-Wrath, get to their feet. Techno-Wrath is facing Star-Core. Techno-Wrath's eyes glow, and they return back to Technodroid and Wrathenus. Star-Core's eyes glow, and they transform back into Stareye and Embercore. Stareye and Technodroid glare at each other, and so do Embercore and Wrathenus.
5.5. Stareye vs. Technodroid, and Embercore vs. Wrathenus.
Stareye and Technodroid fly towards each other, and Embercore flies towards Wrathenus! Technodroid throws a flurry of punches at Stareye, but Stareye blocks them with his arms. Stareye manages to catch both of Technodroid's fists.
Detective Stareye:
I would've done anything to help you, and Wrath!
Technodroid the Destroyer:
I know! You are such a hero, Star. If you still want to do me a favor, then stand still and let me end you.
Technodroid head-butts Stareye in the head, and knees him in the abdomen! He grabs Stareye, and puts him on his shoulders. Stareye clamps down on Technodroid's head with his legs, and rolls backwards. He flips Technodroid forward, but Technodroid manages to land on his feet. His eyes turn orange, and a lightning bolt forms in his hands. Stareye has his back turned to Technodroid. His eyes turn white, and an ice ball forms in his hand. Technodroid fires the lightning bolt at him. Stareye turns around, and throws his ice ball at Technodroid. The lightning bolt and snowball make contact, and cause an explosion! Technodroid leaps through the mist at Stareye, and swings a fist at him. Stareye moves out of the way, and grabs Technodroid's arm. He swings Technodroid to the left side of the room, and flies after him.
On the right side of the room, Embercore swings a fist at Wrathenus. Wrathenus blocks it with an arm, and her eyes glow blue. She opens her mouth, and ice breath shoots out of it. Embercore leans backwards, and avoids the ice breath. Her eyes glow red. She leans back up, and shoots fire beams out of her eyes. Wrathenus extends a hand forward, and an ice shield forms from her hand. The shield blocks the fire beams. She runs forward, and extends a foot forward. She tries to kick Embercore, but Embercore's body turns into flames and disappears. Wrathenus stops, and turns around. Flames materialize, and transform back into Embercore. Wrathenus turns around, and her eyes glow green. She leans down, and puts her hand on the floor. The floor under Embercore glows green. It turns into a hand, and tries to grab Embercore. Embercore's eyes glow red, and a psychic ball forms around her. The balls explodes into flames, and melts the hand. The hand retreats into the floor, and the floor returns to normal. Wrathenus flies up to Embercore, and swings a fist at her. Embercore catches it. Wrathenus leans down, and tries. to sweep Embercore's feet. Embercore jumps, and misses Wrathenus' sweep. She leans backwards, and drags Wrathenus with her. She puts her feet on Wrathenus' abdomen, and flips her backwards. She rolls over, and flies up to her.
Below them, Stareye flies up to Technodroid and punches him in the head. Technodroid doesn't feel anything. Stareye swings another fist at him, but Technodroid catches it. He swings Stareye to the left, and Stareye hits the wall. Stareye falls to the ground. Technodroid's eyes turn orange, and his wrist bladeclaw appears. He swings it downward. Stareye's eyes turn white, and his body dissolves into mist. Technodroid's bladeclaw goes throw the mist, and hits the ground. Stareye's body rematerializes, and he kicks Technodroid's bladwclaw. The bladeclaw snaps in half! Technodroid grabs Stareye by the throat, and throws him up against the wall. He drags him across the wall, and then throws him into the middle of the room. Stareye lands on the ground.
In the air, Wrathenus' eyes turn green. Her hair turns into tentacles. One of them reaches out to Embercore, and grabs her by the waist. The tentacle shoves Embercore against the roof. Embercore's eyes turn red, and her hair also turns into tentacles. One of them grabs Wrathenus by the head, and pulls her towards Embercore. Embercore raises a knee, and knees her in the head. Wrathenus' head flies backwards. She grabs Wrathenus' tentacle that is around her waist, and snaps off the part that is around her. She throws it off of her, and it turns into water. Embercore grabs Wrathenus by the shoulders, and pulls her forward. She turns her around, and puts her in a chokehold.
Embercore the Oracle:
Is there anything that I can do to get you to stop!?
Wrathenus the Enchantress:
Shut up... and let me put you... to slumber!
Wrathenus's eyes glow white, and her legs transform into a tail. The tail goes behind Embercore, reaches up, and grabs Embercore by the head. Her tail shoves Embercore's head forward, and into the wall. Embercore loses her grip on Wrathenus. Wrathenus grabs one of Embercore's tentacles, and swings Embercore downwards. Embercore lands in front of Stareye on the ground. Her hair returns to normal. Technodroid runs up to them. He clotheslines Embercore first, and then Stareye! Technodroid turns around, and grabs Stareye by his hat. He lifts him up. He raises his other arm, and his eyes glow orange. The remnant of his wrist bladeclaw turns into fire, and repairs itself! Embercore sends a psychic blast towards Technodroid. Technodroid drops Stareye and swings his body to his right, dodging the psychic blast. Embercore flies up to him, and tries to punch him. Technodroid dodges her fist, and grabs her arm. His eyes glow orange, and so does Embercore's whole body. Afterwards, Embercore's body stops glowing and Technodroid lets her go. Embercore grabs her arm, and looks at Technodroid.
Embercore the Oracle:
What did you do to me?
Technodroid just stands still. Embercore's eyes glow red, and she tries to do a psychic attack on Technodroid. Her eyes glow orange, and she gets a headache. She closes her eyes, and clamps her hands on her head. Technodroid laughs a bit.
Technodroid the Destroyer:
No more magic for you, Ember. Don't worry. My lovely mate will put you out of your misery.
Embercore turns around. Wrathenus' tail grabs her around her arms and waist, and pulls her back towards her. Technodroid looks down. Stareye's eyes turn white, and so does his hand. He swings upwards, and grabs Technodroid's head. Technodroid's eyes glow orange, and his hand does as well. He grabs Stareye's head too. Technodroid's eyes begin to glow white, and half of his face becomes black and covered in ice veins! Stareye's eyes glow orange, and half of his face becomes orange and starts to melt! Both men yell as their powers inflict pain upon the other. An explosion erupts from them again! Both of them fall down, and their wounds heal up. They both lean up, and make eye contact with each other. They maintain eye contact as they slowly get up from the floor.
Technodroid the. Destroyer:
This is why you must be put to slumber, Star. You're the only one that can defeat me, and I cannot allow that.
Stareye gets to his hands and knees.
Detective Stareye:
If that is my purpose, then so be it... Unless you surrender?
Technodroid laughs, and stretches out his arms.
Technodroid the Destroyer:
Where's the fun in that, Detective?
Detective Stareye:
So be it, Destroyer.
Stareye's eyes turn white, and so do his hands. He flies up to Technodroid. Technodroid's eyes turn orange, and so do his fists. Stareye gets closer to Technodroid, and then his body turns into water. The water seeps into the floor, and disappears. Technodroid looks around, but Stareye doesn't appear. Underneath him, ice comes out of the ground and traps him! On the right side of the roof, Wrathenus brings Embercore up to her. Embercore's eyes turn red, but then they turn orange again. She can't use her magic. Wrathenus smiles.
Wrathenus the Enchantress:
Don't worry, Oracle. It will all be over soon.
Wrathenus opens her mouth, and exposes her fangs. Her eyes glow green. Oh her right, water drips from the ceiling and transforms into Stareye! He grabs Wrathenus by the throat, and stops her from bitting Embercore. He touches Embercore's forehead, and her eyes turn white. Her body glows white, and then returns to normal. She closes her eyes, and then reopens them. They're red! Her body turns into flames, and the flames engulf Wrathenus' body! Wrathenus yells in pain. Some of the flames transform back into Embercore.
Embercore the Oracle:
You assumed my end prematurely, Enchantress.
She grabs Wrathenus' tail, and swings her to the ground. Embercore turns to Stareye, and they both smile at each other.
Embercore the Oracle:
Thanks!
Detective Stareye:
No problem!
Suddenly, orange lightning hits the roof, right in between Stareye and Embercore! An explosion occurs. Stareye is knocked back, and falls to the ground. A piece of the roof hits Embercore. Below them, Technodroid's upper body has broken through the ice. His body glows orange, and the remaining ice encasing his legs melts. Embercore grabs the piece of roof debris, and throws it at him. Technodroid raises a fist, and punches through the debris! It shatters to pieces. Stareye flies towards Technodroid. Technodroid leaps backwards, and his eyes glow orange. A fireball forms in his hand. He throws it, and it hits Stareye in the chest! He flies backwards, and hits the wall. Embercore flies up to Technodroid next. Before she can retaliate, Technodroid punnches her in the face. He goes underneath her, and puts her on his shoulders. He power-bombs Embercore to the ground, and she lands on her back. Wrathenus opens her eyes. She sees Technodroid fighting Stareye, and Embercore. Her eyes glow green.
Wrathenus the Enchantress:

Her body glows green, and the flames trapping her disappear. She starts to gets up when she remembers something. She looks up, and sees the hole in the wall that Star-Core shoved Techno-Wrath through. Her eyes turn green, and she raises a hand to her mouth.
Wrathenus the Enchantress:
Eerf meth.
A green smoke ball forms in her hand, and she throws it up to the hole in the wall. The ball goes through the hole, and goes out to the pit. The ball phases through the force field, and lands on the ground in the arena. It explodes, destroying Star-Core's psychic blast and freeing Evi-Shot, Redeye, and Icecore from . Evi-Shot looks up, and sees the hole in the wall of the exterior to the Control Room. They turn to Redeye, and Icecore.
Evi-Shot:
Get to the Control Room!
Back in the Control Room, Wrathenus' eyes glow green and her hair turns back into tentacles. Two tentacles stretch out, and grab Stareye and Embercore off of the floor. the tentacles wrap around their arms, and abdomens. She walks up to them. She turns her attention to Embercore first.
Wrathenus the Enchantress:
It was pretty amusing watching you fret over my "disappearance," Oracle, but I would love to see your reaction to watching your mate be put to slumber right in front of you.
Technodroid walks behind Stareye.
Technodroid the Destroyer:
So would I.
Technodroid raises an arm up to his chest, and his eyes glow orange. His wrist bladeclaw appears. He cranks his arm to his left, and prepares to swing. Stareye's eyes glow white, and so do Embercore's. She closes her eyes, and then reopens them. They are now red. A red psychic blast emits from them, and engulfs the whole room. It catches Wrathenus and Technodroid, and freezes them in place. Wrathenus' two tentacles holding Embercore and Stareye catch flames, and melt away! Embercore and Stareye are free from her clutches. Stareye's eyes are glowing white still. He goes up to Wrathenus, and touches her head. Her eyes glow white, and her body turns black. He turns around, and runs up to Technodroid. His eyes glow white too, and his body turns black. Ice veins appear on his body too. Stareye turns back to Wrathenus. Ice veins begin to appear on her body, but they end up getting absorbed into her body. Stareye notices that she still cannot move because her body is black.
Detective Stareye:
Good enough.
Stareye turns his head. Embercore is looking at the entrance to the room. He runs up to her.
Embercore the Oracle:
Star, where does that lead?
Both of them turn to the entrance.
Detective Stareye:
That leads to an elevator. Below us is a room filled with cells. It's where they kept me. I don't know how to get off this thing.
Stareye looks up at the ceiling.
Detective Stareye:
Unless we have to make a way out?
Embercore looks up at the ceiling as well. Behind them, Technodroid's eyes glow orange. An orange light emits from them. Stareye and Embercore turn around. Stareye gets in front of Embercore, and his eyes turn white. He extends his hand out, and a white ball of light encases him and Embercore. The orange light engulfs the room. Technodroid's and Wrathenus' bodies are freed from Embercore's psychic blast, and their bodies return to normal. Wreathenus' tentacles heal as well. They both glare at Stareye, and Embercore. Embercore and Stareye look tired, but they get into a defensive position. Then, mud, fire, and water come out of the floor next to Technodroid and Wrathenus. They transform into Evi-Shot, Redeye, and Icecore! Embercore looks up at the ceiling. Her eyes glow red, and so does Stareye's. Stareye closes his eyes, and then re-opens them. They are now white. His extends his arm back, and he makes a fist. the fist glows white briefly. Stareye moves his arm forward, and opens his fist. A snowball comes out of hit. It hits the ground, and explodes! The room begins to get covered in ice. Wrathenus extends her arms out, and absorbs the ice from hitting the SLF. Meanwhile, Stareye and Embercore fly upwards, and burst through the ceiling as fast as they can! Debris falls onto the SLF members as Stareye, and Embercore, finally escape The Conqueror!
Inside the Control Room of The Conqueror, the rubble on the floor begins to move. Technodroid's upper torso appears from the debris.
