Hyperdimension Neptunia: Land of the Goddesses: Ep. 2: Lastation.

This is a fan-made story written by me. Hyperdimension Neptunia belongs to Idea Factory, Compile Heart, Tamsoft, and Felistella.
Episode 2: Lastation.
Black Heart: The trio take the Sky Harbor, a transit system that transports people across the four lands, and arrive at Lastation, "The Land of Black Regality," ruled by the goddess Black Heart. 

Neptune: Ooh! It’s very steampunky.
IF: Yeah. Lady Noire has a flair for that kind of thing.

 

They walk towards Black Heart's Basilicom. However, some commotion nearby makes them stop.. 

 

Neptune: What's that?

IF: It sounds like someone's in trouble!

 

The group runs towards the sound and spot a woman, dressed in black with white hair, and has blue wings, fighting a monster..

 

Neptune: Woah! That woman's awesome!

IF: That's Black Heart, and she’s fighting an Ancient Dragon!

Compa: We have to help her!

Neptune: Right. Let's go, gang!

 

The trio run towards Black Heart to help her. Neptune transforms into Purple Heart. The dragon swings its tail at Black Heart. She uses her sword to block the attack. She laughs.

 

Black Heart: Is that all you’ve got?

 

The dragon roars at her in frustration. 

 

Purple Heart: Black Heart!

 

Black Heart turns around and spots the group running towards her.

 

Black Heart: Huh? Hey! Stay back! It's not safe!

 

The dragon blows fire at her from its mouth. Black Heart is hit by the flames, and she starts falling to the ground.

 

Purple Heart: I’ve got you!

 

Purple Heart flies up and catches Black Heart in her arms. Black Heart opens her eyes.

 

Purple Heart: Are you alright?

 

Purple Heart smiles. Black Heart blushes, and hastily gets out of Purple Heart’s arms.

 

Black Heart: W-W-Who are you? You look just like me.
Purple Heart: I’m Purple Heart, goddess of Planeptune.

 

The dragon roars at the four of them.

 

Black Heart: We’ll talk later. First, we have to beat this thing.
Purple Heart: Right.

 

IF takes out two handguns.

 

IF: Compa, go find some cover.
Compa: I can help!

 

Compa takes out a syringe from a pocket in her dress. The syringe grows larger to being almost as large as Compa! 

 

Compa: I’m ready now!

 

The three other women are shocked.

 

IF: I guess that can help...

 

The four women charge at the dragon and fire, or swing, their weapons at the beast simultaneously. The dragon is defeated and disappears, just like the Guard Vermin.

 

Purple Heart: Nice job, team. Now, Lady Black Heart-
Black Heart: I could have handled that if you guys didn’t interrupt me.
Purple Heart: Excuse me?
Black Heart: Secondly, you shouldn’t have brought humans into battle with you. We’re goddesses. We should do this ourselves. Unless… You actually need their help to do your job.

Black Heart laughs.

Purple Heart: First, they’re my friends. If they want to help me, then they should. Second, you act pretty tough now, but you were blushing in my arms a minute go, weren’t you not?

 

Black Heart grits her teeth a bit, but her face turns red a bit.

 

Purple Heart: Third, you needed our help after the dragon fried you to a crisp.

 

Black Heart starts to glare at Purple Heart. 

 

Purple Heart: Fourth, a monster appeared in Planeptune today. IF told me that monsters have appeared in the other three lands as well. The three of us want to help you kill the monsters roaming Lastation. In return, I might need your help with something else. So, can we help each other out? Please?

 

Black Heart looks at the group. She sighs.

 

Black Heart: Okay… We'll talk more at my Basilicom.

 

Black Heart transforms into her human form.

 

Noire: Oh, and you can call me Noire.

 

Purple Heart transforms into Noire.

 

Neptune: I’m Neptune. The other two are Compa and IF.

Noire: Nice to meet you. Follow me please.

 

The group arrives at Noire’s Basilicom, and head to Noire’s office. Neptune explains what happened back on Planeptune.

 

Noire: Histoire’s gone!?

Neptune: Yeah, and I have no idea what happened to her. My Basilicom was ransacked, and there wasn’t a trace of her. It was like she just disappeared. 

Noire: I can’t believe you let that happen! That was so stupid of you!

 

Neptune doesn’t say a word.

 

Neptune: ...That’s what I want you to help me with.

 

Noir sighs.

Noire: Sure. I’ll send some of my guards out to see if they can find her on Lastation. In the meantime-

 

A phone rings. IF takes out a cell phone and checks it. It’s a text message.

 

IF: What!? Guys, look at this.

 

The other three run up to IF.

 

IF: The Guild just announced that they believe to have found a facility that is creating the monsters that are roaming Gameindustri. It’s located on Lastation!
Noire: I’ll tell the guards to look for Histoire. Then, I’ll go out and find the factory.

Neptune: Ahem! Don’t you mean, “We?”
Noire: There’s no way I’m going to let the goddess who let Histoire get taken come along with me. This operation needs to be handled by someone who knows what she’s doing.

Neptune: I’m not going to waste my breath arguing with you, you goth-chick-wannabe-
Noire: Excuse me!?
Neptune: The four of us are going to take down the factory TOGETHER! If you don’t like that, I really don’t care. You don’t know what could be waiting for you at that factory, so it’s best to go there with backup. Unless, you want to get eaten, like that dragon almost did earlier today…

 

Noire gets irritated.

 

IF: With all due respect, Noire, she has a point.

 

Noire has had enough. 

 

Noire: Ugh! Fine! The FOUR of us will head out to the factory, but I’m keeping a close eye on you, Neptune.

 

The Lastation Factory:

The group heads out to an abandoned facility.

 

Purple Heart: Are you sure this is the place? 

Black Heart: I’m sure. I know every inch of my land like the back of my hand.

IF: We should head inside just to make sure.

Black Heart runs up to Purple Heart.

Black Heart: By the way…
Purple Heart: Hmm?
Black Heart: I would have defeated that dragon by myself if you didn’t interfere.

Purple Heart: Ugh… You might be right, but I’m not going to apologize.

Black Heart: Huh? Why not?
Purple Heart: Because I got to see your cute red face when I caught you.

 

Purple Heart giggles. Black Heart’s face turns bright red.

 

Black Heart: J-Just stay out of my way, okay?
Purple Heart: Ugh! I’m here to help!
Black Heart: I don't care. I’ve always worked alone, and I’ve done just fine. It suits me.
Purple Heart: Not me. I was happy to meet IF and Compa back on Planeptune. I’m tired of being alone. 

 

Black Heart turns to Purple Heart.

 

Purple Heart: Plus, I never got to meet you and the other goddesses. We were just placed in our lands, and that was that. I wonder what the other two goddesses are like?

The four of them walk inside the factory. 

 

Compa: Oh well. T-There's nothing here.

 

Suddenly, Compa steps on a secret button on the floor. An elevator appears in front of them. Hesitantly, the group enters the elevator, and it takes them underneath the floor. The elevator opens up into an underground lab. There are monsters and discs in test tubes. 

 

Black Heart: Yeah, this is the place alright.

Compa: I wish it wasn’t. This place is creepy!

 

Suddenly, a man appears through a door at the end of the room. 

 

Mystery Man: W-Who are you, and what are you doing here!?

 

Black Heart: Are you in charge of this place?

 

Mystery Man: Oh no! Lady Black Heart! 

 

The man takes out a controller in his pocket and presses a button on it. The monsters in the test tubes wake up and burst out of the test tubes.

 

Mystery Man: Kill them!

Purple Heart: Should have seen this coming.
IF: They’re Dogoos! Luckily for us, they’re the least dangerous out of all the monsters.

 

The mystery man runs out of the room and presses a switch on the wall in a hallway. The monsters charge the group. They manage to take out the monsters when they hear an alarm go off.

 

Alarm: Warning! Self-destruct switch initiated. Building will implode in five seconds. 

 

Black Heart: He rigged this place to explode!

Purple Heart: We have to get out of here. 

 

Purple Heart grabs Compa and Black Heart grabs IF. They fly out of the building through a window in the ceiling right before the factory explodes! The group heads back to the Basilicom.

 

Noire: Well, that was all for nothing!

 

Neptune: Maybe, but fighting those monsters was kind of fun. You were pretty awesome back there. Noire. Naturally! ...We should work together more often…

 

Neptune forms a smug smile on her face.

Neptune: What was that? I didn’t hear you.

 

Noire frowns.

 

Noire: ...We should work together more often.

Neptune: Ha! Told ya! I think we should be friends.

 

Noire perks up a bit, but she tries to hide her enthusiasm with a serious face.

Noire: Friends…?

 

A guard enters the room.

 

Guard: Lady Black Heart. I regret to inform you that we haven’t found any trace of Histoire on Lastation.

 

Noire: Thanks.

 

The guard bows his head and leaves. Neptune is disappointed.

 

Noire: Sorry, Neptune.

Neptune: If she’s not here, then she has to be in one of the other two lands. 

IF: We can go to Leanbox. It’s the next land closest to us.
Neptune: Alright then. Hey, want to come with us Noire?

 

Noire clears her throat.

 

Noire: ...W-Well, since you've asked…

 

Neptune hugs Noire.

 

Neptune: Yes! We’ve gained another member to our party, guys!

Noire’s face turns bright red.

 

Noire: G-G-Get off of me!

Hyperdimension Neptunia: Land of the Goddesses: Ep. 1: Planeptune.

This is a fan-made story written by me. Hyperdimension Neptunia belongs to Idea Factory, Compile Heart, Tamsoft, and Felistella. Episode 1: Planeptune. Origins:

In the beginning, there were two goddesses. They used their powers to create our world. The world was separated into two lands. The top is called Celestia, and the bottom is called Gameindustri. To sustain the two lands, the goddesses created the Sharecite, which became the core of the world. Gameindustri is a land where video games come to life, and where the humans live. The human's faith in the goddesses gave power to the Sharecite, making it stronger. As a result, the world flourished. Celestia is where the goddesses lived. These goddesses were called Arfoire and Rei Ryghts. I was their servant and tome: Histoire, a record keeper of the history of  Gameindustri and Celestia. Things ran peacefully for hundreds of years, until something happened between Arfoire and Rei Ryghts. Rei confessed her feelings to Arfoire, but Arfoire rejected her. After that, Rei fell to the dark side.

She stole energy from the Sharecite and created the Red Sharecite, a harbinger of evil that influences whoever comes near it. Rei Ryghts and Arfoire went to battle. The battle ended up damaging Celestia and Gameindustri. The people became afraid of the goddesses, and the Sharecite began to lose power. The two lands began to crumble as a results. Arfoire, in her shame and guilt, couldn't stop Rei Ryghts. In return she joined Rei, letting the Red Sharecite infect her mind and turn her evil. A second Red Sharecite was made for Arfoire, and now she and Rei sought to take control of Gameindustri. It looked like all was lost, but before she turned evil, Arfoire and I had a plan. She and I created four new goddesses with energy from the Sharecite. Arfoire told me that, if she couldn’t stop Rei, then these new goddesses were to rule Gameindustri in her place. When Arfoire turned on me, I took the four goddesses and fled from Celestia and into Gameindustri. I separated Gameindustri into four different lands for each goddess: Planeptune, Lowee, Lastation, and Leanbox. Purple Heart, Neptune, ruled Planeptune. White Heart, Blanc, ruled Lowee. Black Heart, Noire, ruled Lastation. And finally, Green Heart, Vert, ruled Leanbox. The Sharecite separated into four miniature pieces for each land. My hope is that, one day, the goddesses can regain the humans' trust, and write the wrongs of their predecessors.

I don’t know where Rei Ryghts and Arfoire are now, but I do know that they will appear again. I just hope that the four new goddesses will be ready when the time comes.

Monsters Appear in Planeptune:

In the land of Planeptune, “the Land of Purple Progress,” a goddess is at work in her Basilicom, which is the home of a goddess. She has purple hair, has a mini purple dress on with blue and white stockings, and is lying on the floor on her belly. This is the goddess Purple Heart, also known as Neptune, and she is busy... Playing video games in her living room. Suddenly, there’s a knock on her door. Without even turning her focused eyes away from the television screen, she replies:

Neptune: Come in!

A little woman on a book comes through the door. It's Histoire. 

Historie: Neptune.

Neptune quickly pauses her game and jumps to her feet. She hides the controller behind her back.

Neptune: Histy! How’s it hanging!?

Histoire turns to look at the television, and then back at Neptune. She sighs.

Histoire: I see you’re as busy as ever…

Neptune smiles hesitantly, but her smile quickly turns into a frown.

Neptune: I’m sorry, but nothing is going on right now! I’m sooo bored! 

Neptune pouts and sits back down on the floor. Histoire sighs, but she is also disheartened. 

Histoire (To Herself): Maybe this is my fault for keeping the goddesses separate from each other? No. I can’t let the past repeat itself.

She turns back to Neptune.

Histoire: Still, you should be in your office. You never know when something could happen-

A guard comes through the door.

Guard: Lady Purple Heart! There’s a report about a disturbance in the shopping district! Some kind of monster has been spotted.

Neptune perks up.

Neptune: Finally! Some action! 

Neptune runs over to her purple sneakers, located near the entrance way, and puts them on.

Neptune: You were right, Histy. Anything can happen!

She runs out of the room. In the shopping district, a crowd of people are fleeing for their lives. One woman in particular, with pink hair, sweater and boots, and black stockings, tries to make her way through the crowd. She is pushed over by another person, and falls to the ground. The monster, called a Guard Vermin, makes her way towards the pink-haired woman. Another woman: A brunette with a green leaf bow in her hair, wearing a black outfit and a blue coat and boots, runs to her aid. She takes out her gun and starts shooting at the monster. The Guard Vermin stops for a second to deflect the bullets. The brunette woman grabs the arm of the pink-haired womanl, picks her up, and they both start running. The Guard Vermin continues to pursue them. It gets closer, and prepares to strike at them with its sword!

Suddenly, a figure appears out of the sky. It’s a woman with purple and black armor on, purple twin-tailed hair and wings on her back, and a sword in her hands. She swings her arms back, and lunges forward at the Guard Vermin! Her sword hits the Vermin’s sword. The blow causes the creature to stumble backwards. The two women below look on in amazement.

Brunette Woman: Is that-
Pink-Haired Woman: It’s Purple Heart!

The Guard Vermin swings its sword at Purple Heart multiple times, but she dodges the strikes.

Pink-Haired Woman: Go Purple Heart! Go!

Purple Heart flies higher into the sky, points her sword down, and then dashes back down as fast as she can. The Guard Vermin points its sword at Purple Heart too… Suddenly, a white light appears, and an explosion follows. The Guard Vermin disappears.

Purple Heart appears out of the explosion. The crowd is... cautious. The people slowly disperse. Purple heart is dismayed.

Purple Heart: You're welcome.

The pink-haired woman runs up to her, and grabs her hand.

Pink-Haired Woman: Thank you so much, Lady Purple Heart! You saved us!

Purple Heart is surprised! She never got this kind of reaction from a human before.

Purple Heart: Umm... Don’t mention it, Miss…

Pink-Haired Woman: I’m Compa!
Planeptune: Don’t mention it, Compa. I’m just glad you’re safe.
Brunette Woman: Lady Purple Heart!

Purple Heart sees the brunette woman run up to her.

Brunette Woman: My name is IF, a member of the Guild. We’re a human-based organization that was created to hunt down the monsters that have been appearing all over Gameindustri. 

Purple Heart: “All over Gameindustri?” Are you saying that they’ve appeared in the other lands as well?
IF: Yes. The other three goddesses have joined with the Guild to help take them down, and we were hoping that you would do the same.
Purple Heart: Of course.
Compa: I want to help too. I’m a nurse in training. I came down here to see if I could help the wounded, but I got into trouble instead.
IF: At least you tried.
Purple Heart: Besides, I think we’ll need all the help we can get. How about you two come over to my Basilicom? We can talk more there. 

Purple Heart transforms back into Neptune.

Neptune: Besides, all this fighting has made me hungry.

The three of them walk back to the Basilicom. 

Histoire’s Gone:

When they arrive, they see Neptune’s guards lying on the floor. 

Neptune: What happened here?

The three of them run inside and head into the living room.

Neptune: Histy? Histoire?

IF: The tome was here?

Neptune: Yeah. She came to visit me. Come out, Histy! This isn’t funny!

Neptune looks everywhere, but she can’t find her. All three of them look around the Basilicom, but they can’t find Histoire.

Neptune: She’s gone… What happened? What’s going on here?
Compa: Something strange is going on here. First, that monster appears-
IF: It’s called a Guard Vermin. The Guild came up with names for all the monsters.
Compa: Fascinating. Anyway, first that thing appears, and then Histoire disappears.
IF: I have to agree with Compa. Something fishy is going on.
Neptune: I’m sorry, Histoire. I should have been better…

Compa: Neptune?
Neptune: ...Okay. First, I’ll tend to my guards. Then, we’ll leave for Lastation.
Compa: Lastation?
Neptune: Lastation is closer to Planeptune than the other lands, so we’ll go there first and partner up with their goddess: Black Heart. We’ll help her, and the Guild there, take down as many monsters as possible. In return, maybe Black Heart can help me find Histoire.
