Digital Art Practice 1: Neptune/Purple Heart from Hyperdimension Neptunia.

I usually post my artwork to YouTube and Instagram, but I'm going to start posting my artwork on my blog as well. I'm trying to get better at digital art. I'm going to keep drawing with pencil, Micron pens, and paper, but I want to start coloring in digital. I have colored a couple of drawings with digital art apps, but I want to get better. I finally found a way to blend, and it transformed my coloring quite a bit. I also found some tools that helped me to find my coloring style. I'm using my girl Neptune/Purple Heart from Hyperdimension Neptunia as my first test.

Tools in Sketchbook app I used to color: 1.) Skin: Pencil + blend with smudge pen. 2.) Hair: Pencil + color over pencil with fountain pen + blend with smudge pen. 3.) Eyes: Pencil + color over pencil with fountain pen. No blending. 4.) Clothes: Pencil + color over pencil with technical pen + blend with smudge pen. I drew the picture with pencils first, and then inked them with Pigma Micron pens (the O1 one). I took a photo of the drawing using the Genius Scan app for iPhone.

Not bad for my first time blending digitally. Next time, I'm going to try shading as well. 

Star and Ember Episode 3-General Redeye.

This story, and the characters in it, belong to me.

Previously on Star and Ember:

A mysterious couple, called The Destroyer and The Lady, have amassed a team to hunt down Stareye and Embercore. This group consists of Slickshot the Tracker, Eviscera, and Matta. Slickshot killed his cheating spouse, and her lover. Then, along with Eviscera and Matta, he went after Stareye and Embercore. The three villains were defeated by our heroes, until The Lady showed up. Stareye learned that Wrathenus was destroyed by The Destroyer, and now he and Embercore are left to deal with this horrifying revelation. 

3.1. The Villains Regroup.
Inside a secret location, The Destroyer is sitting in a throne in the middle of a room. He's covered in darkness, but he seems to be wearing a suit as well. His orange eyes glow in the darkness. A giant screen is in front of him at the other end of the room. Suddenly, green smoke appears in front of him. The smoke materializes into The Lady, Slickshot, Eviscera, and Matta.

The Lady
That could've gone better.
Slickshot the Tracker:
Ya think? That was embarrassing! Star and Ember know who I am now. 
The Destroyer:
A temporary loss. The plan is still sound though.

The Destroyer raises his hand, and makes a fist.

The Destroyer:
I can feel my power growing.

The Lady walks up the The Destroyer, and sits in his lap.

The Destroyer:
We must continue. 
The Lady:
I have a plan, but I need to find a way to implement it.
The Destroyer:
We'll maintain surveillance on Star and Ember. An opportunity will present itself eventually.

3.2. Hidden Rage.
Wrathenus walks up to a group of people. They notice her. She waves at them. They feel nervous around her, and walk away. Wrathenus sulks. She sits in the ground. Tears start to fall from her eyes. Someone walks up to her. She looks up, and sees that it’s Embercore. Embercore sits down next to her. Wrathenus smiles. The two of them start talking. 

Suddenly, Embercore is stirred by someone calling her name. She is sitting on the couch in the living room of Synervian Castle. Stareye is standing up, looking at her.

Stareye:

Ember? 

Embercore blinks a couple of times.

Embercore:

Y-Yes?

Stareye:

Those people you contacted are here.

Embercore:

The Creation Crew?

Stareye:

Yeah.

Embercore rubs her head.

Stareye:

Are you okay?

Embercore:

I was thinking about Wrathenus. I was remembering the time when we first became friends.

Stareye puts a hand on her shoulder.

Stareye:

Hey, after I get the castle fixed up, we’ll keep looking.

Embercore smiles. 

Embercore:
I'm not going to have you do this by yourself.

She stands up, and walks up to the giant hole in the wall of the living room. She looks through it. 

Embercore:
I called a friend over to help us. Also...

She turns to Stareye.

Embercore:
Can I ask you for a favor?
Stareye:
Sure.
Embercore:
My friend, his name is Redeye... Could you try and be friends with him?
Stareye:
Oh. I'll try.
Embercore:
He's another person that I've tried to help. I think you two would hit it off.

Outside, a van with the words "Cyborg Industries Creator Crew" can be seen. Embercore and Stareye turn to the hole in the wall, and notice the vehicle. Four people exit the van, and then it disappears. One of them walks up to the front of the group. This is Redeye. He is red with yellow hair. He sees Embercore and Stareye. He starts to wave, but he stops. The whole crew are shocked to see a giant hole in the castle. Embercore waves back, and smiles sheepishly.

Embercore:
H-Hi guys.
Redeye:
What happened!?
Embercore:
That's a long story. 

Redeye turns to the rest of his team.

Redeye:
Well guys, let's get started.

The team of four begin to help Embercore and Stareye to repair the living room. Redeye and one of his teammates are working on the hole in the wall of the living room, while the other two are working on the kitchen. Stareye walks up to Redeye.

Stareye:
I don't believe that we've officially met yet.
Redeye:
Oh! Sorry, sir. 

Redeye extends his hand to Stareye, and the two of them shake hands.

Redeye:
I'm Redeye.
Stareye:
Nice to meet you. I've never heard of the Creation Crew before.
Redeye:
Wrathenus never mentioned us before she-

Stareye shakes his head. 

Redeye:
Oh... Well, after Wrathenus started Cyborg Industries, she started the Creation Crew. We helped to disperse her technology across Synervia. We also help people to express themselves creatively. For example, I like to write.
Creation Crew Teammate:
If only you knew how to do something useful.

Stareye is puzzled by the Teammate's comment. Redeye looks dejected. Stareye notices this, and tries to continue the conversation.

Stareye:
You know, I'm thinking about writing my own stories as well.

Redeye perks up.

Redeye:
Oh? 
Stareye:
I'm trying to decide between a mystery novel, or a superhero one.

Redeye smiles.

Redeye:
If you'd like, I could help you.
Stareye:
That would be great!

Embercore watches the conversation from the entrance to the living room. She smiles. Redeye turns to his Teammate who is working on the hole in the living room wall. He notices that something is off.

Redeye:
This isn't right. 
Creation Crew Teammate:
It's fine.
Redeye:
Those bricks you laid don't match the pattern of the rest of the wall. 
Creation Crew Teammate:
It's fine!

Redeye's eyes widen. Stareye and Embercore turn to Redeye.

Crew Leader:
Hey newbie, fix those bricks, will ya?
Creation Crew Teammate:
Alright.

The Teammate begins to rectify his mistake. Redeye is surprised.

Redeye:
So, you listen to him but not to me?

The Teammate doesn't respond to Redeye.

Crew Leader:
Lay off him, Redeye.

Redeye turns around to face the Crew's Leader.

Redeye:
He's not listening to me, and I'm in charge this time. 

The Teammate continues to work. Suddenly, some of the new bricks fall put of place. The wall begins to fall forward! Everybody gasps. Stareye flies up, and catches the wall! Redeye grabs the Teammate, and drags him away. Stareye puts the wall back into place. Redeye runs up the wall, and looks down. He turns to the Teammate.

Redeye:
Put those bricks in properly this time!

The Teammate runs up to Redeye, and looks down. He extends his hands, his eyes glow, and the bricks are put in place correctly. Embercore and the three other crew members run up to them. The other members of the Creation Crew run to the Teammate.

Crew Leader:
Are you okay?

The Teammate nods his head, but he's still in shock.

Teammate:
...Y-Yeah.
Redeye:
This is why I told you to redo the support beams.
Crew Leader:
That was your fault, Red! 
Redeye:
What!?
Crew Leader:
I knew something like this would've happened. You shouldn't have been put in charge this time.
Redeye:
I told him to-
Crew Leader:
Enough! I'm take control of the operation from here on out. 
Stareye:
Woah woah woah! Redeye is right. The other guy didn't fix the beams correctly.
Crew Leader:
This doesn't concern you, Stareye.
Embercore:
Okay. This is getting out of hand.

Redeye cannot believe what he's hearing. He gets frustrated. He closes his eyes to try to calm down. He opens his eyes again, and they are glowing yellow. He bears his teeth, and grabs the Crew Leader by the throat! Everybody grabs onto Redeye's arms to try and release his grip.

Redeye:
I was only trying to help, but he didn't listen to me! None of you guys EVER listen to-
Embercore:
Redeye stop! You're hurting him!

Pores open on Redeye's arms, and a red and yellow gas comes out of it. Everyone begins to start choking. Redeye hears everyone choking, and his eyes stop glowing. He realizes what he's doing, and he lets go out the Crew Leader's throat. The pores on his arms close, and the gas disappears. The other crew members check on the Crew Leader, while Stareye and Embercore check on Redeye.

Redeye:
I'm sorry! I didn't-
Crew Leader:
Red, you're kicked out of the Creation Team. 

Redeye's face drops.

Embercore:
Wait a minute. Let's talk about-
Redeye:
No... I'll leave. I never belonged here anyway.
Embercore:
Are you sure?
Redeye:
Yeah... Before I do something I'll regret.

Redeye turns around, and leaves. Embercore's eyes turn red, and then she turns around and faces the rest of the crew.

Embercore:
I hope it was worth it.

The rest of the team are taken aback.

Crew Leader:
Let's get back to work guys.
Embercore:
No. I think you all have done enough for now. Please leave.
Crew Leader:
...Yes ma'am.

The team begin to leave. The Crew Leader walks up to Stareye.

Crew Leader:
I'm sorry.

Stareye nods his head. He and Embercore watch the team leave. On their screen, The Destroyer and The Lady watched everything that had happened. 

The Destroyer:
A new opportunity has presented itself. 
The Lady:
And it's another old friend.

3.3. New Friends.
In another part of Synervia, Redeye is walking home. He ponders over what happened earlier. Four men appear, and they surround him. Redeye is frightened. The leader of the group walks up to him.

Gang Leader:
Hey pal. 
Redeye:
I don't know what you want, but I just want to go home.
Gang Leader:
Oh, you will. Just give us your wrist comp, and we'll let you go on your way. 

Redeye is confused. He looks at one of the Gang Leader's arms, and sees a wrist comp on it.

Redeye:
Don't you already have one?

The Gang Leader smiles, and the other three men laugh.

Gang Leader:
Mine's broken. I want another one.

The man behind Redeye hits him in the back of his head. Redeye bends over. Two other men grab his arms. The Gang Leader grabs Redeye's arm with his wrist comp on it with one hand, and grabs Redeye's wrist comp off with the other. He tries to rip it off! Suddenly, a female voice is heard in the sky. 

Female Voice:
Try picking on someone your own size!

Everyone looks up. Eviscera is in the sky. The Gang Leader manages to rip Redeye's wrist comp off of Redeye's arm, and he pushes Redeye to the ground. He begins to run away. The three other men begin to run as well. Eviscera flies down to the ground, and super-speeds her way over to the gang. She runs arounds them, and traps them in a tornado. She stops running, and picks the tornado up in her hand. She turns to Redeye.

Eviscera:
Want me to waste them for ya?
Redeye:
No! Just give me back my wrist comp.
Eviscera:
Alright then.

Eviscera closes her hand, and the tornado disappears. The gang members fall to the ground. A mud puddle comes up from the ground, right behind the gang leader's head. The mud materializes into Matta. She grabs the wrist comp from the gang leader's hand. Eviscera walks up to Matta. The gang members look up at the two women.

Eviscera:
Now, beat it or I might change my mind!

The gang members get up and run away. Eviscera and Matta walks up to Redeye. Matta gives him his wrist comp.

Matta:
Are you alright?

Redeye rubs his head.

Redeye:
I guess. I'm just glad I have my wrist comp back. 

Redeye takes a sigh of relief. 

Redeye:
Why is all of this stuff happening to me? I didn't do anything to deserve that.
Eviscera:
What do you mean?
Redeye:
I'm part of... I was part of the Cyborg Industries Creation Crew. We were working on the Synervian Castle. It was my first lead project, but nobody wanted to listen to me. Then, my teammates chewed me up and spit me out after an accident occurred.

Redeye clenches his fist.

Redeye:
What did I do to deserve all of this? Everybody looks down on me, ignores me... Then, I get robbed!? 

Redeye's eyes begin to glow again. Eviscera and Matta notice this. They look at each other, and smile. Eviscera presses a button on her wrist comp, and the button starts to glow red. She puts her other hand on Redeye's left shoulder.

Eviscera:
You poor thing. 

Redeye's eyes stop glowing. Matta walks up to Redeye's right shoulder, and rests her head and hands on it. Redeye doesn't know what to say.

Eviscera:
If you need someone to talk to, we're here for you.

Redeye feels a little better.

Redeye:
Well... I-I live not too far from here.
Matta:
Great! We'll walk you home.
Redeye:
Oh! T-Thank you.
Eviscera:
I'm Eviscera.
Matta:
And I'm Matta.
Redeye:
Nice to meet you two. 

The three of them walk away. At his home, Eviscera and Matta listen to Redeye talk about his experience. They're in his living room. Eviscera is sitting at a table. Redeye is sitting on the opposite side of it. Matta is sitting on a couch. 

Redeye:
I was finally given the opportunity to lead a project this time, and surprisingly it was to help fix Synervian Castle. There was a giant hole in the wall of the living room. I told the new guy that the bricks weren't fixed correctly, but he blew me off. Then, the wall started to fall. Everybody was fine, but I was blamed by my co-workers for the incident. 
Matta:
That's not right! It wasn't your fault.
Redeye:
Yeah. Stareye and Ember said the same thing. I had to leave though. I grabbed the leader by the neck, screamed at him, and almost choked him out in front of everyone.

Eviscera and Matta are wide-eyed. They look at each other briefly in shock, and then they turn back to Redeye.

Eviscera:
How did that happen?

Redeye looks embarrassed.

Redeye:
Whenever I get angry, my body emits either a gas, lava, or any kind of heat. It has caused... problems in the past... I've tried everything to try and control my anger, but I guess it wasn't enough. Wrathenus, and even Ember, always had my back. After Wrathenus disappeared, I feel like the Crew have been trying to get rid of me ever since. They got their wish, and now I'm all alone... 
Matta:
That's not true!

Redeye turns to Matta. Matta has a flashback:

Matta:
I was a quiet girl until I met Eviscera. 

Matta is wondering by herself until she hears someone singing. She runs towards the sound, and she sees Eviscera singing by herself, and is sitting on the ground. Her back is turned to Matta. Eviscera turns around, and sees Matta staring at her. Eviscera is embarrassed. Matta waves at her and smiles. Eviscera sheepishly waves back. Matta walks up to Eviscera, and sits down next to her. Matta takes a lump of orange mud off of her body, and turns it into a small humanoid-shaped figure. The figure looks like Eviscera. Matta looks at Eviscera. Eviscera starts singing, and the mud figure starts to dance. Eviscera and Matta smile.

Eviscera:
And Matta was the first person who liked my singing. 

The flashback ends.

Eviscera:
Now, we're best friends. After that, we even met more friends. We want you to meet them too. 
Redeye:
I don't know... I'll just cause more trouble for you.

Eviscer walks up to Redeye and sits in his lap.

Eviscera:
We like trouble. 

Matta walks up to Redeye, and puts her hand on his left shoulder.

Matta:
We'll help you to discipline your old teammates. They should be... reprimanded for what they did to you.

Redeye contemplates Matta's words. He nods his head in agreement.

Redeye:
Yes... They should.
Eviscera:
Now, let us introduce you to our friends.

Eviscera presses the blinking button on her wrist comp. A purple and green smoke appears, and The Lady, The Destroyer, and Slickshot arrive. Redeye is anxious. 

Matta:
Don't worry. They're here to help.

The Lady walks up to Redeye.

The Lady:
She's right, Redeye.

The Lady puts a hand on Redeye cheek.

The Lady:
But most importantly, I won't let that injustice against my friend go unpunished.

Redeye's eyes widen. He knows who it is.

The Lady:
In return, you have to do us a favor: you have to help us put Stareye and Embercore to slumber.

Redeye's eyes widen.

Redeye:
I...

The Lady leans in closer to Redeye. Her eyes stare deep into his.

The Lady:
It's me, Red. If I help you, you have to help me. Okay?

Although his face is covered by a mask, a smile forms across The Destroyer's face. 

Redeye:
...I'll join you.

At their hideout, Redeye goes through training. In the training room, Redeye faces a robot. The Destroyer's voice emanates in the room from the speaker system.

The Detsroyer:
Your rage is your greatest strength, Redeye. You need to embrace it. Only then will you embrace your true self. Unleash your rage on the robot.

Redeye throws a fist at the robot. The robot catches his fist, and punches him in the abdomen. Redeye gasps, clenches his abdomen, and goes on his knees. In the control room, Slickshot, Eviscera, and Matta recoil from what they saw.

Slickshot the Destroyer:
Been there, done that. Forget about the robot. I know how to light his fire.

Slickshot enters the training room. 

Slickshot the Tracker:
You're a coward, Redeye.

Redeye is caught off-guard by Slickshot's comment. He gets frustrated.

Redeye:
What?
Slickshot the. Destroyer:
You're a coward. You look just like me before I took The Lady's and The Destroyer's offer. Trust me, you're worthless right now. If you don't take this offer, you're better off putting yourself back to slumber.

Slickshot's eradicator appears, and he puts it next to his head.

Slickshot the Tracker
Pew!

He laughs at Redeye. Redeye is at his breaking point.

Slickshot the Tracker:
Maybe I should do it for you?

Slickshot aims his eradicator at Redeye. Redeye's eyes turns yellow, and he bears his teeth. He swings his fist at Slickshot! Slickshot dodges it. She gets behind Redeye, and slaps the top of his head. Redeye turns around, and tries to swing another fist at Slickshot. Before he can, Slickshot punches Redeye in the abdomen. Redeye bends over. Slickshot bends down. He sees Redeye getting angrier.

Slickshot the Tracker:
Are you mad? What are you going to do about it?
Redeye:
SHUT UP! 

Redeye swings a fist at Slickshot. Slickshot is knocked into the air, and he falls onto his back! Redeye's eyes are now glowing yellow. He leaps towards Slickshot, but Slickshot rolls out of the way. Slickshot hastily gets to his feet, and runs back towards the robot. Redeye gets up, and charges towards Slickshot at full speed. He lunges again at Slickshot, but Slickshot ducks just in time. Redeye lands on top of the robot, and he rips the robot apart! He turns to Slickshot, and he charges at him! The Destroyer's voice is heard on the speaker.

The Destroyer:
Stop!

Redeye stops in his tracks, and his eyes stop glowing. He goes on his hands and knees, and he catches his breath. Slickshot pats him on the back.

Slickshot the Tracker:
Feeling any better?
Redeye:
...Yeah... 
Slickshot the Tracker:
Don't let go of that feeling. It's what's going to drive you from now on. I've been where you were before, Red. My life is much better now. Yours will be as well.

Slickshot extends his hand out to Redeye. Redeye grabs it, and he gets back to his feet. The Destroyer and The Lady enter the room. The Destroyer is carrying a rather large device.

The Destroyer:
The Lady and I created a device that will make your body morph when you tap into your anger. 

The Destroyer hands Redeye the device.

The Destroyer:
It's called the "indjector." Put it on your back.

Redeye notices two straps on the indjector. He puts his arms through them, and the device goes on his back. 

The Lady:
There are two drills on your back. The drills will insert into your body, and release a rage potion that I made. It will activate your anger, and your powers. They will fuel the indjector, and keep the potion being injected into you. 
The Destroyer:
You are now a living weapon.

Redeye nods his head in approval. The drills inject into Redeye's back. Redeye's eyes bulge, and his pupils contract. The rage potion is inserted into his body, and his body begins to morph and grow taller! Everyone, including Eviscera and Matta watching in the control room, are shocked. 

Redeye:
The power! I can feel it! I've never felt better!

The Destroyer smiles.

The Destroyer:
Good! Now, let's give your new toy a test run.

3.4. Severing Ties.
At one of the Creation Crew's workshops, the three members of Redeye's old crew are hanging out. 

Crew Leader:
Redeye is finally gone!

Everyone cheers.

Member 2:
No more freak accidents.
Member 3 (New guy):
Now, we can get some real work done.
An Unknown Voice:
Thanks for the confirmation, boys.

The three members turn to the entrance. There's someone standing in the doorway, hidden in the shadows. 

Crew Leader:
Who is that!?

The figure steps forward. It's Redeye. He is wearing a coat. He towers over his old crew-mates now!

Crew Leader:
Redeye!? 
Member 3 (New Guy):
What are you doing here?
Redeye:
...Just wanted to see the old gang again.
Crew Leader:
You're not a part of the crew anymore.

Redeye smiles.

Redeye:
Apparently, I was never truly a part of the crew. Isn't that right? I caused you all nothing but trouble, even though I did everything that I could to be better. You just mocked me behind my back, didn't you? Heh. I already know the answer. 

Redeye slowly walks up to them.

Redeye:
But now, I have new friends. They made me a better person, and now I owe them...

Redeye removes his coat. The coat turns into flames, and disappears. The indjector is now visible to the crew. Their eyes widen, and their mouths drop, at the sight of the device. Redeye's chest and arms are naked. He clenches his fists, and the drills on the indjector raise up. 

Redeye:
...Your orbs!

The drills go inside Redeye's back. His pupils contract, and his right eye grows larger. The right side of his mouth grows larger as well. His arms and legs become muscular. The three crew members get out of their chairs, and run into a corner of the room. The Crew Leader gets in front of the other two members to protect them. Redeye sees the fear in the crew's eyes, and an evil smile forms on his face. 

Redeye:
Impressive, right!? I imagine that if I looked like this before, I would've gotten more respect from you guys. Well... I don't need you anymore.

Redeye grabs the Crew Leader, and raises him above his head. He rips his body in half! The other two members are mortified! The Crew Leader's body parts rejoin, and turn into an orb. Redeye turns to the remaining two crew members.

Redeye:
Now, it's your turn.

Redeye turns to the new crew member.

Redeye:
I'm sorry that your time with the crew was so short, newbie. Then again... After what you put me through at Synervian Castle, you deserve this. 

Redeye lunges at the two crew members, and the their screams reverberate around the workshop. Afterwards, a purple and green smoke appears. It's The Lady and The Destroyer. Redeye transforms back into his human mode, turns around, and gets down on one knee. He lifts his hands to The Destroyer and The Lady. In his hands are the three orbs of his old Creation Crew teammates. 

The Lady:
You passed your test, Redeye.
Redeye:
If I might say, there is some unfinished business that I want to take care of first.

The Lady's eyes turn green, and she reads Redeye's mind. They return to normal.

The Lady:
I agree. 

Later on, Redeye is walking back home. His body is covered by his coat, and the right side of his face has returned to normal. Suddenly, the same gang that of robbed him before appear again. The Gang Leader steps forward. 

Gang Leader:
Heeey, I remember you. You're a LOT taller than you used to be!

Redeye has a cold look on his face.

Redeye:
Nice to see you again.

The gang look at each other in confusion, but they laugh.

Gang Leader:
That's a weird thing to say to people who are going to rob you again.
Redeye:
I'm happy that I didn't have to do exert much effort in order to lure you out.
Gang Leader:
Heh... What is that suppose to mean? 
Redeye:
It means that you're my prey, and you took my bait.
Gang Member 2:
Check the mouth on this guy!
Gang Leader:
You do realize that we're going to rob you, smart guy? Play nicely, or we might put you to slumber.
Redeye:
I tried to play nice before, but that didn't get me anywhere. No more!

Redeye removes his coat and it disappears, revealing his chest, arms, and the indjector. Pores appear on his arms, and a red and yellow gas emits out of them.

Gang Leader:
What is-

The gas goes into the Gang Leader's body, and starts to infect him! The rest of the gang are shocked. The gas increases, and engulfs the other three members of the gang. They are now infected! All four of the gang members' eyes change colors. The right eye is red, while the left one is yellow. They gang stands in place. Redeye rests his hands behind his back, and walks up to the Gang Leader.

Redeye:
How do you feel?
Gang Leader (Controlled):
I feel... Great!

The Gang Leader smiles. Redeye looks at the rest of the gang. They're all smiling too.

Redeye:
And what about the rest of you?
Gang Member 2 (Controlled):
Same!
Gang Member 3 (Controlled):
I feel fantastic!
Gang Member 4 (Controlled):
What did you do to us?
Redeye:
I gave you all a small dose of my power, now filled with a rage potion. It'll wear off in a bit.
Gang Leader (Controlled):
No! I've never felt more alive!
Redeye:
You want more? Then, you'll have to work for me. All of you will have to work for me.

The Gang Leader gets on his knees.

Gang Leader (Controlled):
I'll do it!

Redeye looks at the other gang members. They all get on their knees. Redeye smiles.

Redeye:
Excellent.

A purple and green smoke appears, and The Destroyer, The Lady, and the rest of the group appears. 

Redeye:
The experiment is a success.
The Destroyer:
Perfect. We are one step closer to creating an army.

The Destroyer clenches his fist, and feels his strength growing. 

The Destroyer:
And I can feel my power is increasing at a quicker rate.
The Lady:
Now, we need to lure out Star and Ember.

The Lady turns to Redeye, and rest her hand on his left shoulder.

The Lady:
This is it, Redeye.

Redeye nods his head.

Redeye:
I gave you my word. I will not break it. 
The Lady:
Good. The Destroyer and I have formulated a new plan.
The Destroyer:
After we train your new soldiers, we'll put the plan into action.

3.5. Technodroid Learns About Wrathenus' Fate.
Technodroid arrives at Synervian Castle. The living room has finally been restored. Stareye opens the door for him, and he sees Technodroid.

Technodroid:
Hey guys!
Stareye:
Hey Tech! Come on in.

Technodroid enters the castle. Embercore is sitting on the couch in the living room.

Technodroid:
I hope you don't mind me "intruding" for a bit.

Stareye and Embercore smile. 

Embercore:
Not at all.
Technodroid:
I wanted to ask you guys if you've found anything regarding Wrathenus. 

Stareye and Embercore look at each other with concern.

Embercore:
I think you should sit down for this.

Technodroid looks puzzled. He walks to the couch, and sits down on the opposite side of the couch. Stareye walks up behind Embercore. Technodroid notices the solemn look on Stareye's and Embercore's faces.

Technodroid:
What's wrong?
Embercore:
...We were attacked last night.
Technodroid:
What!?
Stareye:
We're alright, thankfully.
Embercore:
But, we were told by one of our attackers that... Wrathenus is gone. 

A furious expression appears on Technodroid's face.

Technodroid:
Who? Who took her!?
Stareye:
A man calling himself "The Destroyer" told me that Wrathenus... was put to slumber. 

Technodroid is in disbelief.

Stareye:
I'm so sorry.

Technodroid closes his eyes.

Technodroid:
Do you have her soul orb?

Embercore shakes her head.

Embercore:
We haven't found it. 
Stareye:
I think The Destroyer, or one of his henchmen, has it. We just don't know where they're hiding.

Technodroid gets an idea. He stands up.

Technodroid:
I can help with that. I can hack into every wrist comp, traffic light, vehicle, piece of technology that I can think of, and try to find these people.
Embercore:
I don't know if that's the right thing to do.
Technodroid:
What other choice do we have!? I just need to find Wrathenus' orb.
Embercore:
So do I, but spying on everybody is an invasion of privacy.

Technodroid turns to Stareye, who is pondering over the idea. 

Technodroid:
Star, please. You have to see that this is the only way.
Stareye:
...I don't know. I want to find Wrathenus, but I don't want to spy on innocent people.

Technodroid gets mad.

Technodroid:
I'm going to find my soul mate. If you can't come up with a better idea, then I'll do whatever I have to do to find her!

He turns around, and walks towards the front door. Embercore stand up.

Embercore:
Tech!

Technodroid stomps.

Embercore:
Look at me. Please.

Technodroid turns around. Embercore can see the pain in his eyes.

Embercore:
Don't do this. This is wrong. 

Technodroid closes his eyes, and lets out a heavy sigh of defeat. Embercore walks up to him, and hugs him. Technodroid holds her as well. Embercore puts her hands on Technodroid's face, and looks him in the eyes.

Embercore:
We'll find a way, and we'll do this the right way.

Technodroid nods his head. He looks at Stareye, and he walks up to him. He extends his hand out to Stareye.

Technodroid:
I'm sorry.

Stareye shakes his hand.

Stareye:
It's okay, man. I understand.

Embercore gets a call on her wrist comp. She answers it, and Redeye appears.

Redeye:
Hey Ember.
Embercore:
Red!

Stareye and Technodroid walk over to Embercore.

How are you holding up?
Redeye:
How about you guys come over? We can talk about everything here.
Embercore:
That's fine. We'll head over right now.
Redeye:
Great. See you guys shortly.

3.6. General Redeye.
Embercore's car drives up to Redeye's house. Embercore, Stareye, and Technodroid get out of the car. The car dematerializes, and the three of them walk up to the front door of the house. Embercore knocks three times on the door. It opens up, and Redeye appears. He is now standing at Embercore's height, and is wearing his coat. Embercore and Stareye are surprised. Embercore even leans back a bit. She puts her hand on her mouth out of shock. Redeye smiles.

Redeye:
Hey guys.

Embercore lowers her hand from her mouth.

Embercore:
Red!? What-
Redeye:
It's a long story. Come in, come in.

Redeye moves to the left, and lets his three guests enter the house. Stareye is a bit suspicious. He turns to Embercore. She has the same look on her face. Redeye closes the door, and turns around to face the trio. He notices Technodroid.

Redeye:
Technodroid, right? It's an honor to meet you in-person. 

He extends his hand to him. Technodroid shakes his hand.

Redeye:
Wrathenus was an inspiration to me. She supported me when others didn't, aside from Ember. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Technodroid smiles, and nods his head.

Technodroid:
Thank you. Any friend of Wrath's is a friend of mine. 

Redeye turns to Embercore and Stareye. He points to the living room table. 

Redeye: 
You guys can sit there, or the couch.

Technodroid goes to the couch, and sits in it. Redeye goes to the end of the table, and sits in it. Stareye sits in the middle, and Embercore sits at the end of it. They both keep an eye on Redeye.

Redeye:
I'm sorry that I wasn't able to help you two rebuild the castle.
Stareye:
It's not your fault. Besides, Ember and I could finish the rest of the repairs anyway.

Redeye smiles.

Embercore:
And how have you been doing? You look different from the last time we saw you.
Redeye:
...That's a long story. After I left Synervian Castle, I was walking back home when I was about to be robbed. Luckily, I met some friends that helped me out. 
Stareye:
Who are these "friends?"
Redeye:
...They're the ones that gave me this new look.

Embercore's eyes turn red. Redeye's eyes briefly turn red, but then they turn green. They return to normal afterwards. 

Embercore (Telepathically):
Star, I can't read his mind.
Stareye (Telepathically):
I saw his eyes turn green. Do you think-
Embercore (Telepathically):
Yes, I do. 

Both of their eyes return to normal. Technodroid recognizes the silence in the air. 

Technodroid:
Is everything okay, guys?
Embercore:
No, it's not. Red, come with us. We can help you.

Redeye looks down at the table, and then he looks back up at Embercore and Stareye. He has a serious expression on his face now.

Redeye:
Sorry, Ember. I already have the help that I need.

Redeye gets up from the table. Embercore and Stareye get up from the table as well, and raise their fists up. Technodroid scrambles to his feet. Stareye grabs his arm, and pulls him behind Embercore and himself. Four green flames appear. They manifest into four men, and they stand right behind Redeye. It's the gang members. They are now Redeye's soldiers. They all have suits on, with a smaller injector on their backs. They only have one drill. They're also carrying eradicators.

Technodroid:
Redeye, what's going on?
Redeye:
I owe my new friends a debt, and I'm going to pay them back. 

Technodroid starts to panic.

Redeye:
This doesn't concern you, Technodroid. You're allowed to leave.
Technodroid:
Look, Red-Redeye, I'm sure you're a good person. Please don't hurt my friends-
Embercore:
Tech, listen to me very closely.
Technodroid:
Uh-huh...
Embercore:
When you leave, head straight back to Synervian Castle. 
Technodroid:
Okay!
Stareye:
There isn't anybody outside, is there?
Redeye:
No. My targets are you and Ember, not Technodroid.

Stareye and Embercore transform into their superhero suits. Technodroid's eyes widen. He turns to the door, opens it, and then leaves. 

Redeye:
Now, we can finish our business.
Stareye:
We don't have to do this, Red!
Redeye:
I remember that you said you wanted to write a story, Star. In everyone else's story, I was the villain. Now, I'm writing my own story. This time, I'm the hero.

Redeye removes his coat, and it disappears. His bare chest and arms are revealed. Stareye and Embercore stare at the injector on Redeye's back.

Stareye:
What is that!?

A evil smile forms across Redeye's face.

Stareye:
Oh, you're going to like this, Star.

The drills on the injector go up, and then they go into Redeye's body. His pupils contract, and his arms and legs become muscular. The right side of his expands again. He charges at Embercore, and he punches her in the head. She flies to the left, and hits the wall! Stareye swings a fist at Redeye. Redeye catches his fist, and then punches him with his own. Stareye is sent flying backwards. His body hits the door so hard that it is forced open, and he lands on the ground outside. Back inside the house, Redeye turns to his soldiers. He looks at the Commander, who use to be the Gang Leader.

Redeye:
Take care of Star. I'll handle Ember.
Commander:
Yes sir!

The four soldiers run out of the house. Redeye turns to Embercore. She rubs the side of her head, and then. looks up. She sees Redeye standing above her. She kicks Redeye in the abdomen. Redeye is forced backwards a bit, but he shows no reaction. Embercore gets back to her feet.

Embercore:
First Slick, and now you!?
Redeye:
Slickshot and I were nobodies that finally reached our full potentials. 
Embercore:
By becoming criminals?
Redeye:
By becoming our true selves. Do you remember how badly I was treated by my Creation Crew!? All the effort that I put into making them like me ended in failure. Now, they're in slumber again. 

Embercore's eyes widen.

Redeye:
And I have new friends now. Slickshot the Tracker is one of them, but we're just the beginning. 

Embercore screams out of frustration, and flies up to Redeye. She throws a punch at him, but he dodges it. She tries to kick him, but Redeye ducks underneath her leg. Embercore swings another fist at him. Redeye catches it, and he swings his own fist at her. Embercore catches it with her free hand. They push each other to try and force the other to lose balance, but it doesn't work. They're at a stalemate. Embercore stares at Redeye. He is bearing his teeth at her, and there is nothing but rage in his eyes. Her face saddens. 

Embercore:
I tried so hard to help you...
Redeye:
I know... You even tried to get Star to be my friend too, didn't you?

Embercore's eyes widen.

Redeye:
Thank you for trying, but you don't have to worry about me anymore. 

Redeye lifts Embercore up into the air, and then he slams her to the floor. He frees his fist from her grip. Embercore looks up at him.

General Redeye:
The pathetic Redeye that you once knew is gone. I'm General Redeye now.

3.7. Embercore Meets The Lady.
Embercore's eyes turn red. Then, they turn green. She gets a headache, and screams in pain! She closes her eyes, and clenches her head. She's being hit with a psychic attack! Green smoke appears. It materializes into The Lady. 

The Lady:
That trick isn't going to work while I'm around, Embercore.
Embercore:
I knew it... Who are... you?
The Lady:
That's right. I never properly introduced myself to you last time, didn't I? Call me "The Lady."
Embercore:
Where is... Wrathenus?
The Lady:
I don't know.

Embercore gets frustrated.

Embercore:
Do you have... her orb?
The Lady:
Right now my dear, you should worry about yourself. 

The Lady's eyes glow brighter, and the psychic attack on Embercore grows stronger. Embercore screams again, but they're louder than before. Outside, Stareye is lying on the ground. His ears twitch at the sound of somebody screaming. His eyes widen when he realizes that those screams belong to Embercore.

Stareye:
Ember!?

He shakes his head, and gets back to his feet. A loud noise is heard, and something hits Stareye in his abdomen. He gasps, and leans forward! He grabs his abdomen, and gets on his knees. He looks down, and sees a fire bullet in him. Redeye's four soldiers walk up to him. They aim their eradicators at him.

Commander:
Stay down, Stareye!

Stareye's pupils contract. He closes his eyes.

Stareye:
No... Not again...

Stareye opens his eyes again. They're glowing white. He lets out a scream, and stretches out his hands! An ice storm erupts around him. The four soldiers are sent flying backwards. Stareye clenches his head, and closes his eyes. The ice storm dissipates. 

Stareye:
Do not transform... Do. Not. Transform.

Stareye opens his eyes. They return to normal. He lowers his hands from his head. He sees that the soldiers are lying on the ground. He looks down, and grabs the bullet. His body glows white, and he pulls the bullet out. He looks at it, and realizes that it's the same kind of bullet that Slickshot uses. He looks back at the soldiers, and sees them getting up from the ground. He sees the eradicators in their hands.

Stareye:
Eradicators, huh? A gift from The Destroyer and Lady, no doubt.

The Commander swings his eradicator up, and aims it at Stareye. Stareye super-speeds his way forwards, and grabs the eradicator. It gets covered in ice. The Commander lets go of it before he gets covered in ice too. He kicks Stareye in the abdomen, and falls backwards. He rolls over, and lands back on his feet. Three of the soldiers aim their eradicators at Stareye's head. The Commander pushes his way through them.

Commander:
No! I'll handle him. Shoot him only if you have to. 

Stareye squints his eyes.

Stareye:
What are you guys up to?
Commander:
Oh, I'm just going to show you a trick.

The drill on the injector on the Commander's back goes up, and then injects itself into him. His pupils contract, and his arms and legs grow to be more muscular. His right eye turns red, and the other one turns yellow. He flies up to Stareye, and punches him on the right side of the face! Stareye is knocked downward on his left. The Commander grabs his right leg, and swings him to the left. Stareye face-plants onto the ground. The Commander lifts him up in the air again, and slams him down on the right. He lets go of Stareye's leg. The Commander laughs, satisfied with what he had accomplished. Stareye looks up, and sees the soldiers walking towards him. Then, his eyes glow greeb. The other soldiers' eyes turn green as well. They stop moving immediately. 

Commander:
Time to go, boys.

All four of the soldiers disappear in purple and green smoke. Stareye carefully gets back to his feet. 

Stareye:
They... They had me...

Then, he remembers that Embercore is still inside Redeye's house. He lets out a gasp.

Stareye:
Ember!

He turns around, and runs towards the building. When Stareye enters, he notices that everybody is gone except for Embercore. She is lying face-first on the floor. Stareye runs up to her, and kneels down next to her. He rolls her over, and shakes her by the shoulders.

Stareye:
Ember!?

Embercore slowly opens her eyes. Stareye makes a sigh of relief.

Stareye:
Are you okay?

Stareye helps her up to her feet. Embercore puts a hand on her head.

Embercore:
A little beaten up, but otherwise I'm alright.
Stareye:
What happened?
Embercore:
It was The Lady. 

Stareye bears his teeth.

Stareye:
I knew it...
Embercore:
She hit me with a psychic blast. She must've helped Redeye to escape.
Stareye:
And his cronies. Just like last time!

Stareye slams his fist on the wall.

Stareye:
I'm so sorry I wasn't able to help. All I did was get slapped around by Redeye's henchmen.

Embercore puts her hand on Stareye's left shoulder.

Embercore:
Hey, it's okay. We did our best. We should head back home. Technodroid should be waiting for us.

Stareye nods his head.

Stareye:
Yeah... Let's go. 

The two of them begin to leave the building. On a screen at their base, The Destroyer and The Lady watch the two of them leave. The Lady is sitting in The Destroyer's lap. She is purple and blue now.

The Destroyer:
This is going to be entertaining. 

3.8. Stareye's Dream.
Stareye and Embercore land back at Synervian Castle. They enter the building, and transform back into their original clothes. Technodroid runs up to them.

Technodroid:
Are you guys okay!?

Stareye has a frustrated look on his face. Embercore closes her eyes, and a sheepish smile forms on her face.

Embercore:
In a manner of speaking, yes but also no.
Stareye:
We couldn't stop them.  Did anything happen while we were gone?
Technodroid:
No. I was safe.
Stareye:
Good.
Embercore:
Just in case, Tech, you should stay over again until Star and I can make sure that no one will follow, or try to hurt, you.

Technodroid nods his head in approval.

Technodroid:
That works for me. 

Embercore turns to Stareye. He still has a look of disappointment on his face. She rubs his back.

Embercore;
I think you should go rest for a bit, Star. 
Stareye:
Oh? I was going to try and figure out another plan to-

Embercore puts a hand on his cheek. She turns Stareye's head to face her.

Embercore:
You're frustrated. you won't be able to think straight when you're mad. Just go sleep for a little bit, okay?

Embercore's eyes turn green, and so do Stareye's. They return to normal. 

Stareye:
I think I can take a small break. 

Embercore smiles.

Embercore:
Good. I'm going to join you to make sure you do that. 

Embercore turns to Technodroid.

Embercore:
We'll be back in a bit.
Technodroid:
Roger that. 

Embercore and Stareye walk up the stairs to the bedroom. Later on, Stareye and Embercore sleep in their bed. Embercore's hand is on Stareye's chest. Her hand begins to glow green. Stareye starts to have a nightmare. In his dream, he sees a woman standing in front of him in the distance. Her back is turned to him, but she resembles Embercore. Stareye reaches out to her. Suddenly, the ground cracks and crumbles underneath him. He starts falling. He tries to fly, but he can't for some reason. He lands in a large body of water. He tries to swim out of it, but he can't. Underneath the water, something is watching him. A purple tentacle swims up, and wraps around his legs. Stareye is pulled under the water! He extends his hands to freeze the water, but he can't. He reaches down to grab the tentacle. He then sees two giant eyes glowing from below. One of them is green, while the other is yellow. Stareye tries to rip off the tentacle, but it's no use. Another tentacle appears. It's yellow. It grabs the purple tentacle, and rips it in half! The remaining purple tentacle goes back down. The yellow tentacle grabs Stareye, and takes him to the surface. Once he breaches the surface, Stareye gets a good look at the creature that is rescuing him. It's a yellow octo-snake. It puts Stareye on the top of its head. Stareye goes on his hands and knees, and tries to relax.

On the opposing side of the two, the water bursts. Another octo-snake, a purple one, appears. It confronts Stareye and the yellow octo-snake. It charges at the yellow one. The yellow octo-snake grabs Stareye with one of its tentacles, and puts him behind it. Then, it charges at the purple octo-snake. The two serpents collide! Their tentacle mouths bite and rip into each other. Stareye hangs on to the yellow tentacle keeping him safe. the purple octo-snake grans the yellow one by the head, and throws it into the water. One of its tentacles grabs Stareye. Another one grabs the yellow tentacle holding Stareye, and bisects it! The purple serpent opens its mouth, and Stareye is dragged inside...

Stareye wakes up, and leans straight up! He gasps.

Embercore:
Star, relax! It's just a bad dream.

She puts a hand on his cheek, and turns his head around to face her. She's not in the bed, and is standing up.

Embercore:
You're okay, honey.

Stareye closes his eyes, and calms down. He opens them again, and nods his head. Embercore removes her hand from his cheek.

Stareye:
It felt so real! I saw you, and there was-
Embercore:
Don't worry. It wasn't real. I'm right here.

Stareye nods his head, and lies back down.

Stareye:
Yeah... yeah.
Embercore:
Now, relax. Wrathenus and Technodroid are waiting for us downstairs.

Stareye's eyes widen. He leans up, and faces Embercore. 

Stareye:
...Who's waiting for us?

Embercore forms a confused smile on her face.

Embercore:
Wrathenus and Technodroid, silly. 
Stareye:
...Wrathenus is... missing, Ember. Don't you remember?
Female Voice:
No I'm not.

Stareye's ears perk up. He recognizes that voice. He turns to the doorway, and he sees Wrathenus and Technodroid standing there. Stareye's eyes widen again, and his mouth drops. 

Wrathenus:
I'm right here. 
Embercore:
Sorry guys. Star had a nightmare. 

Stareye gets out of bed, and walks to Wrathenus. He pokes her shoulder. She's real! Everyone else is a bit concerned.

Wrathenus:
I'm real, Star. Trust me.

Stareye can't believe it.

Stareye:
You're real... 

A smile forms on his face.

Stareye:
You're back...

He turns to Embercore.

Stareye:
She's back! 

Stareye wraps his arms around Wrathenus' and Technodroid' necks.

Stareye:
We're all together again!

Wrathenus and Technodroid look at each other in confusion.

Technodroid:
Yes, Star. We've always been together. 
Stareye:
"Always?"

Stareye lets go of them. Technodroid pats him on the head.

Technodroid:
Yep. Always.
Wrathenus:
When did I ever leave?

Stareye tries to remember the incident, but he's drawing a blank.

Stareye:
You... I... I don't remember.
Wrathenus:
That's because I never left.

Stareye runs back to Embercore. He grabs her around her waist, and lifts her up in excitement.

Stareye:
I'm sorry for scaring you guys! So, what did we plan to do?

Star and Ember Episode 2-Slickshot the Tracker and the Hi-Jinx Girls.

Previously on Star and Ember:

Technodroid and Stareye awaken, and meet their new soul mates. Unfortunately, Technodroid's mate, Wrathenus, has disappeared. Technodroid was found, and rescued. It seems to have been an attack. The culprits are still at large. In return, Stareye and Embercore train themselves in order to protect Synervia. They create the Synervian Protection Team. Unbeknownst to them, they are being watched.

2.1. Of Spirits and Soul Mates.
Stareye's car drives up to a building. It's called The Den. Stareye and Embercore get out of the car. Stareye presses on the transporter button on his wrist comp, and his car disappears.

Embercore:
Welcome to the The Den. It's the most famous place to hang out in Synervia. 

Stareye examines the building.

Stareye:
I wouldn't mind coming here when we're not working. 
Embercore:
Next time. 

The two of them enter the building. It's packed on the inside. Some people are in their human forms, while others are in their animal forms. They're all socializing, or swimming in a pool in the middle of the room. At the back of the room lies a set of stairs that lead upstairs. On the left side is a desk. A man is sitting there. His name is Slickshot. He's green with red hair. He smiles when he sees Embercore and Stareye appear. Slickshot gets up from his chair, and walks up to them.

Slickshot:
Ember! Nice to see you again!

The two of them hug each other. Slickshot turns to Stareye.

Slickshot:
Stareye! Nice to finally meet you in person.

Stareye smiles. The two of them shake hands.

Stareye:
Likewise! We're here to help you with your problem, but you never told us what it was.
Slickshot:
That's because... Well...

Embercore's eyes glow red, and she reads Slickshot's mind. Then, she looks around for somebody.

Embercore:
Where is she?

Slickshot exhales.

Slickshot:
I knew you were going to do that. Answer: Not with me, that's for sure. 

Slickshot walks back to the desk, and sits in his chair. 

Embercore:
How long has this been happening?
Slickshot:
After Technodroid's announcement that Wrathenus disappeared. I'm sorry about that, by the way.
Embercore:
Thank you.

Suddenly, a woman enters. She walks up to Slickshot. It's his Soul-Mate.

Slickshot's Soul-Mate:
Hey baby. 

Slickshot forms a fake smile across his face.

Slickshot:
And where did you go?
Slickshot's Soul-Mate:
I just had to get something done. 

She notices that Embercore and Stareye are present.

Slickshot's Soul-Mate:
Ember! Hi! And you must be Stareye! Nice to meet you!

Stareye looks at Embercore. He notices that she has a cold expression on her face.

Embercore:
How long have you been leaving without telling your mate?

Slickshot's Soulmate looks at Slickshot. Slickshot doesn't look at her. Then she looks back at Embercore and Stareye.

Slickshot's Soul-Mate:
I just had to leave for a little bit. 
Slickshot:
You've been doing that for a while now. 
Slickshot's Soul-Mate:
It's my business, Slick!

Slickshot's Soul-Mate's eyes turn red.

Embercore:
And you're lying.

She turns to Embercore. Embercore's eyes are red. Slickshot's Soul-Mate jumps back a bit. 

Slickshot's Soul-Mate:
You're invading my privacy!
Embercore:
I remember when you two became mates. This is wrong. You can't do this.

Slickshot's Soul-Mate's gets frustrated.

Slickshot's Soul-Mate:
Maybe it was a mistake...

Embercore's eyes widen.

Embercore:
What?

Slickshot drops his head in disappointment, but he seems like he expected that answer.

Slickshot's Soul-Mate:
I was given the wrong Soul-Mate!

Slickshot's Soul-Mate walks away, and goes up the stairs.

Embercore:
We're not done yet!

Stareye taps on Embercore's shoulder. She turns around, and sees that everybody in the room is looking at them. Slickshot stands up to address the audience.

Slickshot:
It's okay, everyone. Please go back to your activities.

Everyone settles down, and everything goes back to normal. Embercore restrains herself. She's really embarrassed. 

Embercore:
I'm sorry, Slick. 

Slickshot sits back into his chair.

Slickshot:
No... She just confirmed what I already knew. This relationship wasn't going to last. 
Stareye:
Is there anything else we can do?

Slickshot shakes his head.

Slickshot:
No. If this wasn't going to work, then maybe we're just not meant to be together. I'm getting tired of it all, anyway. 

Slickshot rubs his eyes.

Embercore:
If you need anything, Slick, call us again.

Slickshot nods his head.

Slickshot:
...Thanks.

Embercore and Stareye begin to leave.

Slickshot:
Hey Stareye.

Stareye turns around. Embercore stops as well.

Slickshot:
Take care of Ember. I know you two will make each other very happy. 

Stareye nods.

Stareye:
I will.

Stareye and Embercore leave. Slickshot sinks back into his chair. He gets more frustrated thinking about the incident. Two women walk up to him. The first is pink with white spiky hair that constantly waves, while the second is orange with blue hair made of diamonds. The first girl is Eviscera, and the second girl is Matta. 

Eviscera:
Hey Slick, is everything alright?
Slickshot:
I don't know right now.
Matta:
We kinda heard everything that happened. You can talk to us about it.

A smile forms across Eviscera's face.

Eviscera:
We can do a lot more than that.

Eviscera walks around Slickshot's desk, and sits in his lap.

Eviscera:
We can treat you better than your pathetic mate ever did.

Matta sits on the desk, and smiles at Slickshot. Slickshot blushes, but he shakes his head.

Slickshot:
Thank you, but right now I just need some space.

Eviscera and Matta nod their heads. Eviscera gets off of Slickshot's lap.

Eviscera:
Understood. 
Matta:
Take care off yourself.

Matta gets off of Slickshot's desk, and she and Eviscera leave the building. Slickshot gets out of his chair, and addresses the crowd. 

Slickshot:
I'm sorry, everyone! I'm going to close for a while. I need to take some time off. 

Everyone understands, and begin to leave. Several people wish Slickshot well before they leave. After the last person leaves, Slickshot sinks back into his chair.

2.2. A Proposal.
Slickshot's ears pick up a noise. He looks towards the back of the room, and sees a woman sitting at a table. She's wearing a mask, and a hood. 

Slickshot:
Where did you- Sorry, ma'am. We're closed for now.

The woman gets up from the table, and walks up to him. It's the Hooded Woman from before. Her outfit is purple, with a mixture of blue on the left and green on the right. Her hood is connected to a cape.

Hooded Woman:
Hello Slick.

Slickshot's ears pick up. 

Slickshot:
...Do I know you?

The Hooded Woman removes her mask. Slickshot is shocked to see who it is!

Slickshot: 
What!? I thought-

The Hooded Woman puts her mask back on.

Hooded Woman:
Yes, it's me. Call me "The Lady" now.

Slickshot is confused.

The Lady:
I heard everything that happened. Do you want to know why this is happening to you?

Slickshot shrugs his shoulders.

Slickshot:
Why?
The Lady:
Because she doesn't love you.

Slickshot's ears are lowered, and a frustrated look appears on his face. 

The Lady:
And who could blame her? You're just average.
Slickshot:
Why are you doing this?
The Lady:
To help you. What if I help to turn you into a new man? A man that no woman could resist? 

Slickshot's ears perk up. The Lady's eyes glow green, and she circles her hands around each other.

The Lady:
Kool ta tahw uoy nac emoceb. 

A green ball of smoke appears in her hands, and she throws it onto Slickshot's face! Slickshot grabs his face. The smoke disappears, and Slickshot wipes his face. A green mirror materializes in The Lady's hands.

The Lady:
Look.

Slickshot looks at the mirror, and sees that his face has changed! He looks handsome! A thought comes to his mind.

Slickshot:
What's the catch?

Suddenly, a voice emanates from the mirror. 

An Unknown Voice:
I'm glad you asked.

Slickshot jumps back. Two orange eyes appear on the mirror.

An Unknown Voice:
You will be the leader of our new army.
Slickshot:
And who are you?

The orange eyes turn into white and orange fire. The fire shoots out of the mirror, and turn into a figure that is taller than The Lady! He is wearing a white and orange suit that covers his entire body, with a cape on the back. Two horns protruding from the top of his mask, and a horn is attached to each shoulder pad.

Slickshot:
Wait! Is that-
The Destroyer:
Call me "The Destroyer."
Slickshot:
How comforting.
The Destroyer:
Despite my name, Slickshot, I can create a new life for you. You've seen what we can do for you already. We will do even greater things for you if you join us.

Slickshot turns around and ponders over the situation.

The Destroyer:
Are you really going to reject our generous proposal for a woman that doesn't love you?

A frown appears on Slickshot's face. He turns around.

Slickshot:
I'm in.
The Destroyer and The Lady:
Good.

2.3. Broken Home.
Slickshot is taken to a secret location. He undergoes extensive training. In a training room, he is fighting a robot. He has to decapitate the robot in order to win. Slickshot aims for the head, but the robot manages to deflect Slickshot's attacks. The robot manages to hit Slickshot in the face. He falls down, and struggles to get back up. Suddenly, a voice is heard from the speaker in the room. It's The Destroyer's.

The Destroyer:
Get up, Slick. 
Slickshot: 
Just... Give me a moment...
The Destroyer:
You'll rest after the job is complete.

Slickshot doesn't get up.

The Destroyer:
Heh. No wonder why your mate is cheating on you. 

Slickshot's pupils contract.

Slickshot:
Don't go there...

Then The Lady's voice is heard on the speaker.

The Lady:
Maybe we chose the wrong man, darling, if we can call Slick that. 

Slickshot's ears grow longer.

Slickshot:
Shut up!!!
The Destroyer:
If you are a real man, Slick, then finish the job.

Slickshot's canines, and claws, grow longer. He looks up at the robot, and it turns into his Soulmate. Slickshot leaps towards the robot in a fury of rage! The robot throws a fist at Slick, and Slickshot catches it. Slickshot then rips the arm off of the robot, and slaps the robot in the head with it! While the robot stumbles from the blow, Slickshot grabs the robot's neck with his teeth and rips its head off! The robot's body falls to the ground. Slickshot spits the robot's head out of his mouth. He crawls on all fours, and begins to growl. A doorway opens up, and The Lady and The Destroyer appears. They examine Slickshot's handywork, and are pleased.

The Lady:
Good boy, Slick. You're man enough after all.
The Destroyer:
Now, you have one more test. We made something for you that will help you to complete it.

Back at The Den, upstairs in the bedroom, Slickshot's Soul-Mate is in bed with another man.

Man:
Has Slickshot come back yet?
Slickshot's Soul-Mate:
No. He's been gone for a while now.
Man:
And you're not worried?
Slickshot's Soul-Mate:
Honestly, I don't care anymore. I'm with my real man now.

The two of them kiss each other. Then a voice startles the two of them.

Stranger:
I finally caught you in the act.

The two of them look towards the entrance, and see the silhouette of a man in the darkness of the doorway. He has his wrist comp taking a picture of the two of them. His red eyes are glowing in the darkness. Slickshot's Soul-Mate recognizes the voice.

Slickshot's Soul-Mate:
Slick!?

Slickshot appears out of the darkness. Slickshot's Soul-Mate is taken aback by how attractive he is now.

Slickshot's Soul-Mate:
Slick! You... You look different!

She examines his body. Her lover looks at her with an annoyed look on his face.

Slickshot:
Don't feel bad, man. Whores don't care who they screw. They just want to have fun. Loyalty isn't a concept they're capable of learning. 

Slickshot's eyes contract. Slickshot's Soul-Mate leans back in response. 

Slickshot's Soul-Mate:
I... I'm so-
Slickshot:
What? Are you going to say "I'm sorry?" 

Slickshot starts to laugh. Slickshot's Soulmate and her lover feel uncomfortable.

Slickshot:
Babe, you not sorry... At least, not yet.

Slickshot raises his arm towards them, and an object on his wrist is shown.

Slickshot:
You like it? One of my new friends made it. He calls it the "eradicator." Let me show you how it works.

Slickshot's eradicator fires a red lightning bolt out of it! A red lightning bullet hits his Soul-Mate in the left side! She falls off the bed. Her lover tries to get out of the bed to attack Slickshot, but Slickshot aims his eradicator at him and shoots him! The bullet hits the man's abdomen. The man manages to pull the bullet out, and the bullet combusts.

Slickshot:
Ah. You're a fire type too, huh? I've got something for you too.

The lightning bullets on Slickshot's eradicator switch. The man tries to get out of bed again, but Slickshot fires another bullet at him. This time, it's a blue water bullet. The man is hit in the chest, and falls back into the bed. Slickshot fires four more water bullets into the man, and his body goes limp in the bed! The man reverts back into an orb. Slickshot walks towards the other side of the bed. He sees his Soul-Mate lying on the ground. She raises her hand, while the other one covers her bullet wound.

Slickshot's Soulmate:
Slick... Please...

Slickshot looks down on her with a vacant expression. He stares into her eyes. A smile forms across his face.

Slickshot:
Now, you're sorry.  

He raises his eradicator at her. The water bullets switch back to lightning bullets. She stares at the barrel, and closes her eyes. Slickshot shoots her 15 more times! She reverts back into an orb. Slickshot's eyes dilate, and he takes a deep breath. He collects the two orbs. At the back of the room, a green smoke appears. The Destroyer and The Lady appear. Slickshot turns around, gets down on one knee, and bows to them. She lifts his hands, and reveals the two orbs to them.

The Destroyer:
Your training is now complete. Now, it's time to hunt down your real targets.

Suddenly, the group hears a knock at the front door. A female voice is heard.

Female Voice #1:
Hey Slick, is everything okay? 

Another female voice is heard after that.

Female Voice #2:
We heard a loud noise. Are you alright?

Slickshot recognizes the voices.

Slickshot:
That's Eviscera and Matta.
The Destroyer:
Send them away.
Slickshot:
Wait. They might be helpful...

Slickshot opens the door, and Eviscera and Matta are standing in front of him. They're shocked at his new appearance.

Eviscera:
Slick-Woah!
Matta:
What happened to you?
Slickshot:
Something wonderful. Come in, come in.

The two women walk inside, and Slickshot closes the door.

Slickshot:
Remember when you said that you two wanted to help me?
Matta:
Yes.
Eviscera:
The offer still stands.
Slickshot:
Well then, I'm all in.

The two girls smile at him.

Slickshot:
However, I also have a proposition for you two as well. 

The two women look at each other, and then turn back to Slickshot with conviction.

Eviscera:
Whatever it is, we accept.

Slickshot smiles at them.

Slickshot:
Great! Let me introduce you to my two new friends.

Slickshot turns to the stairs behind the two women. Eviscera and Matta turn around, and see The Destroyer and The Lady on the stairway. 

2.4. Car Chase.
Embercore an Stareye land outside The Den. 

Stareye:
Do you think things will go better this time?
Embercore:
I'm determined to make it so. 

The two of them enter the building. They don't see anybody inside until they hear voices coming from the back. Slickshot is sitting in his usual place, but with his back turned. Eviscera and Matta are talking to him. Eviscera is sitting on Slickshot's desk, while Matta is sitting on Slickshot's lap. Stareye and Embercore walk up to them. Eviscera notices the two of them approaching.

Eviscera:
Hey Slick, we have company.

The chair turns around, and Slickshot and Matta are revealed. Stareye's and Embercore's jaws drop when they see Slickshot's new appearance.

Embercore:
Slick!?

Slickshot smiles.

Slickshot:
Hey ladies, can you gives us a moment?

Eviscera and Matta get up, and walk to a nearby table. 

Slickshot:
Hey you two!
Stareye:
You look... different!
Slickshot:
I got a makeover.

Both Stareye and Embercore look concerned.

Embercore:
Where's your mate?

Slickshot's smile disappears.

Slickshot:
She left me.
Stareye:
What?

Slickshot stands up from his chair, and presses a button on his wrist comp. A picture appears showing his ex-Soulmate and her lover in bed. Embercore and Stareye are shocked. 

Slickshot:
I caught her and her lover defiling our bed. I told them to get out, and I haven't seen her since.

Slickshot presses the button on his wrist comp again, and the picture disappears. He sits back in his chair. Stareye looks at the two women. They stare back at him. Stareye turns back to Slickshot.

Stareye:
And who are your friends?
Slickshot:
...They're friends.
Embercore:
The pink and white woman is Eviscera. The orange and blue one is Matta. They're regulars here, and are known for their hi-jinks. But now, they're more than "friends," aren't they?

Slickshot averts his gaze. Embercore is disappointed.

Embercore:
Slick-
Slickshot:
Ember...

Slickshot turns his gaze back to Embercore.

Slickshot:
Some things aren't meant to last in Synervia.
Embercore:
But that's what Synervia is all about.
Slickshot:
If that were the case, my Soul-Mate wouldn't have cheated on me. 

Embercore doesn't know what to say. Stareye sees that the situation is escalating. He puts a hand on Embercore's shoulder.

Stareye:
We should leave. I'm sorry, Slick.

Slickshot nods his head.

Slickshot:
Take care, you two.

The two of them leave the building. Eviscera and Matta watch them leave. They scowl at Stareye and Embercore as they walk through the door. Outside, Stareye looks at Embercore.

Stareye:
Can you fly?

Embercore stays quiet. She looks defeated. Stareye presses on the transporter button on his wrist comp.

Stareye:
I think we'll drive home.

Stareye's car materializes. The two of them get into the vehicle, and drive away. As he's driving, Stareye glances at Embercore. She's still silent.

Stareye:
Ember...

Embercore doesn't say anything.

Stareye:
Ember, say something. You're scaring me.

Embercore closes her eyes, and leans her head back into the seat.

Embercore:
I put Slickshot and Iceheart together. I feel like I failed them. 
Stareye:
You didn't fail them. Look, a lot of crazy things are happening right now but we'll fix it. We're a team, remember? You can rely on me.

Embercore smiles. She leans over, and kisses him on the cheek.

Embercore:
Thank you.

Stareye smiles. Embercore leans against the door, and looks out the window. Suddenly, she exclaims:

Embercore:
Watch out!

Stareye looks to his right, and a pink car hits them! The driver inside is a woman wearing a full-bodied pink and white suit. Stareye manages to regain control of the car. Then, a orange car appears! The driver is also a woman that is wearing a full-bodied orange and blue suit. This time, on the left. The orange car slams into Stareye's car, forcing it into the pink one. Stareye's car is sandwiched in the middle. A harpoon gun appears in the middle of the pink and orange cars, and they fire harpoons into the doors of Stareye's car!

Stareye:
Suit up!

Stareye and Embercore transform into their superhero suits. Far away, someone is monitoring the situation through a scope. The sights of the scope land on Stareye's car. The sky turns red. Red lightning hits the trunk of Stareye's car! A bullet appears out of the lightning. Both Stareye and Embercore feel the impact.

Stareye:
What was that!?

Embercore turns around, and looks out the rear window. She sees a hole in the trunk, and a bullet inserted into the floor.

Embercore:
Something hit the car.
Stareye:
What is it?
Embercore:
I don't know.

The mystery shooter tries to aim his scope on Stareye's car again. He aims at the rear window, and fires again. Another lightning bullet flies through the rear window of Stareye's car. It lands right behind Stareye's chair! Stareye and Embercore turn around. Embercore looks out of the window on the passenger's side. 

Embercore:
I can't see anything.

Stareye goes to the computer on the front of the car. A red light is flashing on it. He presses on the red light, and a model of the car appears. The sides of the car are glowing red. Stareye presses on the sides of the model. The doors pop off of Stareye's car, freeing the vehicle from the harpoons! Then the doors reappear on Stareye's car.

Stareye:
There we go!

Stareye turns the steering wheel to the right, and he rams his car into the pink one on the right! The car gets shoved off of the road. Then, Stareye rams his car into the orange car on the left. He presses down on the gas pedal, and his car shoves the orange one away. Stareye's car flies down the road. The shooter tries to track Stareye's car.

Shooter:
They're getting away.

The pink and orange cars have cameras in it. The cameras are being watched by The Destroyer and The Lady. The cameras follow Stareye's car, and notice that it is heading for a nearby tunnel.

The Destroyer:
They're heading for the tunnel. Tracker, get into your vehicle and take them out. 

The Lady telepathically communicates to the woman in the pink car. The eyes of the woman in the pink car turn green.

The Lady (Telepathically):
You will cut them off at the end of the tunnel.
Woman in Pink Car:
On it.

Next, The Lady telepathically communicates to the woman in the orange car. Her eyes turn green.

The Lady (Telepathically):
You will trap them inside the tunnel after Tracker pushes them in.
Woman in Orange Car:
Roger that.

The pink car drives off into the distance. Embercore notices this.

Embercore:
The pink car is driving away.

Stareye gets suspicious.

Stareye:
Something's not right...

They continue to get chased by the orange car. Lightning strikes the road, and it transforms into a green truck. It's the shooter: The Tracker. He joins the orange car. Stareye notices this.

Stareye:
A third car?

Stareye's car makes a right turn, and runs into traffic.

Stareye:
Oh no!
Embercore: 
Turn right!

Stareye's turns to the right, and dodges a couple of cars.

Embercore:
Left!

Stareye turns to the left, and dodges more traffic. 

Embercore:
Right!

Stareye turns to the right, and his car gets hit by the orange car! It shoves Stareye's car closer towards the middle of the road. The Tracker's truck appears behind them! A gun appears on the top of it, and it fires lightning bullets at Stareye's car. Stareye and Embercore duck. Most of the bullets hit the road, but some of them hit the trunk of Stareye's car. Embercore lowers the window, and extends her hand out. Yellow and red fire shoots out of her hand, and it hits the orange car. The car catches fire, and stops moving. Stareye's car pushes it out of the way, and the car hits the side of the road. The car disappears, and the driver flies up into the air to avoid getting hit by traffic.

Stareye:
Nice shot, babe!

Embercore rolls the window back up, and smiles.

Embercore:
Thanks, babe!

In the air, the Woman in the Orange and Blue Suit contacts The Tracker with her wrist comp.

Woman in the Orange and Blue Suit:
My vehicle is down.
The Tracker:
I'll drive them into the tunnel and take them out as quick as possible.

Stareye's car, and The Tracker's truck, enter the tunnel. The Tracker rams his truck into the bumper of Stareye's car. Stareye presses down on the gas pedal, but so does The Tracker. The Tracker's truck drives up to the left side of Stareye's car. The Tracker slams his car into Stareye's, and shoves his car towards the other end of the tunnel. Stareye's car hits the wall of the tunnel, and sparks begin to fly. The gun top of The Tracker's car aims down at Stareye's car.

Stareye:
I'm getting tired of this!

Embercore points forward.

Embercore:
Ahead of us!

Stareye looks forward. At the end of the tunnel, the pink car appears. It's horizontal, and blocks the exit. Stareye smiles.

Stareye:
I thought so! Time to test something out.

Stareye turns to the computer at the front of the car. He presses a button, and the wheels on the car turn inward. The car begins to hover. The Tracker begins shooting his wrist comp, and the gun on the top of his car. Stareye turns his car to the right, and the car hovers over the wall of the tunnel. His car drives up the wall and to the ceiling. The Tracker is shocked! Stareye's car stops, and The Tracker's truck drives past them. Stareye car drops from the ceiling, turns over, and lands back on the ground. Stareye presses the same button again, and the wheels reappear. Stareye presses another button, and a lever appears in between him and Embercore. At the rear of the car, a rocket materializes. Stareye grabs the lever.

Stareye:
Hang on!

Stareye pushes the lever forward. A black and white flame appears out of the rocket! Stareye and Embercore are shoved against their seats due to the velocity. The car flies towards The Tracker's truck, and hits it from behind! The Tracker turns around, and sees Stareye's car. Stareye's eyes contract, and he glares at The Tracker! The Tracker slams on the breaks, and the rocket forces the two cars to continue forward. The Tracker presses on the gas pedal again, and turns his truck sideways. The front of Stareye's car goes underneath the side of The Tracker's truck. The Tracker lowers the window on the driver's side, and extend his arm out. The gun on the top of his car lowers.

Embercore:
Star!

Stareye's eyes dilate. He pulls the lever back, and presses down on the brake. Stareye's car stops in its tracks, and launches The Tracker's truck forward! The Tracker turns to the right, and sees that his truck is going to hit red car! On the camera inside the red car, The Destroyer and the The Lady see The Tracker's truck coming forward.

The Destroyer and The Lady:
No!

The driver inside the pink car gets out, and flies up into the air. Inside his truck, The Tracker disappears. His truck hits the pink car, freeing up the exit to the tunnel. Stareye's car drives through the exit, and goes around the two destroyed vehicles. Stareye turns his car around, and presses on the brakes. His car is damaged. Stareye's eyes glow white, and he presses his hands on the car. The car is engulfed in a black and white light, and it gets repaired. The Tracker's truck, and the pink car, disappear. Stareye and Embercore look around, but they don't see anybody. Stareye sniffs the air, but he doesn't get any scents. Embercore's eyes turn red, and she starts scanning the area for any signs of someone's consciousness. She can't detect anything.

Embercore:
Whoever's behind this could still be around, but I couldn't see anybody or detect their consciousness.
Stareye: 
And I can't smell anybody either.
Embercor:
We'll hideout somewhere before we head home. I want to make sure that no one follows us. We'll change cars, and then I'll take us home.
Stareye:
Sounds like a plan.

Stareye's car turns around, and drives away. On the top of a nearby building, The Tracker and the two women in suits appear. They were all camouflaged by The Tracker. They look down, and watch Stareye's car drive away. 

The Tracker:
That went well...

All three of them get a call on their wrist comps. It's The Destroyer and The Lady.

The Destroyer:
Time for plan number two. 

Meanwhile, Stareye drives to a new location. Stareye and Embercore get out of the car. Stareye collects the two bullets that hit his car.

Stareye:
What are these?
Embercore:
We'll answer that question when we get home. 

Stareye presses on the transporter button on his wrist comp, and his car disappears. Embercore presses on the same button on her wrist comp, and her car appears. It's yellow. The two of them get into the car, and they drive away. The Tracker and the two women watch them drive away from the roof of a building. They follow them.

2.5. Home Invasion.
Stareye and Embercore arrive at Synervian Castle. They go into the living room. 

Embercore:
Did you see anything?
Stareye:
No. I didn't even smell anybody. 

Stareye starts thinking.

Stareye:
Perhaps the culprit is concealing their presence somehow? 
Embercore:
By the way, good job with the driving back there. 
Stareye:
Thanks. I've been tinkering with my vehicle a bit. Looks like the upgrades came in handy.

Stareye pulls out the two bullets.

Stareye:
Now, let's see if we can get a clue from these... things.

Stareye's eyes glow white, and he touches one of the bullets with his finger. He sees what the bullet is made up of.

Stareye:
It seems to be made up of fire. 

The tip of Stareye's finger glows white, and he touches the bullet again. Half of the bullet freezes, and melts away. In the middle of the bullet, there is a small blinking green light.  

Stareye:
What is that?

Embercore walks towards Stareye's left side. There is a window behind them. Embercore notices the light inside the bullet.

Embercore:
Is this a-

Suddenly, a bullet bursts through the window and hits Embercore in the back! She falls to the floor!

Stareye:
Ember!

A red lightning ball flies through the window! Stareye covers Embercore. The ball explodes, sending Stareye across the room! The lightning doesn't effect Embercore, but it creates a hole in the living room wall. Red lightning enters through the window, and it materializes into The Tracker! He aims his eradicator at Stareye, and fires a bullet into him. The bullet hits Stareye in the head! Stareye goes limp on the floor. White wind comes through the hole in the living room wall, and it materializes into the woman wearing a pink and white suit. Blue mud comes out of the floor. It materializes into the woman wearing the orange and blue suit.

Woman in Pink and White Suit:
Well, that was easier than I thought.

The Tracker is confused.

The Tracker:
Wait... They're not turning back into orbs.

Stareye's body starts to glow white. It's trying to force the bullet out! He raises his head, and looks towards Embercore. Embercore moans a bit, but she's not moving. Stareye starts to crawl towards her, but The Tracker gets in front of him.

 

Woman in the Pink and White Suit:
They're tougher than I thought.
Woman in the Orange and Blue Suit:
What do we do now?

The Tracker kicks Stareye away from Embercore. 

The Tracker:
I'll shoot them again. No! All three of us will finish them off together. I want to make sure we finish the job properly.

Stareye looks up, and sees the three strangers above him and Embercore. The Tracker aims his eradicator athim. The two women stretch their hands out towards him, and they start glowing. Stareye looks at Embercore. She's not moving. She can't help him. Then, something stirs inside of him. A beast has awakened, and it's furious! Stareye's pupils contract! His canines grow larger, and he starts growling. The bullet falls out of his head. The Tracker's eyes widen in shock.

The Tracker:
Shoot him!

The Tracker fires his eradicator at Stareye. The women in the pink and white suit fires mini white wind blades from her hands. The women in the orange and blue suit shoots blue crystal daggers at him. An ice shield forms around Stareye's body, and it protects him from the attacks! The ice absorbs the weapons, and then falls off Stareye's body. Stareye's body grows larger, morphing into a feral black and white creature. He looks up at the three with angry eyes. The Tracker panics.

The Tracker:
Retreat!

The three intruders fly through the opening of the building, and leave Synervian Castle. The creature bursts through the opening to the castle to try and swallow them, but he doesn't reach them. The creates walks outside, revealing itself. It's a dino-canine. It roars at the three intruders. The three of them turn around to face the beast that they have unleashed.

2.6. Stareye's Rampage.
Stareye's eyes glow white, and it shoots ice breath at the intruders. The three intruders fly out of the way, and get higher in the air. The Tracker turns to the woman in the pink and white suit.

The Tracker:
Put him on his back.
Woman in the Pink and White Suit:
No problem!

The woman runs towards Stareye at an incredible speed. She runs around him, and a large tornado comes from underneath him! It raises him up into the aim, and turns him onto his back. The woman runs back to The Tracker. He then turns to the woman in the orange and blue suit.

The Tracker:

Use your plants to subdue him.

The woman stretches out her hands, and tree roots come out of the ground and tie up Stareye.

The Tracker:
Perfect!

The Tracker shoots two lightning bombs at Stareye. Oncer again, an ice barrier forms around Stareye and protects him from the fireballs. Inside the shield, Stareye rips off the vines and frees himself. The ice shield disappears, and Stareye faces the three intruders.

Woman in the Pink and White suit:
Maybe I should play him a song.

The woman transforms into her animal form. It's a ptero-eagle. She flies towards Stareye, and a emits a loud screech. Stareye shrinks away, and shakes his head. Then, he opens his mouth and shoots his frost breath breath at her. She flies higher into the air, and misses the ice breath. The woman in the orange and blue suit turns into a digger. Her tail has a stinger on the tip, and she puts it in Stareye's left hind leg! Stareye yells out in pain, and his leg goes numb. He falls over on his left side. The digger opens its mouth, and mud shoots out of it. It encases Stareye, sealing him in a cocoon. Stareye shoves his head through the cocoon, but the ptero-eagle lands on top of his head. Her talons wrap around Stareye's snout, closing his jaws shut. She emits another shriek. Stareye shakes his head, but he can't release her grip. Stareye's eyes glow white again, and the mud cocoon freezes. Stareye breaks the cocoon, and throws the ptero-eagle onto the ground. She releases her grip on Stareye's mouth.

Stareye grabs one of the ptero-eagle's legs, and throws her to the digger. The digger dings into the ground, and gets away. The ptero-eagle lands on the ground. She tries to get up, but Stareye opens his mouth and shoots his ice breath at her. She's frozen in a block of ice! The ground underneath Stareye starts to shake. The digger comes out of the ground and tries to bite Stareye. Stareye turns around and slaps her with his tail. The digger flies across the ground. Stareye walks towards her. The digger raises her head, and shoots mud out of her mouth! It hits Stareye in the face, and he's blinded. In the air, Slickshot takes the opportunity to shoot Stareye. A lightning bullet hits Stareye in the back! Stareye roars in pain, but this just makes him angrier. The mud on his face freezes over, and disintegrates. Stareye looks up into the air, and sees The Tracker. He fires his ice breath at him. The Tracker flies away. Stareye hears footprints behind him. He turns around, and sees the digger. She curls into a ball, and starts rolling towards him. Seizing his chance, Stareye fires his ice breath at her and freezes her in ice. She continues to roll as a ice ball. Stareye head-butts her, and she flies across the ground and lands on her left side. Stareye's body glows white, and the bullet in his back pops out and falls to the ground.

The Tracker:
Hey!

Stareye looks down, and sees The Tracker on the ground. 

The Tracker:
I'm the one that shot ya girl, remember!?

Stareye charges at The Tracker. The Tracker smiles, turns around, and runs away. The digger's ice block begins to crack as the diamond spikes on the creature's back begin to move. Meanwhile, Stareye continues to pursue The Tracker. Stareye roars at The Tracker out of rage. The Tracker runs around a tree, and stops. He camouflages, and disappears. Stareye's snout appears around the corner. He sniffs the air, but doesn't smell anything. He extends his head more so he can see around the corner, and looks down. He doesn't see anything. While Stareye is looking around, a new creature appears behind him. It attacks Stareye by grabbing him by the neck. Stareye shakes the creature off. He turns around to face it. It's a green and red dino-canine. The Tracker howls, and then growls at Stareye. Stareye growls back. 

The two creatures charge at each other. The Tracker evades Stareye's attack, and jumps onto Stareye's back. He turns around, and grabs the top of Stareye's neck. Stareye shakes bis head, but The Tracker holds on. He rams his body into a nearby tree, but The Tracker holds on. Then Stareye rolls onto the ground, and smashes The Tracker! The Tracker lets go. Stareye turns around, and tries to bite The Tracker. The Tracker dodges the attack, and grabs Stareye's ear. The two of them make eye contact. Stareye glares at The Tracker. Stareye tries to bite The Tracker, but The Tracker is just out of reach. Then Stareye swings his head to the right, and makes contact with Stareye's body. Stareye bites down on The Tracker's side! The Tracker yells out in pain, and he lets go of Stareye's ear. Stareye throws him, and The Tracker hits a tree. The Tracker looks up, and Stareye hits him on the face with his claws. The Tracker hits the ground. Stareye goes down to grab The Tracker, but The Tracker runs underneath him. He bites down on Stareye's leg. Stareye kicks him off. The Tracker runs back up to Stareye's leg, but Stareye swings his tail at him. His tail smacks The Tracker in the face, sending him flying backwards! The Tracker falls to the ground. 

The Tracker tries to get back up. Stareye bites down on The Tracker's leg. The Tracker howls in pain. He falls back down. Stareye grabs The Tracker's snout, and bites down on it. He shakes The Tracker head left to right, and then slams his head down to the ground. The Tracker tries to move, but his body fails him. Stareye bites down on The Tracker's neck, but then a voice calls out:

Female Voice:
Stop!

Stareye turns around, and sees Embercore limping towards him. Stareye starts growling, but he doesn't let go of The Tracker. Embercore stops moving. She extends her hand down low. 

Embercore:
Easy, Star. It's me. I'm not going to hurt you...

She continues to walk up to Stareye, albeit slowly. Embercore's eyes turn red, and she starts to telepathically communicate with Stareye.

Embercore (Telepathically):
I'm Embercore. I am your mate. You will listen to me.

Stareye's eyes turn red, and he hears her voice in his head. He shakes his head in retaliation.

Embercore (Telepathically):
You transformed in order to save me. Now, I have to save you before you make a terrible mistake. Put him down.

Stareye's eyes dilate a bit. He drops The Tracker. The Tracker transforms back into a man. 

Embercore (Telepathically):
Good. Now, look at me.

Stareye looks at Embercore. He extends her hand out, and Stareye sniffs it. The scent is familiar. He allows Embercore to touch his snout. Her eyes turn red. His eyes turn red as well.

Embercore (Telepathically):
I'm going to begin the imprinting process.

Stareye's subconscious aligns with Embercore, and Stareye transforms back into his human form. 

2.7. The Tracker's Identity Revealed.
Stareye looks up at Embercore. His eyes have fully dilated. Embercore smiles at him. She helps him to stand up.

Embercore:
How are you feeling? 

Stareye:
I've felt better, but I'm alright. Oh! By the way...

Stareye touches Embercore's side. Her body glows white, and the bullet falls out of her body. Her body heals up. Stareye grabs the bullet, and examines it. 

Stareye:
It's the same kind of object that we found in my car. However, this one seems to be water-based. 

Stareye and Embercore look down at The Tracker.

Stareye:
This is definitely the same assailant from before.

The Tracker begins to stir. He gets on all fours. Stareye reaches down, and takes The Tracker's mask off. It dematerializes. The Tracker looks up, and Stareye and Embercore are shocked to see who it is. 

Stareye and Embercore:

Slickshot!?

Slickshot's ears are taller than they were before, and his pupils are contracted. He gives a smirk, revealing his canines. They've grown as well.

Slickshot:
Welp... I guess the jig is up.
Embercore:
Why would you do this!?
Slickshot:
I was promised a better life, so I took it. 

A thought occurs to Embercore.

Embercore:
...Did you hurt your Soul-Mate too?

Slickshot forms an evil smile on his face.

Slickshot:
I made her pay for cheating on me. I caught her in bed with another man, but I didn't allow them to leave. I put them to slumber. I have their orbs. They're my trophies, and I'm going to add your orbs to my collection as well.

Stareye:
Who are you working for? It has to be those two other intruders that I fought as well.
Slickshot:
Heh. Not quite. 

The two women in suits land next to Slickshot. Stareye and Embercore back up. They take their masks off, revealing their identities as Eviscera and Matta! 

Embercore:
Eviscera!? Matta!?
Eviscera:
We joined Slickshot to help take you two down.

Stareye gets back on his feet.

Slickshot:
And that's exactly what we're going to do! Matta.

Matta's eyes glow blue, and she extends her hands. Tree roots come out of the ground, and tie up Stareye and Embercore. 

Slickshot:
Divide and conquer!

Eviscera's turn white, and she lets out a loud shriek at Embercore! Embercore is sent flying to the left! Slickshot's eyes turn red, and he shoots lighting beams out of his eyes. They hit Stareye, and he is sent flying back towards Synervia Castle. 

Slickshot:
Star is mine. You two handle Ember.
Eviscera and Matta:
Roger that!

Slickshot flies off to face Stareye. 

2.8. Embercore vs. The Hi-Jinx Girls.

Embercore stirs up, and gets on all fours. She looks up, and sees Eviscera and Matta standing over her.

Embercore:

I knew you two liked to be rambunctious, but trying to put someone to slumber is too far. Even for you two. Why are you doing this?
Eviscera:
Because, unlike Slick's first mate, Matta and I actually love him.
Matta:
Plus, we're with friends now. We're no longer outcasts.
Eviscera:
You can call us "The Hi-Jinx Girls" now.

Matta:
And the fun is just beginning.

Matta's eyes turn blue, and she extends her hands. The ground begins to engulf Embercore! Embercore struggles, but she can't free herself.

Matta:
Keep struggling. It will only quicken your end.

Embercore's eyes glow red, and a psychic blast emits from her head. It knocks Matta and Eviscera backwards! The ground stops encasing Embercore, and she flies out of the ground. Eviscera is angry. She gets up from the ground, and flies up to Embercore. Her eyes glow white, and she screams her screech at Embercore. Embercore is hit by it, and flies backwards. She extends her hand, and shoots fire out of it. The fire hits Eviscera in the face, and wraps around her mouth! Embercore flies towards her, and kicks her in the face! Eviscera falls to the ground. Matta raises her hands up, and tree roots shoot up from the ground and go after Embercore. Embercore flies around them, and shoots fire beams out of her eyes. The fire beams burn the roots down. Matta flies up to Embercore, and her eyes glow blue. Crystals from her hair turn into daggers, and shoot towards Embercore. Embercore uses a psychic force field to stop the daggers, and forces them to fall to the ground. Embercore puts her hands on her eyes, and a psychic blast hits Matta! Matta falls to the ground. Eviscera runs up to Matta.

Matta:
We have to get her back on the ground so I can trap her again.
Eviscera:
I'll handle that. Just stand by, and be ready.

Eviscera starts running at super-speeds towards Embercore. Embercore swings a fist at her, but Eviscera runs right past it. Eviscera starts laughing as she starts running around Embercore.

Eviscera:

Too slow!

She lets out another shriek at Embercore. Embercore is hit, and she starts to levitate off of the ground. Eviscera's speed creates a tornado that engulfs Embercore! Embercore tries to fly against the current, but Eviscera jumps up towards her and creates wind knives in her hands. She throws the knives at Embercore. Embercore is knocked backwards by them, and gets caught in the funnel of the tornado. Matta extends her hands out, and a dust storm forms.

Matta:
Eviscera! Get out of there!

Eviscera flies out of the tornado. The dust storm goes inside the tornado. Embercore gets bombarded by rocks! Eviscera lowers her hand, and the tornado drops Embercore onto the ground! Embercore tries to get up. Eviscera jumps onto Embercore, and pins her down to the ground. Eviscera's eyes turn red, and she lets out her screech. Embercore covers her ears, and she yells out in pain! Eviscera smiles. Matta gets up, and extends her hands. Vines come out of the ground, and bind Embercore to the ground! Eviscera gets off of Embercore. Mud forms around Embercore, and starts to encase her in a cocoon! Embercore tries to destroy the vines, but it's too late! The cocoon fully forms and turns into rock, trapping her inside. Eviscera and Matta turn to each other, and laugh. They can't believe that they won!

Then, the cocoon begins to shake. A crack forms, and then another one. One of Embercore's fists punches through the cocoon. Matta extends her hands, and the cocoon begins to repair itself. Embercore's fist goes back inside the cocoon. Suddenly, the cocoon explodes! Eviscera covers her head to protect herself from the incoming rocks. Matta raises her hands, and the rocks fly away from her and Eviscera. Embercore's body is completely engulfed in flames! The vines that had entangled Embercore are burned off, and she frees herself! Her body returns to normal. She turns to Eviscera and Matta, and her eyes are red. Suddenly, Eviscera and Matta levitate off the ground. Embercore flies forward, and clotheslines both of them! Eviscera and Matta fall to the ground. Embercore's hair turns into tentacles, and they grab Eviscera and Matta. They hold the two women in place. Eviscera tries to let out a screech, but one of Embercore's tentacles wraps around her mouth.

Embercore:
That's enough out of you. 

2.9. Stareye vs. Slickshot the Tracker.

Concurrently, Slickshot and Stareye arrive back at the Synervian Castle. Stareye kicks Slickshot off him off, and Slickshot falls onto his back. Stareye gets back up. Slickshot jumps back onto his feet. 

Stareye:
You're better than this, Slick. Ember and I can help you.
Slickshot:
I don't need your help. I have everything that I want. All I need to do to keep it is to put you, and Ember, to slumber. I want to take you down personally. You've been a royal pain so far.

Stareye gets angry.

Stareye:
I remember that you told me to take care of Ember. That's exactly what I'm going to do.

Slickshot laughs.

Slickshot:
I was a fool when I said that. True love doesn't exist. Ember will leave you for someone better eventually. Someone... like me. 
Stareye:
Ember isn't like your-.
Slickshot:
They're all the same, Star. You're just not mature enough to see that. After I put the love of my life and her lover to slumber, I found solace in Eviscera and Matta. I forgot what it felt like to have someone crave you. I realize now that it's all about your looks. That's why my mate betrayed me. 
Stareye:
I'm mature enough to stay loyal to my mate. She's demonstrated that she's loyal to me, so I will remain loyal to her. Now, surrender.

Slickshot grins. 

Slickshot the Tracker:
No. I'll rather take your spirit orb as a trophy. 

Slickshot's presses a button on his wrist comp, and his mask materializes. Stareye raises his fists. The Destroyer appears on the roof of Synervian Castle. He watches the action unfold down below. Stareye and Slickshot stare at each other. Slickshot raises both of his arms, and his wrist guns fire at Stareye. Stareye ducks the bullets by getting on all fours. Slickshot runs up to Stareye, and throws a fist at him. Stareye catches the fist, and lands a blow to Slickshot's jaw. Slickshot knees Stareye in the abdomen, and then elbows him on the neck. Stareye falls to the ground. Slickshot tries to kick Stareye, but Stareye catches Slickshot's leg, and swings him onto his stomach. Stareye gets up, and puts Slickshot in an ankle lock! Slickshot yells out in pain. He does a forward somersault, and swings Stareye forward. Stareye lands by doing a somersault himself, and turns around to face Slickshot.

Slickshot aims his wrist guns at Stareye, and fires them. Bullets fly at him! He evades them, and gets back to Slickshot. Slickshot lowers one of his arms. Stareye lunges forward, and Slickshot's hand shoots a lightning knife out of it with a burning green blade. He shoves the knife towards Stareye, but Stareye grabs Slickshot's hand. Slickshot puts his other hand on the knife, and tries to shove it at Stareye. Stareye manages to keep the knife at bay. Slickshot taps his thumb on the knife, and the blade extends towards Stareye. Stareye ducks his head, just barely missing the blade. The knife turns into a sword. Slickshot kicks Stareye in the abdomen, and Stareye lets go of Slickshot. Slickshot swings the sword at Stareye. Stareye ducks it. Slickshot swings again, and Stareye leaps backwards. Slickshot swings downward, and Stareye spins around it to the left. While he's turning, Stareye creates his own black ice sword! Stareye swings his sword at Stareye, and Slickshot blocks it with his sword. The swords collide! 

Stareye:
You're pretty good... Too good... Where did you learn those moves?

Slickshot smiles.

Slickshot the Tracker:
I was trained to be the ultimate hunter, but I have to thank you and Ember for the combat moves that I had to learn.
Stareye:
What does that mean?
Slickshot the Tracker:
You're smart, Star. Figure it out.

Slickshot shoves Stareye back, and elbows him in the head. Slickshot swings his sword. Stareye tries to block it, but the sword slices his chest! Stareye covers his chest. Stareye swings around, and kicks Stareye in the head. Stareye falls onto his back. Slickshot aims his sword downwards, and shoves it down towards Stareye. Stareye moves his body out of the way, and the sword plunges into the ground. It barely misses his neck! Stareye kicks Slickshot in the abdomen, and he flies backwards. He loses his sword, and the sword dematerializes. Slickshot lands on his back. Stareye scrambles to get back to his feet. He runs towards Slickshot. Slickshot aims one of his wrist guns at Stareye, and fires it. A bullet hits Stareye in the chest, and he falls onto his back! He rolls onto his belly. Slickshot gets up, and aims both of his wrist guns at Stareye. Stareye kicks Slickshot in the lower abdomen. Slickshot gasps, and leans forward. Stareye quickly gets up, and punches Slickshot as hard as he can in the head. Slickshot spins around, and falls down on his stomach.

Stareye grabs the bullet that is in his chest, and rips it out! He crushes it in his hand, and then runs towards Slickshot. He wraps his arm around Slickshot's neck, and then puts one of his knees on Slickshot's back. Slickshot tries to break free, but Stareye just tightens his grip. Slickshot gaps, and starts choking.

Stareye:
Give... up!

Slickshot turns invisible, and Stareye gets up from the ground. He sniffs the air, but he can't smell Slickshot. He continues to turn around, trying to find any trace of Slickshot. Suddenly, he gets shot in the lower abdomen! Stareye bends over. Then, he's kicked in the rear and he lands on his hands and feet. Slickshot grabs the top of Stareye's hat, and pulls his head back. Slickshot's sword appears in his other hand. The blade goes in front of Stareye's neck. Slickshot smiles. Then, Stareye's body evaporates! The bullet that was inside his abdomen falls to the ground. Slickshot gets up and looks around. He can't find Stareye anywhere.

Slickshot the Tracker:
Come on, Star... Show yourself!

Suddenly, Slickshot gets hit in the lower abdomen! He gasps, and bends over. His arm with the sword in it is raised up. His elbow is hit, and his hand releases the sword. Stareye rematerializes. His body is completely made up of ice now. He bends down, put Slickshot on his shoulders, and power-bombs Slickshot onto his back! Slickshot is disorientated. Stareye puts on foot onto Slickshot's chest, and ice forms underneath his foot. Slickshot raises an arm, and shoots at Stareye. The bullet hits Stareye in the head, but the bullet disintegrates upon impact! Slickshot cannot believe it! The ice completely encases Slickshot except for his head, and he is frozen to the ground. Stareye looks down at him.

Stareye:
Now, who are you working for?

2.10. Stareye Meets The Lady and The Destroyer.
Suddenly, Stareye's eyes glow green. He gets hit with a psychic attack! He puts his hands on his head, and yells out in pain. His body returns to normal. His body freezes in place, and his arms and legs are stretched out. He rises into the air. He is turned around, and The Lady is floating in front of him. Her eyes are glowing green.

The Lady:
It seems that you and Ember have gotten the better of my teammates, Star.

Stareye tries to move, but it's futile. 

Stareye:
Who are you?
The Lady:
You can call me "The Lady." Whatever you desire, I can give it to you.
Stareye:
In that case, how about you surrender?

The Lady laughs.

Stareye:
Then you can't give me what I desire. 
The Lady:
Oh, I can. I just have to find something that you're lacking. Then, you will be mine.
Stareye:
Why are you doing this?
The Lady:
To punish Ember. She already lost her best friend Wrathenus, and soon she'll lose her mate.
Stareye:
Not gonna happen! You must've done something to Wrathenus. Where is she?
The Lady:
I know someone who can answer that for you.

The Lady puts her hands close to each other, and rotates them. A purple and green smoke appears around her hands, and a mini portal appears. The Destroyer is shown, covered in darkness. His eyes are green.

The Destroyer:
Ah. Stareye. It's nice to finally meet you.
Stareye:
And who are you?
The Destroyer:
Call me The Destroyer. My lovely mate had me listening in on your conversation, As for your question, I
have an answer: Wrathenus is gone. She has been put to slumber.

Stareye's eyes widen in shock. 

The Destroyer:
Don't look so sad, Star. You and Ember will be joining her. My lovely mate and I will take your places, and Synervia will be ours. Hatred will overtake the universe, and I will destroy anyone that gets in our way.
Stareye:
Big talk for someone who can't face me in person.
The Destroyer:
Oh, I will. I just need more power. 
The Lady:
But since I'm here, how about I give you a taste of my power?

The Lady uses her telepathic powers to enter into Stareye's mind. Stareye starts to scream in pain! In the distance, Embercore hears Stareye's screams. She stops reading Matta's mind, and turns towards Synervian Castle. She drops Eviscera and Matta to the ground, and she flies back to the castle. She sees The Lady torturing Stareye. Embercore's eyes turn red, and she sends a psychic blast towards The Lady. The Lady is hit by the blast! The portal disappears, and The Destroyer is gone. The Lady drops Stareye. Embercore flies towards Stareye to try and catch him. The Lady regains her composure, and sees Embercore. She gets frustrated, and whispers a curse.

The Lady:
Ekam reh yap. 

Her eyes glow green, and she sends a psychic attack towards Embercore. Embercore is hit, and she starts flying backwards! Stareye regains his composure, and stops himself from hitting the ground. He looks up, and sees Embercore falling in the distance. He flies into the air. He flies towards The Lady, but she flies out of the way just in time. Stareye flies up to Embercore, and catches her in his arms! He lands back onto the ground.

Stareye:
I've got you.

Embercore shakes her head, and looks up to see Stareye holding her. She blushes. 

Embercore:
Thank you.

Stareye puts her down, and she lands on her feet.

Embercore:
Nice catch.
Stareye:
I always have your back, partner.

Behind them, The Lady's eyes turn green and she outstretches her arms. In the distance, Eviscera and Matta are engulfed in green smoke and disappear. Slickshot notices this. He melts the ice surrounding him, and he frees himself. He gets back to his feet.

Slickshot the Tracker:
I'm not done yet!

Stareye and Embercore turn around.

The Lady:
Yes, you are! We lost this battle. It's time to regroup.
Stareye:
Oh no you don't!

Stareye and Embercore fly towards The Lady. Slickshot raises his hand, and a lightning bomb forms in his hand. He throws it at Stareye and Embercore. Embercore gets in front of Stareye before the bomb explodes. The bomb goes off!

Slickshot the Tracker:
Until next time, Star.

Green smoke engulfs Slickshot, and he disappears. The lightning disappears. Embercore was protecting Stareye from the lightning. The turn their attention back on The Lady. However, she is already beginning to disappear in the same green smoke.

The Lady:
We'll be back, Ember.

The Lady disappears in the smoke. Stareye turns to Embercore, but he's afraid of what he has to tell her. Embercore notices a sad look on his face.

Embercore:
What's wrong?
Stareye:
They... They got to her... Wrathenus.

Embercore realizes who he's talking about.

Embercore:
No...
Stareye:
Someone called The Destroyer told me that Wrathenus was put to slumber. Now, they're trying to take us down next.

Embercore is shocked. She doesn't know what to say.

Embercore:
...W-We'll worry about that later. Let's regroup, and fix our home, first. 
Stareye:
...Okay.
