Hyperdimension Neptunia: Land of the Goddesses: Episode 6-The Console War.

Episode 6: The Console War. The group heads back to Planeptune, and into Neptune’s Basilicom. Everybody is relieved to have escaped Celestia. Compa and Vert tend to any wounds that the group might’ve sustained during the escape. However,  Neptune’s attention is clearly on Historie. 

Neptune: Okay, Histoire. We’ve rescued you, but there’s a lot of questions that I have to ask you.

 

Neptune opens the book, and Histoire appears.

 

Histoire: Neptune! Goddesses! I’m so relieved that you’re alright. Thank you so much for saving me!
Neptune: No problem, Histoire! Umm… I’m so sorry for not being there for you! All of this is my fault.
Histoire: You were out doing your duties, Neptune. It was an unforeseen event that was out of your control. In fact, I imagine that you have a lot of questions right now, primarily about Arfoire and Rei Ryghts. Am I correct?
Neptune: Yeah… About them…
Noire: How come you never told us about those two?
Histoire: Well, I didn’t know how to tell you. All four of you goddesses were created periodically, before and after Arfoire turned evil. You all didn’t awake until after I took you four out of Celestia. That is why you don’t know who Arfoire and Rei Ryghts are. 

 

Compa and IF sit in chairs and listen in on the conversation. Vert sneaks up behind IF and places her on her lap. IF blushes.

Vert: So what they said were true? They were the original goddesses before us?
Histoire: Yes… Where did those two humans come from?
IF: Oh… We joined Neptune in order to help look for you.
Compa: We also helped Neptune to find the other three goddesses!

Histoire smiles.

 

Histoire: Well, it seems that some good came out of my kidnapping. You four goddesses finally met each other, and some humans have put their faith in the goddesses again. I apologize for not telling you about Arfoire and Rei, as well as not letting the four of you meet each other. I wanted you all to focus on running your lands.
Neptune: We could have done that, and be friends with each other.
Histoire: I don’t know. Before, Arfoire and Rei worked together. In time, Rei fell in love with Arfoire. 

 

Noire blushes.

 

Histoire: But Arfoire rejected her. In return, Rei Ryghts tried to overthrow Arfoire. Arfoire couldn’t bring herself to kill Rei, and her guilt led her into joining Rei. I was afraid that the same thing would happen if you four interacted with each other.

 

Noire blurts out a loud laugh.

 

Noire: W-W-What makes you think we would fall in love with each other!? T-T-That’s absurd! Am I right? Ha ha! Ha ha! Ha ha!

She slaps Neptune on the back three times as she laughs. Vert forms a curious smile across her face. Histoire laughs a bit, and smiles.

Histoire: In some ways, Noire, you remind me of Rei Ryghts.

Noire is stunned.

 

Histoire: Anyway, I think I might’ve made a mistake before. These two humans helped to bring you four together, along with your help Neptune. I think this was the best decision, since we now have to stop Arfoire and Rei from destroying Gameindustri. I trust that you all can do what I couldn’t do all those years ago.

Neptune: Don't blame yourself, Histoire. You helped us back then, but now it's our turn to help you. Arfoire and Rei Ryghts need you to rewrite history. I think we can do the same, but in a different way. Noire: You're thinking about saving them, aren't you? Blanc: That sounds a little far-fetched. Arfoire took us all down without breaking a sweat back in Lowee. Histoire: I may have an asnwer to that. Rei Ryghts created a Red Sharecite when Arfoire broke her heart. The Red Sharecite contains someone's dark desires, making them more powerful. If we can destroy the Red Sharecite, this could turn them back into their old selves. Neptune: Sounds like a plan. Vert: However, we need to keep you in a safe place so that those two won't get a hold of you again. Noire: That leaves Planeptune out of the question. Neptune: Hey! Noire: Face it, Neptune, if you didn't slack off all the time, you could have stopped Histoire from being kidnapped. Histoire: Noire, stop.

Noire's and Neptune's, eyes turn red for a second. Then they return to normal.

Neptune: Noire, could you get off my case for one second? Noire: And why should I do that? Neptune: I admit that I made a mistake in the past, but if it wasn't for me, you wouldn't have any friends right now! Noire: I-I could have gotten friends any time I wanted! I don't need you, or anybody else here!

Vert's, and Blanc's, eyes turn red for a second as well.

Vert: Wow, Noire. If you got off your high-horse for just a second, then maybe you would have a girlfriend by now. Noire: W-W-W-What are you saying, Vert!? Blanc: She's telling you to become a whore like she is. Vert: Excuse me? Blanc: You've turned poor IF into your little pet. Give her some room, won't ya? You do this even in public. Learn some decency. IF: I don't... necessarily... hate it...

Vert gets up, puts IF in the chair, and stands in front of Blanc.

Vert: Unlike Noire, I'm not afraid to show my love to people that I care about. IF: Love!? Noire: I don't love Ne- Vert: Besides, this is a topic that kids like you don't understand. Blanc: "Kid?" Vert: Maybe you should go through puberty first, and then we can continue this discussion.

Blanc's face turns bright red, and she bears her teeth. She gets up out of her chair and gets in Vert's face.

Blanc: I'm a grown woman, and the SAME AGE as you! Vert: You could have fooled me, flatty! Blanc: Neptune's chest is flat, just like mine! Neptune: Hey! When I transform, I'm almost as big as Vert!

The four goddesses continue to argue with each other. IF, Compa, and Histoire are shocked.

IF: What just happened?

From Celestia, Arfoire and Rei Ryghts are watching the drama unfold. Arfoire is using her magic to create a portal to help her, and Rei, to see. They're sitting in chairs in front of the portal.

Rei Ryghts: Looks like dissension has risen amongst the girls. Nice job with the spell, babe. Arfoire: Thanks. I just wish I had some popcorn while this was happening.

Rei Ryghs reaches down and picks up a bag of chips.

Rei Ryghts: I've got chips. Arfoire: That'll do.

Back in Planeptune, the drama continues.

Noire: Like I said, I don't need you guys. I never did. I can stop Arfoire and Rei by myself. Neptune: Ugh! Fine! Go back to Lastation and die alone. Noire: Gladly! I wish I never met you. All you've done was give me trouble! Vert: You're the one giving yourself grief. Blanc: Oh, shut up, both of you! Vert: Quiet child, the adults are talking. Blanc: That's it! I'm going back to Lowee. Screw all of you!

Blanc transforms into her goddess form, and leaves the Basilicom.

Vert: Well, since we're done here, how about we go back to Leanbox, Iffy? IF: Okay. Compa: What? If whispers something to Compa.

IF: I'm going to try and convince Lady Vert to come back. You try and do the same thing with Blanc. Tell Histoire to do the same thing with Nep. Compa: Oh, okay.

Vert transforms, takes IF, and they fly away.

Noire: Hmph! I should have left a long time ago. Neptune: I'm sooo sorry that I wanted you to have a life. Noire: Screw off!

Noire transforms, and leaves the building.

Histoire: Neptune, Arfoire and Rei Ryghts are still out there! Neptune: I'll stop them, even without the others.

Neptune walks out of the room and into her bedroom.

Histoire: Nep-

Histoire starts to fly after Neptune, but Compa blocks her off with her arm.

Compa: Let her go for now. She needs to cool off. Try talking to her in a little bit. She'll go after Noire later. Me and Iffy will handle Vert and Blanc. Compa runs out out of the room and out of the building. Back in Celestia, Arfoire's portal disappears.

Arfoire: Well, that was refreshing. Rei Ryghts: Quite. However, we need to get serious now. We need Histoire back. Arfoire: We should also kidnap those two humans as well. They're going to cause just as much trouble as those four will. Rei Ryghts: True, but I have to ask: What kind of spell did you put on them? Arfoire: I call it the Red Ring. It'll make the goddesses act on their deepest resentments with each other, preventing them from working together. Eventually, they'll hate each other so much that they'll go to war with each other... A Console War, if you will. Rei Ryghts: And when they fight each other, they'll cause a greater catastrophe than what we did all those years ago. Arfoire: The people will turn on them just like they turned on us, leaving their Sharecites drained of energy. They'll be powerless! Rei Ryghts: And when they're distracted, we'll get Histoire and those two human girls.

Hyperdimension Neptunia: Land of the Goddesses: Ep. 5-Celestia.

Episode 5: Celestia.
Purple Heart opens her eyes. She is hanging on the wall with her limbs in shackles. There is a gate blocking the entrance to the room. She turns to her left, and sees Black Heart and the others in the same predicament. She calls out to the others to wake them up.

Purple Heart: Noire! Guys! Wake up! 

Black Heart wakes up first, followed by the others.

Black Heart: Huh... What happened?
Green Heart: It seems that we've been captured, and are now in a dungeon.
White Heart: You don't say?

IF wiggles her right hand, but then she and the group hear footsteps coming towards them. It's the witch, Arfoire, from before. She opens the gate and walks towards them.

Arfoire: Welcome home, my four goddesses. 
Purple Heart: Home?
Arfoire: Yes. This is Celestia. To be clear, this is the Basilicom. Rei Ryghts and I use to live her years ago. This is also where Histoire and I created the four of you. 
Purple Heart: Histoire... Give her back!

Arfoire giggles.

Arfoire: I think she's better off with Rei and me. The last time she was with you, someone kidnapped her.

Purple Heart grits her teeth. 

Arfoire: You girls better get use to being her for the rest of your lives because you're not going anywhere. It's unfortunate that your human counterparts are stuck in this mess as well. You never should have brought them along.
Compa: It's better to be stuck here with them than let you destroy our home. 
Arfoire: Oh, really? And how is that working out for you? Hmm? 
Compa: ...We'll get out.
Arfoire: Good luck with that. I took all of your weapons while you were passed out. You're going to have to hope for a miracle to break out of here. Oh, and don't worry about your lands. Rei and I will take good care of them.

Arfoire turns around, and begins to leave the room.

Purple Heart: Wait!

Arfoire stops.

Purple Heart: Why are you making these monsters? 
Arfoire: Well, in order to take over any land, you'll need an army right? With the goddesses out of the way, the monsters will destroy the four lands, along with every man, woman, and child. Then, Rei and I can reshape Gameindustri into one land again by using Histoire's powers. The monsters also served as a great distraction for you four goddesses while I snuck into your Basilicom and kidnapped Histoire.
Green Heart: But how can Histoire help you?
Arfoire: Histoire is a tome, a book that records the history of the entire world. She is time itself. That is the power that Rei and I gave her when we created her. However, we can also use Histoire to rewrite the past. I can write all of you girls out of history, and place myself and Rei back where we belong: as your lords and masters! The past will be erased, and a new future can begin.
Black Heart: Heh! Seems to me you're just trying to hide your failures from when you two were in charge!

Arfoire turns around and slaps Black Heart!

Arfoire: I don't know what my past self was thinking, creating you four girls so that you can take Rei's and mine's place. You don't ever let a girl do a woman's job.
Purple Heart: What did you do? What happened that led you to do this?
Arfoire: ...Let'a just say I said something that hurt someone else, and I ended up causing a lot of heartache and damage in the process. The humans became afraid of me and Rei, which lead to the Sharecite losing its power. The world began to fall apart, which lead to the creation of you four and your lands. 
Green Heart: I get it. We were created to help regain the people's trust in the goddesses again.
Arfoire: And that would make your Sharecites more powerful, leading to a new age than was better than the previous one. At least, that was the idea. How stupid was I to think that could work.
Purple Heart: You should give your past self more credit. I think that plan can work.
Arfoire: Yeah... Right.
Black Heart: Just what did you say that caused all that damage anyway? I mean, words aren't weapons.
Arfoire: Really? Well, let's just say, Noire, I took a page out of your book and it didn't end well.
Black Heart: "My book?"
Arfoire: Hiding your true feelings can prevent you from finding true happiness. 

Arfoire turns around and leaves the room. Black Heart is left bewildered. She looks at Purple Heart, and then turns her head away when Purple Heart looks at her.

IF starts to wriggle her hand again. A bracelet on her right hand turns into a pickpocketing knife. She inserts it into the lock keeping the shackles on her wrists closed. 

IF: Compa's right. We'll be free in a bit. Arfoire didn't take "all" of our weapons... 
Green Heart: You're full of tricks, aren't you, Iffy?

IF blushes.

IF: I-I-It never hurts to have a secret weapon in case of emergencies. 

She wriggles her hand a little more until she hears a clicking sound. The lock on her shackles falls down onto the ground, and the shackles open. Once her hands are free, she leans down and opens the lock to the shackles constraining her feet. She jumps down to the ground and begins to free the others. Once the other women are freed of their bonds, they try to come up with a plan.

Purple Heart: Okay. First, we'll need to get our weapons back. Second, we need to find Histoire.
White Heart: Then we can take down Arfoire and Rei Ryghts.
Purple Heart: I don't know. I think we'll need to regroup and come up with a better plan. We should just get Histoire and escape.
Green Heart: I'll have to agree with Neptune. We don't know how powerful those two are. They are the original goddesses after all. 
White Heart: Hmph. Fine. I guess I'm outnumbered here.
IF: Then let's make our move.

IF walks towards the gate, and pickpockets the lock. The gate opens, and the ladies move out. They walk down a hallway that leads to a room blocked off by a gate on the left, and a staircase on the right. Their weapons are in the room. IF cracks the lock to the gate, and they gang retrieves their weapons. They walk up the staircase, and see a door. It's slightly ajar. There are two voices coming from inside the room. One of them is Arfoire, but the other is unknown. It is a woman's. The women peak through the door. They see Arfoire standing up, talking to a woman who is sitting down in a chair next to a table. A book is on the table.

IF: Is that Rei Ryghts?
Purple Heart: She's wearing goddess-like attire... Yeah, that must be her.

Purple Heart turns to the book on the table.

Purple Heart: That's Histoire on the table. 

Rei Ryghts: Is it finished?
Arfoire: Yes. However, I still think it would be best to just kill them.
Rei Ryghts: I know you see them as a mistake, but I think we can use them to our advantage in case we can't use Histoire to change the past. If we can brainwash them, we can use them to help us take over Gameindustri. 
Arfoire: Hmm... I don't know. I say we should just use Histoire to erase them from history.
Rei Ryghts: Every weapon we can get our hands on will ensure our chances of success. 
Black Heart: "Weapons?"

The other women shush Black Heart. 

Rei Ryghts: Trust me on this. We always need a plan b in case plan a doesn't work. Besides, once we take over Gameindustri again, we'll erase the goddesses anyway. Right now, though, we need all the help we can get.
Arfoire: ...Okay... I trust you.
Rei Ryghts: Just focus on the mission. Once we take control of the four lands, we can return to the glory days. 

Rei Ryghts stands up and walks over to Arfoire. She puts her hand on Arfoire's cheek.

Rei Ryghts: Just you and me.

Rei Ryghts goes in for a kiss. Black Heart gasps. Purple Heart puts her hand on Black Heart's mouth, but it's too late. Rei Ryghts and Arfoire turn towards the door. 

Purple Heart: Attack!

The group bursts through the door and attack the two goddesses. All, except for Purple Heart. She lunges towards the table and grabs Histoire. Arfoire notices. She leaps towards Purple Heart! Purple Heart kicks Arfoire in the skull. Arfoire bends backwards from the blow. Black Heart swings her sword and hits Arfoire in the abdomen. She lunges back and hits the wall. 

Rei Ryghts: Arfoire!

Rei Ryghts raises her hands and lightning appears out of her finger tips!

Rei Ryghts: I'm going to fry you all to a crisp!

White and Green Heart are caught by lightning. Black, and Purple, Heart run towards Rei and try to attack her. Lightning catches Black Heart, but Purple Heart manages to elude the attack. Purple Heart kicks the table towards Rei and it hits her in the back. She falls to the ground, along with Histoire. The lightning disappears, freeing the three goddesses. Purple Heart picks up Histoire.

Purple Heart: Let's go!

The group runs towards the door. Arfoire gets up and sees the group fleeing. She opens her mouth and fire emerges from it! It heads straight towards the group! Green Heart uses her spear to deflect the flames from her and the others. The fire turns to the left, hitting the wall on the other side. Sunlight comes through the opening. 

Green Heart: There's out exit!

The group turns around, and heads for the opening in the wall. Arfoire chants a spell, and dark magic comes out of her hand. The dark energy heads towards the group! White Heart turns around, and starts to twirl her axe. A snowstorm appears and collides with the dark magic. An explosion appears, creating smoke that covers the entire room! The group fly through the opening in the wall. They were in a castle. They head back down to Gameindustri. 

Arfoire and Rei clear the smoke and peak through the hole in the wall. The group is gone.

Rei Ryghts: Okay. This didn't go entirely according to plan.
Arfoire: Don't worry. We can get Histoire back. I gave them a little "going away present" while they were locked up in the dungeon.

Hyperdimension Neptunia: Land of the Goddesses: Ep. 4: Lowee.

Episode 4: Lowee.

The ever-growing party heads to Lowee, "The Land of White Serenity,"  to find Lady White Heart.

IF: Hey guys, did you guys pack any warm clothes before we left?

Compa: No. Why?

IF: Well, Lowee is covered entirely in snow.

All The Other Girls: WHAT!?

 

When the group finally arrives at Lowee, all of them are freezing, except for IF. IF has a long coat, hat, and gloves on.

 

IF: We should get you guys some coats in town.

Lady Vert: Actually, I don't think I'd need one.

 

Lady Vert runs over and hugs IF.

 

IF: L-L-Lady Vert, why are you hugging me!?

Lady Vert: You wouldn't mind helping me to warm up, would you Iffy? Your skin's so soft.

IF: Ha ha! S-Stop it! It's embarrassing!

Neptune: I don't know, Iffy, you seem to be enjoying yourself.

IF: S-S-Shut up, N-Neptune!

Noire: Really, Vert? In public?

Neptune: Hey Noire, I'm sooooo cold. Mind warming me up?

Noire: D-D-Don't even-!

Neptune: Aww well. Let's leave those other two lovebirds behind and get some coats.

 

The group heads into town and buys some coats. Then they head up to the Basilicom. In her office, Blanc, White Heart, is busy typing on her laptop. Her maid enters the room.

 

Financier: Lady White Heart, you have visitors.

Blanc: Really? Who is it?

Neptune: Hellooo, Lady White Heart! We come to ask you for your help!

 

Blanc gets slightly annoyed by Neptune’s loud voice, but then she realizes that her laptop isn’t closed. She hastily closes it, and then composes herself.

Blanc: Who are you?

Neptune: I’m Neptune. The others are Noire, Vert, IF, and Compa. Noire, Vert, and I are goddesses, just like you.
Blanc: From the three other lands? What do you want?

Noire: To ask for your help.
Vert: Histoire has been kidnapped, and we would like for you to help us look for her.
Blanc: I would like to, but I have to deal with these monsters-
IF: About that. We’ve found out that the monsters are being manufactured, and it appears that a human male is behind it. Or, at least, partially. There could be others, but we don’t know at the moment.

Neptune: I bet that whoever is manufacturing these monsters are the same ones who kidnapped Histoire. 

Blanc: Perhaps. What you’ve said about the monsters being manufactured makes sense. My soldiers have located the source of the monsters that have been plaguing Lowee, and I intend to stop it.

Noire: Is it a factory?

Blanc: Yes. Well, since you’re here, we can go and stop it together.

Neptune: Phew! At least you’re a lot easier to work with than Noire is.

Noire: Ugh!

 

At the factory already, the mystery man from the Lastation factory runs inside. He arrives at a room where another man and a mysterious woman are talking.

 

Mystery Man: Ganache!

Ganache: What is it, Singe?

Singe: The Lastation factory is gone! Black Heart found our location!

Ganache: Hmm... This is troubling.

Mystery Woman: Don't worry about it, Ganache. Your Killachines are ready to go, and the other monsters are almost complete. That should be sufficient enough for the takeover.

Singe: But don't you two think that White Heart will find THIS factory?

Mystery Woman: Let her find us. If she does, I have a little gift waiting for her, compliments of Ganache. Now, stop babbling and get back to work. It's time we set our plan into motion.

 

The Lowee Factory.

The group follows White Heart to the factory. It looks exactly like the previous one from Lastation. They head inside the factory, and as expected, nothing is there.

 

Compa: Now, where's that secret button?

 

Suddenly, the floor opens up! Ganache, Singe, and a huge robot, standing behind them, appear from beneath the floor.

 

Ganache: Welcome goddesses! We hope you didn't have a hard flight over here.

 

Black Heart looks at Singe and immediately recognizes him.

 

Black Heart: You're the man from that factory in Lastation!

Singe: Yes. I apologize for failing to kill you earlier.

 

Black Heart gets angry.

 

Ganache: Oh Singe, you're such a sweet-talker. Anyway, ladies, you're about to witness the birth of a new world, ran by Avenir technology!

Purple Heart: Avenir?

Ganache: I was met by a very generous donor who gave me the funds to create Avenir, an organization geared towards biology, genetics, and technology. I created weapons that Gameindustri has never seen before, powerful enough to conquer all four lands! No one would be able to stop me, and the best part is, I did it right under your noses, White Heart and Black Heart! I started working on our projects in Lowee first, but the time came when I needed more advanced technology that could not be found here.

Singe: Then Ganache asked for my help in Lastation. I'm the best expert in the field of technology in Lastation, and it was easy to make adjustments to Ganache's projects with Lastation's advanced technology.

White Heart: Impressive, but something tells me that you two couldn't have done this by yourselves.

Black Heart: Yeah. Who's this "generous donor" that you referred?

Ganache: Well, Lady White Heart, I'm actually a fan of yours, so I'll do what my goddess commands of me.

 

White Heart is surprised.

 

Ganache: I'll tell you... if you can beat my robot!

 

Ganache takes out a controller and presses a button on it. The robot behind him and Singe comes to life.

 

Ganache: Behold: The Killachine!

 

The Killachine flies after the group and begins attacking them! It swings its axe at White Heart. She flies out of the way just before it hits her. IF and Compa try to attack it, but the robot electrocutes them and they fall to the ground. They're stunned and can't move.

 

Green Heart: Iffy!

Purple Heart: Compa!

 

Suddenly, the Killachine fires electricity at the four goddesses. They're stunned and fall down to the ground.

 

Ganache: HA! The stun weapon is working! They're unable to move!

Singe: This was easier than I thought!

 

The Killachine moves up to Purple Heart. It lifts its axe into the air, directly above her. Purple Heart tries her best to move. The Killachine starts swinging its axe. Then, Purple Heart manages to throws her sword at the Killachine! It cuts off the right arm of the robot, and it falls down to the ground with its axe in it. Ganache and Singe are shocked.

 

Ganache: Killachine: Kill them!

 

Before the robot could react, Green Heart throws a spear at the robots second arm, cutting it off. Then Black Heart throws her sword, cutting off the robot's tail. Then White Heart throws her axe at the robot's head, cutting it off. The head flies back and almost hits Ganache and Singe. The two men run before the head lands on them. The robot's body falls down to the ground, and the party is able to move again.

 

The Mystery Woman.

Green Heart: Did you really think that your wind-up toy could beat four goddesses?

White Heart: Now you two are heading straight to jail!

Ganache: NO! I'm not going down like this!

Mystery Woman: Sorry Ganache, but you and Singe have failed.

 

A spear comes out of nowhere and slices off Ganache's head!

 

Singe: Arfoire, wait!

 

Singe is also stabbed in the throat and his head falls off! The party is horrified. The mystery woman, hiding in the shadows, walks into the open. She's wearing a witches' hat and a long dark purple overcoat.

 

Purple Heart: You killed them!

Mystery Woman: I don't tolerate failure. Anyway, it's good to see you four again. You've all grown up so much, and you've met some new friends as well. Good for you.

Purple Heart: You know us?

Mystery Woman: Know you? 

 

The woman laughs.

 

Mystery Woman: My dear Neptune, I created all four of you CPUs, with the help of Histoire.

All Four CPUs: WHAT!?

Mystery Woman: Yes. She and I used to rule Gameindustri together, along with Rei Ryghts. After Rei Ryghts and I decided to work together, Histoire snuck away with the four of you so that you guys could rule instead. 

 

She takes a book out of her coat.

 

Mystery Woman: But now, I have Histoire, and the time has come for me and Rei Ryghts to take over Gameindustri once again!

Purple Heart: Release her!

 

The mystery woman laughs.

Mystery Woman: Come and get her!

 

The six women run up to her. She extends her hand. A red Sharecite hanging around her neck begins to glow and a red light shoots out of her hand. The light engulfs the entire group! They all fall down to the ground, and are paralyzed. She puts the book back in her coat, and walks up to the group.

 

Mystery Woman: That was easier than I expected. Of course, you all are just children.

Purple Heart: Who are you!?

Mystery Woman: My name is Arfoire, one of the original goddesses of Gameindustri, and soon to be your goddess once again!

 

Arfoire raises both of her hands, and she and the other women start to levitate off of the ground. 

 

Arfoire: It’s time to go back to Celestia!

 

In a flash of red light, everybody vanishes.

Hyperdimension Neptunia: Land of the Goddesses: Ep. 3: Leanbox.

Episode 3: Leanbox. The foursome then headed to Leanbox, "The Land of Green Pastures," to find Lady Green Heart. In the carriage ride over to the Basilicom, Neptune notices that IF seems particularly eager to be here. Her eyes light up as she glances at the buildings around her. She takes out her phone and starts recording a video.

IF: I’m finally in Leanbox! It’s been my life’s dream to meet Lady Green Heart in person, and I’m a couple of minutes away from-

 

Neptune gets in front of her phone’s camera.

 

Neptune: Are you recording our ride up to the Basilicom?
IF: Ugh!

 

IF stops the video.

 

IF: It’s nothing.

Neptune: You seem very happy, Iffy.

IF: “Iffy?”
Neptune: A nickname I came up for you.
IF: A nickname that’s longer than my actual name?
Neptune: You don’t like it?

IF: No… It’s okay.

Neptune: Anyway, like I was saying, you seem pretty happy to be here.

IF: Mmm… Not really.

A devious smile forms on Neptune’s face.

 

Neptune: I bet you’re here to see Lady Green Heart!

 

IF’s face turns bright red.

 

IF: N-N-N-NO! I’m just… happy to be here, like you’ve said.

Neptune: Iffy has a crush on Lady Green Heart!
IF: How old are you? 

 

The carriage finally arrives at the Basilicom. The four women walk up to the Basilicom and are greeted by two guards.

 

Guard 1: Sorry ladies, but Lady Green Heart is refusing to see any visitors right now. She's working.

Noire: This is urgent business between the goddesses. Tell her that Lady Black Heart and Purple Heart are here to see her.

Guard 2: You two are goddesses? Yeah, right. I bet you're cosplayers.

Neptune: Cosplay? What's that?

Noire: Y-Yeah... What is that?  

 

Noire’s cheeks turn red.

 

As the guards continue to argue with Neptune and Noire, IF waits impatiently behind the group. She constantly taps her foot on the ground in irritation with her arms crossed. She turns to the right, and then she notices something. On the far right side of the building is a window. IF sneaks away from the group and goes up to it. She reaches into her coat and takes out a small knife. She cuts a large circle into the glass of the window, and goes through the opening. She places the piece of glass back into place.

 

Once inside, IF is amazed at how big the Basilicom is! She takes her phone back out and starts to record a new video. She speaks in a low tone of voice.

 

IF: I’m finally inside the Basilicom. The only problem is that I don’t know where Lady Green Heart could be...

 

She walks down a hallway and is greeted by a fleet of stairs. She walks up the stairs and spots a room. She hesitantly opens the door and realizes that she's in someone's bedroom. On the bed, a woman is sleeping. Light shines on her face and it causes her to wake up. She yawns.

 

Mystery Woman: Who is it?

IF: I'm sorry! I was just... 

 

The woman leans up. Realizing that this is a bedroom that she’s in, a  thought comes into IF’s mind.

 

IF: Wait... Are you Lady Green Heart!?
Lady Green Heart: Yes, and I was in the middle of my-

 

Lady Green Heart rubs her eyes and looks at IF. IF glows in the sunlight, making Green Heart’s face blush.

 

Green Heart: My oh my!

IF: Was I disturbing your rest? I’m so so-
Green Heart: No! No! No! Please stay. 

 

She gets out of the bed and faces IF. IF can't believe what is happening.

 

IF: Wow! I can't believe that I'm meeting Lady Green Heart!

Green Heart: Please, call me "Vert," and I can't believe I'm talking to such a cute girl.

IF: M-Me... C-Cute!?

Lady Vert: What's your name?

IF: I-IF! 

Lady Vert: Such an awesome name! Say, IF, would you like to have some pastries?

 

Outside the Basilicom, the three women are still arguing with the guards.

 

Guard 1: Enough, ladies. You are not getting inside. Lady Green Heart said-
Noire: Enough of this!

 

Noire transforms into her goddess form. The guards jump back.

 

Black Heart: Let, Us. In!

 

The two guards start to tremble.

 

Guard 2: Y-Y-Yes ma’am!

Guard: What!?
Guard: Just let them go!

 

The two guards part to let the three women through. Black Heart transforms back into Noire.

 

Noire: Thank you, gents.

 

The three women walk inside the building. Neptune stops, turns around, and faces the guards again.

 

Neptune: Umm… Where is Green Heart right now?

 

Meanwhile, Lady Vert and IF are sitting down at a table eating.

 

IF: I hate to say this, but I had to break in in order to meet you.

Lady Vert: I know. I told my guards not to let anyone in so that I could sleep. I’ll be honest though, this is a lovely surprise.

IF: I really wanted to meet you Lady Vert, but I'm also here to ask you for a favor: I'm here with three other girls: Lady Purple Heart, Black Heart, and a nurse in training named Compa. I’m a member of the Guild. 

Lady Vert: Ah, the monster hunters.
IF: Yeah. We’re here to help you take down the monsters in Leanbox, but in return we’ll need your help in finding Histoire.

Lady Vert: Histoire? What happened to her?
IF: She was kidnapped from Neptune’s… Purple Heart’s, Basilicom. We need your help in finding her.

Lady Vert: Of course! Histoire is practically a mother to me and the other goddesses. I’ll do whatever I can to help.

IF: Thank you so much! Back in Lastation, we found out that these monsters are being manufactured.

Lady Vert: Manufactured?

IF: Yes. 

Lady Vert: In that case, fighting the monsters on each land is just delaying time that we could be using to stop whoever is creating them.

IF: Hmm… True. 

 

The three other girls appear.

 

Neptune: Hey, Iffy. I see you’ve found Lady Green Heart.

 

IF’s face turns red.

 

Lady Vert: Please, call me Vert. 

Noire: It’s nice to finally meet you in person, Lady Vert.

Lady Vert: You too, Noire. 

Noire: The purple-haired idiot is Neptune-

Neptune: Hey!

Noire: And the orange-haired girl is Compa.

Compa: Hello!

Lady Vert: It’s nice to meet you all, but I think we need to get to business. Iffy told me that you guys found out that the monsters are being manufactured by somebody.

IF: “Iffy?”

Lady Vert: I thought it sounded cute.

 

IF’s face turns red again, but even redder than before. Neptune smiles.

 

Neptune: You’re welcome.

Lady Vert: I think we should focus on finding the people, or person, responsible for making these abominations instead of wasting our time taking them out one by one. Also, I think we should go to the last goddess for her help as well.

Noire: Lady White Heart.

Lady Vert: Every little bit helps.

IF: Well then, I guess we’ll have to go to Lowee next. I was actually starting to enjoy myself though…

Lady Vert: Well, when we’re done Iffy, I’d be happy to have you back for an extended period of time.

 

IF’s face lights up!

 

IF: Really!?

 

She stops and turns to Neptune, who has a smug smile on her face. IF clears her throat.

 

IF: I would appreciate that.

 

Lady Vert wiggles. She grabs IF’s hand.

 

Lady Vert: Great. Then, let us depart.

 

The two of them basically skip out of the room. Compa follows them. Noire and Neptune are the last to leave.

 

Neptune: So… 

Noire: So what?
Neptune: Aren’t you having fun?
Noire: We’re on a mission to save our lands from being destroyed by monsters. There’s no time to have fun!

 

Neptune actually turns serious for a second. 

 

Neptune: You know what I mean. You said that you prefer to be alone, but now you’re out of Lastation and seeing new things, and meeting new people. We would have never met each other, or Vert, or IF and Compa, if we didn’t decide to leave our Basilicoms and lands. Being stuck in my Basilicom all the time almost drove me insane. I want to find Histoire and stop the monsters too, but I’m glad that I met you Noire, and the others.

 

Noire’s face turns red.

 

Noire: Well… I am glad that we’re working together… J-Just so that we can get the job done! It’s not like I’m happy to be with you or anything! 

Neptune: ...I know…

Noire: Huh?
Neptune: I can be a handful, but I’m like this because I just want people to be happy. I like being comical. I actually don’t like fighting. I would rather have everybody be friends, eat snacks, and play video games all day. 

Noire: …That’s not possible.

NeptuneL Right now, no, but someday… 

 

Noire stares at Neptune in amazement. Suddenly, Neptune perks up and grabs Noire’s hand.

 

Neptune: But in order for that day to come, we’ll have to save the world first!

 

The two of them begin running to catch up with the others. Noire can’t help but to smile at Neptune.
