Hyperdimension Neptunia: Land of the Goddesses: Episode 7-Reunion.

Episode 7: Reunion.
Purple Heart vs. Black Heart:
Hours have gone by, and the sun has begun to set. Back in Planeptune, Neptune goes into her room and face flops onto her bed. She's furious.

Neptune: I can't believe that Noire did that! After everything that I've done for her...
Histoire: She reminds me a lot about Arfoire.

Histoire flies into the room.

Neptune: Yeah... From what Arfoire said back in Celestia, you kinda have a point... But I don't care anymore. I'm going back to Celestia, and I'm going to stop those two fallen goddesses myself!
Histoire: No. You have to get Noire and the others back. Arfoire and Rei Ryghts will kill you if you go alone.
Neptune: Noire told me that she never needed friends. I know how she feels now. 
Histoire: Friends fight, and they do so because they care about each other. Whether or not they want to admit it sometimes, they do care about each other. Noire has a hard time saying how she really feels, and from what I've seen, she really likes you, Nep. Don't give up on her. In fact, I think she wants you to chase after her. That'll prove to her that you really care about her.

Neptune rolls over onto her back, and looks up at her ceiling. 

Histoire: You do like Noire, right?

Neptune blushes.

Neptune: W-Well... I guess... Depends on what you mean by "like..."

Histoire laughs.

Histoire: Okay, "Noire." 

Neptune smiles. She leans forward, and looks at Histoire.

Neptune: Okay. I'll get Noire back, and the others!

Suddenly, Neptune's eyes glow red and she gets a headache. She grabs her head with both hands.

Histoire: Neptune, are you okay?

Neptune opens her eyes again. They return back to normal. She leans forwards a bit, but Histoire catches her.

Neptune: Woah! I don't know what that was, but it made my head hurt.
Histoire: It looked like you were under a spell.
Neptune: Wait... Maybe that's what-

Suddenly, two guards run into the room.

Guard 1: Lady Purple Heart, Lastation has invaded the land!
Neptune and Histoire: WHAT!?

All four individuals run out of the Basilicom. Outside, Neptune's army is outside of the building. Ahead of them is Black Heart. Her army is behind her. She raises her sword towards Neptune.

Black Heart: Neptune! Surrender your land to Lastation!
Neptune: Noire, what do you think you're doing!? 

Neptune spots Black Heart's eyes. They're red.

Neptune: What's wrong with her eyes?
Histoire: It looks like she's under a spell too.
Neptune: Then I'll have to shake her out of it.

Neptune goes to the front of her army. 

Neptune: Everyone stand down. This is between me and Black Heart. 
Black Heart: What do you mean?
Neptune: I challenge you to a duel. Whoever wins will have Planeptune AND Lastation as their reward!
Black Heart: Fine, but I hope you realized that you just surrendered your land to me. 
Neptune: Heh, sure. However, I would like to chose the place for us to fight.
Black Heart: Hmph. Fine.

In a grassy field surrounded by trees away from the city, Noire and Black Heart come face to face.

Neptune: Alright. Let's do this!

Neptune transforms into Purple Heart. Black Heart blushes, and Purple Heart notices. She smiles. The two stare at each other.

Purple Heart: Noire, listen to me: You're being controlled. Your eyes are red right now. Let me help you.
Black Heart: Ha! Seriously? I'm not falling for that. Now quite stalling, and let's get to business.
Purple Heart (To Herself): Well, that worked well. I think I know how to reach her though. I'll just do what I do best in my human form.

Black Heart raises her sword and charges at Purple Heart! She swings at her, but Purple Heart blocks the attack with her own sword. They lock onto each other.

Purple Heart: Hey Noire, did you like my transformation?
Black Heart: W-What do you mean?
Purple Heart: I saw a dirty look on your face. 
Black Heart: No you did not!

Black Heart pushes Purple Heart back with her sword, and charges at her again. Rising into the air a bit, she raises her sword behind her and swings it down at Purple Heart. Purple Heart dodges the attack by going to the right.

Purple Heart: I mean, our transformations can be quite seductive. I don't blame you for being curious.
Black Heart: Usually, you don't talk this much in your goddess form...
Purple Heart: I'll stop if you say that you liked my transformation.
Black Heart: No.

Black Heart swings rapidly at Purple Heart, but she keeps dodging her attacks. 

Purple Heart: Noire, why are we fighting? You shouldn't use your sword to hide your true feelings.
Black Heart: Shut up and fight!
Purple Heart: Why fight when we could be doing something else right now?
Black Heart: Having you sign a treaty of your surrender?
Purple Heart: Something a bit more intimate...

Purple Heart smiles, and Black Heart's face turns red. Her eyes start to return to normal, but they turn red again.

Purple Heart (To Herself): It's working, but I'll have to keep at it!
Black Heart: You can't charm your way out of this! Fight me like a real woman!
Purple Heart: There you go again, hiding your true feelings again. We don't you let he help you unleash them? You'll feel a lot better.
Black Heart: I'm gonna kill you!!

Black Heart goes into the air, higher this time. She starts spinning, and flies back down towards Purple Heart. Purple Heart moves out of the way just in time before she hits the ground! Both of them are getting tired.

Purple Heart (To Herself): This hasn't progressed. Her eyes are still red. What can I do? Do I have to go... farther!?
Black Heart: I almost... got you... that time. 

Black Heart raises her sword.

Black Heart: I won't miss this time.

Purple Heart puts her sword away. Black Heart is confused.

Purple Heart: ...Neither will I.

Black Heart smiles. The two goddesses charge at each other. As soon as she gets close enough, Purple Heart moves to the right and kisses Black Heart on the cheek! Black Heart stops dead in her tracks, shocked at what just happened. She turns around and glares at Purple Heart.

Black Heart: WHAT WAS THAT!?

Her eyes start to return to normal, but they're still partially red. Her head starts to hurt. She grabs her head with both hands and she falls to her knees. Purple Heart walks up to her, kneels down, and whispers something into her ear:

Purple Heart: I miss you.

Black Heart's eyes finally return to normal. She falls forward, but Purple Heart catches her. Black Heart opens her eyes. She's confused. She turns her head upwards and sees Purple Heart. Purple Heart smiles at her.

Purple Heart: Hey there.

Black Heart's face turns completely red! She forces herself out of Purple Heart's arms.

Black Heart: I... I guess you were right. I was under a spell.
Purple Heart: I'm sorry I had to do all that.

Purple Heart's face turns red.

Purple Heart: I'm glad you're back.
Black Heart: ...Thanks. I am too... What you did... Where you just doing that to free me from the spell, or do you actually li-... L-L-Li-...
Purple Heart: Noire, I....
Histoire: Neptune!

Both Purple and Black Heart turn to the right and see Histoire emerging from the trees.

Histoire: Did you free Noire from the spell?
Purple Heart: Yes, I did... 

The two goddesses turn to each other once again.

Purple Heart: We should tell our armies to stand down...
Black Heart Yeah, that sounds good...
Histoire: Did something happ-

Suddenly, a purple ball of energy comes out of nowhere and hits Purple and Black Heart. They fly backwards and fall onto the ground. 

Histoire: Noire! Neptune!

A figure walks up behind Histoire. She hears the footsteps. She turns around, but the figure grabs Histoire before she could react. A portal opens up, and the figure and Histoire enter it. It closes soon afterwards. Purple and Black Heart get up.

Purple Heart: Histoire? Histoire? 

The two of them look around, but Histoire is gone.

Purple Heart falls to her knees.

Purple Heart: No! Not again! I lost her again!? Why can't I protect her!?

She starts to cry. Black Heart leans down and hugs her.

Black Heart: It wasn't your fault. We'll get her back. 

Purple Heart wipes her tears away. 

Purple Heart: We need to get Vert and Blanc back. We have to stop Arfoire and Rei Ryghts now!

Blanc's Novel:
Simultaneously, in Lowee, Blanc is busy typing on her laptop in her bedroom. She is at her desk, which is situated at the end of the room. She has been typing for hours. Her chamber maid, Financier, walks into her room. 

Financier: Lady White Heart, you have a visitor.
Blanc: Tell them I'm busy, Financier. I have to-

Compa enters the doorway.

Compa: Blanc!
Blanc: Compa?

Compa runs up to her.

Compa: I'm sorry... for disturbing you... but I came to ask you... to come back... Phew!
Blanc: Why? All we've been doing is fighting one another. 
Compa: But Gameindustri is in trouble! Arfoire and Rei Ryghts will take over the whole world if we don't stop them!
Blanc: I can do that myself.
Compa: Huh!?
Blanc; I don't need the others. I can handle the situation alone. I've been running Lowee for years before I met the other three goddesses.
Compa: This is different. Those two crazy goddesses are stronger than you are. 

Blanc gets agitated.

Blanc: You can leave now.
Compa: You need help!

Blanc gets up from her chair, turns around, and yells at Compa!

Blanc: NO I DON'T! All the others will do is get in my way! I can handle the situation myself. Now leave. I'm busy at the moment.

She sits back down and begins typing again. Now Compa is agitated.

Compa: What are you even doing that is more important than-

Compa reaches down and steals Compa's laptop! Blanc tries to take it back, but Compa moves away from her grasp.

Blanc: Don't look at it!

Compa looks at the screen and sees a blank page with lettering on it. She begins to read it.

Compa: Wait a minute... This looks like a story.
Blanc: No! Its-
Compa: I know these characters. They're from a brand new romance manga that's been out for a year now! It's called "Summer's Thaw." Everybody loves it! 

Compa turns around to look at Blanc. Blanc turns her head away to avoid Compa's glance.

Compa: Don't tell me... YOU'RE THE AUTHOR!?

Blanc grits her teeth. She finally gains the courage to turn around and look at Compa in the eyes.

Blanc: YES! I'm the author!

Compa's eyes light up like stars!

Compa: I don't believe it! The author of my new favorite manga is the goddess of Lowee herself!? And best of all, I KNOW HER! 

Blanc is a little taken aback by Compa's positive reaction. 

Compa: You have to sign my copy of "Summer Thaw" volume 1! None of my friends would believe that I got to meet you!
Blanc: ...S-Sure. Wait! I have to finish volume 2 first.

Compa is disheartened, but then an idea pops into her head. 

Compa: How about this: You come back to Planeptune and sign my copy of volume 1 first. Then, I'll be the first one in line to buy volume 2!

Blanc's eyes start to light up.

Blanc: You'll do that?
Compa: Only if you agree to come back to Planeptune.

Blanc's face turns pouty. 

Blanc: You're just trying to get me to come back so I can rejoin the others...
Compa: Please?

Blanc; *Sighs* ...Okay.
Compa: YES! Thank you so mu-

Suddenly, a lightning bolt strikes the Basilicom! Blanc, Compa, and Financier fall to the floor. A figure appears through the hole in the roof. It's Rei Ryghts.

Rei Ryghts: Don't mind me, White Heart, but I've come to purge you of that human named Compa.
Blanc: Like heck, you will! Financier, get Compa out of here!
Financier: Yes ma'am!

Financier grabs Compa, and the two leave the room. Blanc extends her hand, and her axe appears in it. She jumps towards Rei Ryghts and swings. Rei ducks, and swings her hand towards Blanc's stomach. Lightning appears inside her fits as it connects to Blanc's body! Blanc is sent flying towards the ground!

In the hallway, Financier and Compa are trying to reach the exit. Suddenly, Rei Ryghts bursts through the wall on the right in front of them! 

Rei Ryghts: Where do you think you're going, hunny?

A scary grin appears on her face. 

Financier steps in front of Compa.

Financer: Stay back.

She takes out a knife from her blouse, and lunges towards Rei Ryghts. Rei extends her hand and lightning shoots from it! Financer flies backwards, and lands right on top of Compa! Rei Ryghts walks up to them.

Rei Ryghts: I must admit, that was pretty bold of you to do that. However, I won't be leaving without my cargo. 

She reaches down, and grabs Compa by the hair. Compa tries to free herself, grabbing Rei's fingers to try and release them off her head, but it's no use. A portal appears, and the two of them disappear. Blanc appears and runs up to Financier. She leans down and helps Financier to lean up.

Blanc: Are you okay?
Financer: ...Yes... 

She looks around for a second. 

Financier: Where's Compa!?

Blanc comes to the conclusion that Compa is gone.

Vert and Her Games:
At the same time, in Leanbox, Vert is as lively as she has ever been. So much, in fact, that her staff are a bit weirded out. Vert is currently in the kitchen getting tea. It's an unusual site for her servants. One of them, a woman, walks up to her as she takes a kettle mug full of tea off of the stove. She places it on a tray that has two plates and tea cups on them.

Servant: L-Lady Vert?
Vert: Yes, dear?
Servant: You're... in the kitchen. You never leave your room.
Vert: That's because I have a guest in my bedroom, and I want to entertain her.

The servants mumble amongst themselves. One person says, "A guest? Here?" Another says, "She never hangs out with anyone." One of them, Yvoire, the chief of the servants, walks up to Vert. he has a look of surprise on his face.

Yvoire: My lady, who is this "guest" of yours?
Vert: Her name is IF, but I call her "Iffy" for short.
Yvoire: "For short?" Are you sure you don't want us to get the tea for you?
Vert: No thank you. I want to do this myself. 

She picks up the tray and begins to walk out of the room.

Vert: I'll let you all know if I need anything.

As Vert leaves the room, all the servants are bewildered. All, except for Yvoire. Like a proud father, he smiles after what he just heard. In Vert's bedroom, IF is a bit nervous. 

IF (To Herself): Welp, I'm back in Lady V-... Vert's bedroom. How am I going to get her to go back to Planeptune?

Vert enters the room.

Vert: Here you go. Nice hot tea fresh from the stove.
IF: Thanks!

Vert pours some tea into a cup and gives it to Vert. As she receives it and begins to drink, IF starts planning out how to convince Vert.

IF: Say, Lady Vert, maybe we should-

Vert: By the way, I want to show you something!

IF: Huh? Sure. What is it?

Vert walks over to her television on the right. It's standing on a small elongated dresser. She bends down, opens one of the drawers, and takes out a console. She places it on the ground. There's also a video game in the drawer. After connecting the console to the television, she takes out the gaming disk from its case and puts it into the console,

Vert: It's a new game that my developers and I have been working on.
IF: You've been designing a video game!?
Vert: Yes. It's a fantasy adventure game called, "The Goddess' Journey."
IF: Sounds like the game series, "Four Goddesses Online."
Vert: I did get some inspiration from it, but the story and characters are all mine.
IF: That sounds really cool!
Vert: You can create your own character, play online with other people, and fight all kinds of monsters, sorcerers, tyrannical leaders, etc. I've been trying it out. I've spent 10 hours straight playing it so far.
IF: "10 hours straight!?"
Vert: And, you can make your character fall in love with anybody in the game... Unlike in "Four Goddesses Online..."
IF: Wait... You're not one of those people who get upset that your pair shipping don't get together, are you?
Vert: What? Me? I would never be one of those people...

IF grows a sly smile on her face.

Vert: ...Okay, I admit it! I made this whole game because I want my characters to get into relationships that I want them to get into! 

IF starts laughing.

Vert: Like why couldn't the main character of "Four Goddesses Online" get into a relationship with the other goddesses? Or the humans? That's why I've decided to take measures into my own hands!

IF stops laughing after a thought enters her head.

IF: Do you think that goddesses and humans could get into relationships?

IF starts to blush. Vert sits down next to IF on the floor.

Vert: I've spent a long time by myself. Aside from my duties as a goddess, I've spent all my time playing games. It was a way for me to escape my mundane life. Then you came along, and everything has been exciting. Well, until I couldn't get along with the other goddesses... But it's okay. I don't need them. I can just spend my time playing games again. I wouldn't mind if you hanged out with me every once in a while...
IF: T-That sounds great...

The two lean in closer.

Vert: Actually, Iffy, I want you to-
IF: Wait! I have to tell you something.
Vert: What is it?

IF hates the fact that she blew off her chance to kiss Vert, but she has a job to do!

IF: I would love nothing better than to stay here with you, but we both know that we have a job to do! Arfoire and Rei Ryghts are still out there, and we have to stop them.
Vert: I don't need the other goddesses. I can beat them all by myself.
IF: Wha-... With all due respect, Lady Vert, that's wrong. 

Vert is shocked to hear her say that. IF gets up, bends down in front of Vert, and grabs her hands.

IF: We need to go back to Planeptune. We need all four goddesses to take Arfoire and Rei Ryghts down. Please. For me?

Vert blushes. She's disappointed, but she can't say no to IF.

Unknown to them, a mysterious figure has entered Vert's Basilicom. A female servant walks up to Vert's bedroom. Vert and IF notice her.

Vert: I said if I wanted anything I would call you.

The servant begins to laugh. A purple mist surrounds her, and she transforms. It's Arfoire!

IF: Arfoire! 

Arfoire extends her hand, and a ball of purple energy appears. It flies towards IF and Vert. Vert grabs IF and pulls down onto the ground. The ball of energy hits the wall, creating a large hole! Arfoire flies foward, and punches Vert in the face! She flies through the opening in the wall, and falls down.

IF: Lady Vert!

Before she could react, Arfoire grabs IF by the hair.

Arfoire: She'll be fine, you little brat. You and I, however, have a date.

A portal opens up, and Arfoire and IF disappear. Outside, Vert gets her bearings. She realizes that she is outside.

Vert: Iffy!

She flies back up to the hole in her bedroom. She notices that IF and Arfoire are gone. 

Reunion:
It is now nighttime. Back at Neptune's Basilicom, both she and Noire are making a plan to go after Arfoire and Rei Ryghts in her bedroom.

Neptune: Okay! First, we need to get Histoire back and get her as far away from those two as possible so that they can't rewrite time.
Noire: Then, we can go after Arfoire and Rei Ryghts. However, we need Vert and Blanc too. Do you think they'll come back?
Neptune: If we can break them free from the spell, and then apologize for the argument earlier, than I think they'll join us. I just can't figure out how we all came under that spell...

Noire thinks to herself for a minute. She has a flashback to when all four of them, If, and Compa, were trapped in Celestia's dungeon.

Noire: ...When we were in Celestia! Arfoire or Rei Ryghts, maybe both of them, must have put a spell on us when we were in their dungeon.
Neptune: Makes sense. However, I wasn't under the spell when I fought you.
Noire: That means you broke free of it somehow! Think! What did you do?

Neptune has a flashback to when she had a headache during her conversation with Histoire. It makes Neptune blush.

Neptune: Weeellll... I think I do know...
Noire: What is it?
Neptune: I had a conversation with Histoire about you. I was so angry with you after you left, but Histoire told me that, deep down, I wanted you back. 

Noire blushes.

Noire: K...K-Keep going!

Neptune: I agreed, and then... *Gasps* Then I had a headache! It was so bad that I fell into Histoire's arms.
Noire: Like what happened to me!
Neptune: That must mean that, in order to break the spell, you have to confess your true feelings!

Both Neptune and Noire turn away from each other. Both of their faces are red.

Neptune: ...I-I mean... Well...
Noire: T-T-True feelings, huh...

Both of them give a nervous laugh. Neptune turns her head back towards Noire.

Neptune: I really did miss you, my little loner Noire.
Noire: I'm not a loner... anymore...

Neptune: You just said your true feelings again!

Noire snickers.

Neptune: Doesn't it feel good to get this all of your chest?
Noire: It's not easy to have your feelings out in the open like that. In fact, I think it's immature. But, yes... It is pretty therapeutic.

Blanc and Noire suddenly enter the doorway. 

Neptune: Blanc! Vert!
Noire: We were just about to...

Blanc and Vert just stand still. Their eyes are glowing red.

Neptune: Oh... right... The spell...

Vert and blanc transform into their goddess forms, and fly towards Neptune and Noire! Neptune and Noire transform as well. Green Heart attacks Purple Heart, and White Heart attacks Black Heart. A huge hole is created in the wall of Neptune's bedroom. All four goddesses arrive outside, and fall towards the ground. Purple and Green Heart are on the left, while Black and White Heart are on the right. 

Green Heart shoves her spear towards Purple Heart. Purple Heart blocks it with her sword, but Green Heart pushes down on her.

Purple Heart: Vert, listen to me! You're under a spell. Noire and I-
Green Heart: Must die!

Purple Heart kicks Green Heart away from her, sending her backwards. Green Heart flies up into the air. She extends her hand out, and five spears appear in front of her. They point down towards Purple Heart. 

Green Heart: Go!

The spears, at the same time, fly down towards Purple Heart!

Purple Heart: Oh! Where's Iffy when you need her?

Suddenly, Green Heart's eyes starts to revert back to normal.

Green Heart: ..I-Iffy...

She gets a headache. She grabs her head. Purple Heart gets an idea.

Purple Heart: Yes, Vert! Think of Iffy. She wouldn't want you to fight us.

Green Heart: She was... taken...

Her headache gets worse. 

Purple Heart 'Taken?"

She flies towards Green Heart, and puts her arms on Green Heart's shoulders.

Purple Heart: If Arfoire and Rei Ryghts have taken If, then we'll get her back. Just think of Iffy, and the spell will be lifted.

Green Heart's eyes return back to normal. She goes limp in Purple Heart's arms. Meanwhile, Black and White Heart are still duking it out.

Black Heart: Blanc! Look at Vert. She was under a spell, just like you are now. 
White Heart: I must kill you!

White Heart lunges foward and starts swiping her axe at Black Heart. Black Heart manages to dodge the blows.

Black Heart: Ugh! How do I get through to you? 

Purple Heart remembers something.

Purple Heart: Hey, if IF was kidnapped, then what about Compa?

White Heart's eyes starts to morph back to normal. Just like Green Heart, her head starts to ache. Black Heart notices.

Black Heart: Blanc, did Compa get kidnapped?
White Heart: ...Rei... Ryghts!
Black Heart: You see? This is Arfoire's and Rei Ryght's doing! This isn't you. Fight them, Blanc. For Compa!

White Heart's eyes revert back to normal. Her body goes limp, and she starts to fall back down to the ground. Black Heart swoops down and catches her. She regroups with Purple Heart. Both Green and White Heart get back on their feet.

Green Heart: Well, fancy seeing you guys again.
Purple Heart: I wish it was on better circumstances, but I'm glad you guys are back to normal.
Black Heart: Also, I think we all have something to say to each other: Sorry.
Purple Heart: For what happened earlier.
White Heart: No, I'm sorry. I'm such a hothead. 
Green Heart: I'm sorry as well. Then again, that spell made us say and do these things.
Black Heart: True, which means that Arfoire and Rei Ryghts are a lot more dangerous than we give them credit. 
White Heart: Yeah. I said I was going to take them down myself to Compa. That was so stupid.

White Heart begins to laugh.

Black Heart: So did I.
Purple Heart: Same.
Green Heart: Ditto. 

Purple Heart: However, I think we all work better as a team. We were able to rescue Histoire from them on Celestia before, so we can do it again. This time, we have to rescue her, IF, and Compa.
Green Heart: The last thing that I'll ever let them do is harm one hair on Iffy's head.
White Heart: And I'll kill them if they do anything to Compa.
Black Heart: Well then, what are we waiting for?
Purple Heart: Let's end this!
